Maqan Sárkány |

Round 2
Drawing the blade that Saronis had given to her, Maqan moved into battle proper. A spell on her lips, and her blade sparked to life with blue lightning. With it she took a swing at the closest enemy goblin.
Spell combat attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Damage: 1d8 + 1 + 2d6 ⇒ (7) + 1 + (6, 3) = 17
Also it is a +3 to the attack if they're wearing metal armor.
Round3
The next time she just took a normal swing.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Crit confrim?: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20

Urdrsk Stoneward |

Round 2
Dwarven Waraxe: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25
Dmg.: 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Round 3
Dwarven Waraxe: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
Dmg.: 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Urdrsk's martial prowess appears to be rusty as the goblins evade his axe swings.

Gavin Fickletoe |

Gavin had held back as he had been directed by his liege, but as the others moved in to support Saronis and Urdrsk against the goblins, something went of inside him. 'It is my duty...' he thought to himself as he drew his bow.
Round 2
Having remained 30 feet behind Saronis as instructed, Gavin knocks an arrow and lets off one, then another quick shot at the goblins besieging his allies.
Gavin has Precise Shot, so no penalty for shooting into melee
Long Bow #1(Rapid Shot, Deadly Aim): 1d20 + 9 - 2 - 1 ⇒ (7) + 9 - 2 - 1 = 13
Dmg: 1d6 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 1 + 2 = 4
Long Bow #2(Rapid Shot, Deadly Aim): 1d20 + 9 - 2 - 1 ⇒ (16) + 9 - 2 - 1 = 22
Dmg: 1d6 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 1 + 2 = 4
Round 3
Gavin continues to fire at the goblins battling his company.
Long Bow #1(Rapid Shot, Deadly Aim): 1d20 + 9 - 2 - 1 ⇒ (17) + 9 - 2 - 1 = 23
Dmg: 1d6 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 1 + 2 = 9
Long Bow #2(Rapid Shot, Deadly Aim): 1d20 + 9 - 2 - 1 ⇒ (19) + 9 - 2 - 1 = 25
Dmg: 1d6 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 1 + 2 = 5

GM Wolf |

Round 1
Maqan hits one of the goblins for a frostbite on its arm. 1 damage
Round 2
Maqan misses with her strike, if only they were wearing metal armor! Also it takes a double move to get to the goblins over the rocks. As the group moves forward to get into melee. Gavin hits with one of his arrows into the goblins abdomen. Saronis quickly sneers at the arrow as it barely missed him.
Round 3
Maqan hits solidly on the goblins stubby neck, and hacks through it. Decapitating the goblin. Urdrsk's axe flies over the goblins head nearly missing him. Two more arrows from Gavin takes down another of the goblins, as Saronis takes down the last one.
End of combat for now...You have two rounds: 4&5
The door is rickety and appears to be able to move.
1d20 - 4 ⇒ (15) - 4 = 11
1d20 - 9 ⇒ (15) - 9 = 6
1d20 - 14 ⇒ (16) - 14 = 2
1d20 - 19 ⇒ (12) - 19 = -7

Gavin Fickletoe |

Gavin moves up across the battlefield, a big smile on his face given the success of his archery. Approaching the rickety door, he looks up at Saronis. "You see those shots!? Bam! Anyway, let me take a look, I bet they got some kind of trap on the door." He leans down, carefully examining the door and its strange workings.
perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18
disarm trap: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23

Saronis |

Solemnly and much more quiet than his hafling squire he agrees, "Yes well done, excellent yes please, be very careful it appears to be more of an alarm than a door. Once it is disabled, Urdrsk and I will 'sneak' in the rest of you follow from 30 feet again."
engineering: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25

GM Wolf |

Gavin reaches through the door to put pressure on the right planks making the door open quietly. He also asks someone to grab the bottom of the three chains to minimize their sound. Through teamwork and steady hands soon the door is open with almost no noise.
Urdrsk you are now in a tunnel with the fithly smell of rot and goblins. You see the walking goblin before he sees you barely alert he is 40 feet away from you. Round 6, anyone else getting the perception DC 14 may act in surprise Round 6.
The tunnel looks to be 80 feet long as a small fire is lit at the end. There is an opening 20 feet down on the right, 30 feet down on the left, 50 feet on the left, and 60 feet on the right. All light spells are out now.

Urdrsk Stoneward |

As the dwarf warrior passed by the now-disable door, he saw Gavin holding the planks silent so they could pass. Urdrsk gave the young halfling a nod of appreciation and a thumbs-up.
The dwarf miner-turned-hero launched himself at the goblin, hoping to silence him before he called out.
Dwarven Waraxe (charge): 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 8 + 2 = 25
Dmg.: 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

Gavin Fickletoe |

perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
With his attention focused on keeping the door silent as his companions pass, Gavin is unable to lend his aid in the initial confrontation with the lone goblin in the hallway beyond.

Cook-Cook |

Cook-Cook stays put behind the plants within sight, but 45 feet distance.
If the motley group of adventuring goblin bait returns he is ready to cast Entangle when they are within safe distance.
Hopefully he nets many goblins in the spell.
Cook-Cook looks to the goblins who stayed behind close to the camp and speaks to them in Goblin.
"I think my townsmen will do fine, take out some of them before they come here. When they do come, stay behind and sling, throw or fire anything you have from a safer distance if possible. Don't be a hero if you don't need to be." Cook-Cook says solemnly.
"If you want to be useful now, gather up any edible herbs, moss, roots, nuts, fruits or dried meat of any kind. We will need it afterwards."
Hopefully none of us will get too hurt. O God of Noodles, protect us now.

Saronis |

Round 6
perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
He focuses on keeping the end of the chain still as the dwarf goes through and slowly makes his way around the door, keeping the door quiet.

GM Wolf |

The chief goblin, 4 adult warriors, and 5 younglings stand ready with Cook Cook behind the wall of carnivorous plants. You stand in the tunnel leading to the other goblin encampment well away from their home.
Round 6
The dwarf charges down upon the goblin as it looks up to see what the movement is all about and finds an axe slicing down upon his head. He didn't have a chance to make a noise and was dying upon the floor at the dwarf's feet.

GM Wolf |

End of combat.
1d20 - 4 ⇒ (5) - 4 = 1
1d20 - 4 ⇒ (9) - 4 = 5
1d20 - 14 ⇒ (6) - 14 = -8
The group passes the door leaving it quiet. What does everyone do?
The smell is horrendous, rotten food and the unclean permeates the area attacking your nose.
The tunnel looks to be 80 feet long as a small fire is lit at the end. There is an opening 20 feet down on the right, 30 feet down on the left, 50 feet on the left, and 60 feet on the right. All light spells are out now.
Urdrsk you have passed two of the passages and their are two ahead of you besides the end of the tunnel 40 feet ahead.

Saronis |

He moves quietly forward with his large blade in his two hands. He breathes only from his mouth doing his best to not be undone by the smell. Getting to the first passage he looks in to see what is there.
Fort DC 14: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
He backs away looking a bit paler to those with darkvision. He shakes his head and moves forward.

GM Wolf |

There are no coverings over these passages, just and opening.

Maqan Sárkány |

Maqan placed her hand over her mouth quickly as to not add to such a smell with her own vomit and made her way to the second passage.
Fort: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
She braved through the smell with some grace and swiftly turned shaking her head. "Just, not this way."

Saronis |

He moves forward to the third passage looking in...
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15 He then walks into the room. He would walk out after 7 rounds or so.

Maqan Sárkány |

Maqan slowly moved after Saronis, and took a moment to look in.
Perception DC15: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
She gave a small shrug and moved to look down the fourth passage. She then turned and waved to the others, motioning for them to come down this way.

GM Wolf |

I made spoilers to Maqan because I thought she would be checking out passage 4 on her own. If you join her go ahead and say so.
1d20 ⇒ 2
20 adults
10 warriors
2 adult guards
5 warrior

Maqan Sárkány |

Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
Maqan moved in slowly, keep her eyes and ears open with each step down the pathway. When the area opened up she paused as this area looked like more of a cave, however the sound of water made her believe they were going the right way. Not like they had much of a choice though. Moving a bit more, Maqan made her way slowly to the other end, placing her hand upon the cave wall and looking down it for another path.

GM Wolf |

As you move into the cave you smell many things but one catches your nose more than others, a strange smell of citrus. There is the smell of rot, mold, but the citrus smells out of place, also it is not as bad as the passages from before. Before walking around the jutting wall you hear some movement, something big and chewing. Most of the debris on the floor seems to be rotting corpses, bones, and mold.
K local or survival DC 15:It is more of a refuse spot for a creature than a den for goblins.
Do you peek around the wall, go get the group (stealth check), or choose to do something else?

Saronis |

Saronis comes out grim from the passage walking up to Urdrsk he whispers asking, "Where's Maqan?" At the likely motion towards the passage, he does his best to be stealthy and follow her.
stealth: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22

Maqan Sárkány |

Knowledge Local: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
What this place actually was hit Maqan like a tone of bricks. Thus she tried to quietly leave the room, returning to her friends and lover.
Stealth: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23

Maqan Sárkány |

"It's a den, some sort of creature... I didn't see it but there are enough bones to tell..."

Saronis |

Whispering back he nods, "Yes, let us leave."

GM Wolf |

The trio return to the main passage. Saronis motions for Maqan to stay and for Urdrsk to move forward. Following Urdrsk with his blade ready.
As you approach the end of the main passage you feel the fire. It is likely a magical fire as it burns like a column from floor to ceiling 10 feet away from the entrance. Looking from left to right it is rather clean compared to everything other place you have been here so far. There is a 10 foot space around the column to walk around either way.

Saronis |

Following the dwarf he is ready as they travel past the fire and into one of the sleeping rooms. He does his best to be stealthy but follows Urdrsk's lead.
Fort Save DC 16: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14

Fort save 16: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Stealth, fatigued: 1d20 + 3 - 1 ⇒ (10) + 3 - 1 = 12
Trying not to breath to hard, Urdrsk tries to communicate quietly that the party should silence the sleeping goblins to the group.

GM Wolf |

At present with Urdrsk's last post I have no clue where everyone is located. Saronis told the others to stay behind and now Urdrsk is whispering to the group. Who is with Urdrsk and Saronis, who is behind the fire room, and who is next to the trapped door?
Urdrsk and Saronis, you can notice the little amount of noise you make does not wake any of the goblins yet.

Saronis |

He nods to the dwarf waiting for him to go first. Following as silently as he can going along the other side of the room to Coup De Grace the sleeping goblins.
fatigued stealth kills: 1d20 + 4 - 1 ⇒ (12) + 4 - 1 = 15

GM Wolf |

Maqan you will need to do the fortitilude save for going through the fire room too.
There are easily 10 goblins in this room.
Stealth check DC 10 means you kill one goblin without disturbing the others. Saronis will be able to take down three before the goblins raise the alarm.
After the initial killings goblins begin to wake up at noise especially when they begin yelling. They seem to sleep in the filthy leather armor and weapons are haphazardly around. If you both get a 15 on your stealth checks the goblins in this room shouldn't be a problem.

Urdrsk Stoneward |

As soon as Saronis gets to the other side of the room, Urdrsk holds up three thick fingers for everyone to see, then begins to count down.
The dwarf will assist the elf noble in the Coup De Grace at the same time.

Maqan Sárkány |

Fort Save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Stealth: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
Maqan moved around the pillar, the fire seeming to not even matter to her.
When they got the the room Mawan silently moved around, driving her sword into the sleeping creatures.

GM Wolf |

The three of you are very successful in slaying the goblins, there is only one left with its pitchfork threatening you 15 feet away. Though you can hear the hooting and hollering from many more back the way you came from. What do you do?

Round 2
He slashes his curved blade at the ground and all the blood flies off of it splattering to the ground. He looks up at the other two and shrugs. He slowly makes his way forward. At 15 feet per move.
