Rodalas moves ahead with the rest of the group slowly coming up behind. Rodalas quickly finds himself at a corridor with one tunnel heading south and another passage heading east. Both ways are lit with torches placed in brackets along the walls.

Duncan whispers "Anyone see any signs of which way they might have gone?" If not, then Rodalas I suggest you pick a tunnel to scout.

Let's just go down the eastern most tunnel. Moved Duncan's token but assume he's at the end of the group.
With Rodalas leading and Duncan pulling up the rear you travel along the tunnel heading east. A slight draft can be felt as you move this way. The passage before you looks it has seen some heavy traffic going back and forth leaving you to wonder what lies ahead...
From behind you out of the darkness two arrows from the south and one bolt from the west tunnel strike at the rear of the group before you can react. The missiles hit against the rock passage.
From the south, a man brandishing a cutlass moves to protect the archer.

Duncan wields his Warhammer and strikes the bandit close to him and yells "There are NO spirits in this house... YET!
The elf will cast true strike pointing at the archer and will then pull out his daggers.
You point a finger at a target in range. Your magic grants you a brief insight into the target's defenses. On your next turn, you gain advantage on your first attack roll against the target, provided that this spell hasn't ended.
A streak of fire flies from Tanya's hand just hitting the bandit armed with his short blade.
Rodalas quickly casts his spell a feeling of complete oneness with his weapons. Orym charges down the passage his scimitar finding its target. The man grunts drops his bow and draws his short blade. Stabbing at Orym the blade catches the firbolg in the thigh Orym takes 5 points of damage
Not to be outdone Duncan swings his hammer his voice echoing through tunnels. The hammer strikes with a thud and you can see bandit is winded quickly he swings the blade at Duncan but Duncan easily avoids it.
Two arrows fly at Duncan from the bowman in the back! One flies high and the other narrowly misses the priest.

As the arrows continue to fly past Duncan he shouted his cry echoed in the halls."Procan has blessed me this day!"
Rodalas lets loose his arrow and there is never a doubt as it strikes the archer. The man grunts in pain as he moves to draw two more arrows from his quiver.

Persuasion:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Duncan very abrasively offered the remaining bandit an ultimatum. ”Your friends are dead, surrender now and we will make your journey into Procan’s arms swift.”
I guess a crit fail on a persuasion check sounds more like a threat.
The firebolt falls short of the the archer ricocheting off the wall to his right. Seeing himself all alone you watch as he runs off down into the passage heading into the darkness.
You givess chase to the bandit and with his darkvision easily finds him stumbling in the dark as he tries to navigate his hand against the wall while trying to move as quickly as possible.
As Orym heads after the bandit he moves out of the light and finds himself staring into darkness.
Orym since you have no darkvision you cannot see any further than what the map shows. You will need a light source to continue or you will be stumbling into the dark.

Duncan follows Orym down the tunnel after the bandit. Suddenly they are both surrounded by darkness.
"Well they already know we are here."
Suddenly Duncan touched his helm and muttered an incantation.
Cast light - 20' Radius bright light, 20' further dim light
Chasing after the fleeing bandit the light casts into another cave that is roughly circular in shape and roughly 25 ft in diameter. With the light now shining in the cave the bandit looks back at you pursuing him the fear on his face is unmistaken.
Tanya if you would like you can cast a spell. Your movement made it into the room. Everyone else had to dash or is out of melee range currently.

”Before we let you go we need some questions answered. Who else or what else is down here? What have you and your companions been doing under this house?”
As the others question the offending bandit instead of killing him outright, Althea pokes about the chamber to see if there is anything interesting about.

I'm asking all my folks to forgive me for a few days. I had a friend commit suicide this morning and I need some time to process this. I will be back in a day or three. In the meantime, if you or someone you know needs to talk, PLEASE call someone! Send me a private message if nothing else. I am always willing to listen and I promise that it will remain confidential!!

Oh my. That’s terrible. All the best to you. Take whatever time you need, I can’t imagine what you are going through.
I need to apologize to my GMs and players. I have less than two weeks to a local convention on which I serve as the Game Operations Director, overseeing the entire gaming room (which is the largest gaming floor in my area). I also have to make a trip to Dallas this weekend that cannot be avoided and I have possible jury duty starting on Monday next week. Anyway, I will update when I can. I haven't forgotten you, just been very busy.
You wouldn't believe it. My wife is legally blind, and in addition to doing all the driving and acting as her eyes for answering and sending email. Add that into the mix above, toss in a Thursday afternoon game I run at the (not-so) local library (about an hour drive from me) every other week, Friday and Wednesday night games (though these have been suspended until after the con), and keeping up with appointments for her father and elderly aunt, neither of whom drive (not to mention our own), and our typical week is packed! In addition, she is the convention director, so I have to aid her with that work as well.
Okay, I'm back. The con was great, but very tiring! We had about 1500 unique visitors, which is pretty good for a convention our size. Guests included Morgan Berry (voice actress), Jay Little (gaming guest), Brendan LaSalle (from Goodman Games), and fantasy artist/gamer Melissa Gay. I found time to run two original Savage Worlds adventures (a fantasy jaunt titled "The Banshee's Tower" and a Weird War II adventure called "The Dogs of War"). Jay Little signed my copies of Age of Rebellion and Edge of the Empire and Brendan signed my copy of How to Write Adventure Modules That Don't Suck. All in all, a good weekend! I'll be getting back into the swing tomorrow.
