Posting this in all my RP groups
I haven’t forgotten or quit. But our country is having an energy management crisis, where our electricity provider implements “loadshedding” throughout the day. Meaning at certain times we sit without power for over two ours. Currently they do this 3 times a day. And this really messes with my role-play at this point in time. Once they settle this I’ll be able to post more often. It really is frustrating
Thanks for the games so far, I still hope to play in the games I am in.

Two question:
1) Are we currently size small? I was not adding in the size bonus to hit or for AC. Should we be? I think some of us are.
2) We have found a masterwork sword and a breastplate and we have 4 warriors that could all use these items. Who should carry what? I think some already have medium armor. I think I'd rather use the armor in over the sword but I have weapon focus in long swords. It it better to make one of us a lot better or to make more of us somewhat better? I think the latter. Based on that I'd like to claim the breastplate for now and let someone who will use the masterwork longsword take it.
1. Size adjustment isn't part of the 'template' from Ultimate Campaign; this is likely because you're assumed to be 10-15, and thus taller than a Halfling :) I understand that some of you may be more halfling-sized, and that's fine; the adjustments for small size are pretty well balanced, so if you're willing to take the penalties, you can have the bonuses.
2. I leave the loot split to the players to discuss here

When Raggnor becomes a shifter he won't be able use either of them so I'm happy for Horvan to take the breastplate and someone else the long sword.

if you take the Child template you are considered small yes, all the equipment that henyan has is small sized, so the breastplate and sword would be to big.

At 12 I am not sure if I should me medium or small.

The average height for 12 year old human boy is 4ft10 that should make you medium i would think.

I am cool with medium.
Small grants +1 to hit and to AC and +4 to stealth. Other than needing to use small weapons and armor I am not sure there is a down side. Is there?

+2 dex, -2 str compared to medium.
I have Issi as being small but she's a. female and b. 8, so small makes sense. She's also likely to stay that way! :)

I didn't take the Small template now, I will have to check on Hero lab again tonight, as a Dwarf the base height for them is 3'9. The base height for a Gnome is 3'.
I am going to assume that it made me small since that is how I had to purchase gear on Hero Lab because I would be under 3'9"

Hmm. Lets try to do this both smart and fair.
The armor is an upgrade for Donovan, Gaggnor, and Horvan. But it slows. Donovan is already in medium armor and so has taken a hit to speed already. So if he upgrades to the breastplate his AC goes up 1. Horvan or Raggnow could upgrade to Donovan's old armor, and their AC would also go up 1.
Raggnor uses a two handed weapon a the moment so does not use a shield. Might make sense for him to take Donovan's old armor IF he is ok reducing his speed to 20. If he wants that then Horvan will take the sword. Otherwise Raggnor can take the sword and Horvan will use Donovan's old armor.
Thoughts?

in the long run if there is not a smart and fair option I am good with a roll off.
And is this case I was also fine with "Finders Keepers"

So looking at the Young template on Hero Lab, it is from the Monster Manual not Ultimate Campaign, so Henyan shouldn't be small. I will fix it up tonight and repost him

I just met a girl from Venezuela, but she had not been living there in a while. Still had some heartbreaking stories.
This won't be relevant for a little while, but I'd like to start a discussion: how are your character's parents reacting right now? Their kids have been gone for a full day, and did not come home before dark. Did you leave a note? Are they out of town? Children typically had less direct supervision during this time period, and indeed many kids your characters' age could be working jobs, but I'm curious to learn more about each character's family situation.

Horvan's family is just now noticing he is gone. They are busy with the store and likely first noticed that some chores had ot gotten done. Now they are growing concerned and inquiring with the local authorities and will be quite worried about all the missing children. They will likely demand a group be assembled and sent after the kids.

Rurik is going to be worried by now, he will have checked in at the temple and when he did't find Issi there he'll have started worrying. Unfortunately he's reasonably woodsy - so he might come out to look for her...

Taking this many people to start probably contributed. It's hard to keep up in a really big party and once you fall behind its easier to fall out alltogether. No worries though, Issi is here to hold the ropes and save you all from icy water! :P

I wonder if it has anything to do with the delay of getting into character levels. I must admit that I was surprised to learn how long we have to troop along with these NPC levels, I am having fun but too long before we get our class levels could be a problem for some.

I am enjoying the game. I thought it was a neat idea, and I am ejoying the game more then I thought I would.
I originally took on 8 because I liked all of the submissions, and because in my experience you'll always lose a few people (particularly playing on a forum) and I figured starting with 8 gave us a stronger chance of retaining a good party size even after attrition set in. I did, however, underestimate the time to reach the story beat in the adventure that made the most sense for the 'transformation', and I am working to make some adjustments for that reason.

We've been pretty lucky so far actually! I lost most of a party playing this far and they were full PC's with class levels!
Same here. I find that most PBP games wind down after a couple of months due to schedules getting out of sync.

Better than fighting our way in - there's no way we'd have managed it. And there were traps outside! We're probably better off trying to sneak out later (and check if the lady is there!)
