Berore night rest:
Small almost silent prayer in full darkness (just after some bath). Oh, and to feed her bat (maybe I didn’t mention about her familiar before).

Mathos, update your gear, please. Need to know your armor and such.

These is an issue with my alias. It is there but the spoiler wont open. I will try to fix it.
Update. I copy/pasted the GEAR section and put it below and it works. Weird. I will keep trying to troubleshoot it, but I am lost.

Nope. I had not got as far as going to bed yet. I did some reading and stuff. I was holding off outright saying I was going to bed until I knew what others were doing. You mentioned watches and the like so was waiting to see what others thought of that.

A few respond, He had a vial on his person. It was quickly identified. It's about as open and shut as you can imagine.
---
A hushed but emphatic voice suddenly breaks the silence, as if someone is trying to be heard without being too loud. The voice speaks in broken Common and is coming from outside the window. “Wake up! Wake up! Big men with big knives come for you! Kill you! Wake up!”
You have one round to prepare for an altercation.
Low-light conditions. Please state how you handle that. Please also state the condition of your weapons and defenses as most of you would have been asleep. Go ahead and take that one round of prep and we'll get started.

Zeta jumps out of bed in one light nightgown, pretty distracting from a possible fight.
- How curious. Let them come. A bad fate awaits them.
The bat anxiously squeaks and beats its wings sitting on her shoulder while Zeta utters a magic armor spell (on herself) and retreats to the side, giving place to the melee fighters (she will stand in some corner to not to be near the door or window).

Edwin wakes up, takes his sword and runs out in his pants.
"Can someone mage armor me!"
Jikma
|
Since you can sleep in light armor, I believe Jikma will be in that.
Roused from sleep, Jikma stands up and grabs one of the gadgets that she's built. She shakes open a round metal disc that attaches to her head via headband. It moves on its own.
Move action to stand up, standard action, activate shield gadget (as a Scavenger, Jikma's extracts are clockwork devices not potions. AC is now 23.

Not a smart move, morons.

Vandelaria reminds everyone that she is not just a pretty face with a gun.
With an incantation she causes a layer of grease (Reflex DC 13) to fill the hall in front of the door. She then moves to block the door while drawing her pistol until Edwin can get into position.

She clicks her tongue and utters the words of the magic formula, directing her middle and ring fingers at one of the enemies.

Jikma takes a second to pick her rapier off the ground. There's just no way she'd have it on her belt.

The remaining Pike punk bolts down the hall and down the stairs afraid for his life.
You can give chase but he's not likely to bother you or have any further impact.
In the room, the goblins climb in through the window and wait for you to come back.
You, Pathfinders! Our father wishes to speak to you. It regards our brother, Zig. He has been wrongly accused and we need your help.
Edwin Towerfall
|
Edwin returns into the room and starts putting his armor on.
"Guys, shall we go to his father?"
GM Weenerton
|
A cursory check suggests he is just unconscious. Perhaps the goblins can be helpful here?
GM Weenerton
|
Assume the body is taken care of. 3 votes to go to "Father" so I'll move you along so you have time to post tomorrow.
The room is filled with goblins, each dressed in a different outfit: a goblin lamplighter, a goblin cobbler, a goblin barmaid, and more all stand around in a semicircle. At the front of the room stands an older goblin, taller than the rest and wearing a silk suit stretched over a protruding waistline. While the other goblins might fidget and chatter quietly among themselves, this older goblin stands perfectly still with the air of easy command one might expect from a nobleman, and when he speaks, it is with an easy, husky voice.
“Welcome, my friends, to my humble home. My name is Moneymaker. Yigrig Moneymaker, at your service, and this is my family."
“I have heard good things about you from my son, Zig. Sweet kid. A sweet kid who should not suffer for a crime he did not commit, wouldn’t you agree?"
“Let us cut to the chase. I am led to believe you have been looking into Phlegos Dulm. He was your friend, but he betrayed you. He was my friend too, but he has betrayed me, sacrificing my very own son to do it. It is in the best interests of both of our organizations to see him pay for his crimes, wouldn’t you say?”
Shayna Therinor

I assume you have proof of some kind? We have to have some sort of evidence to take back to our superiors...or enough to pressure the rat into confessing....either way, I am comfortable. I can make him talk, I think... Shayna says with a wicked glint in her eye. My cousin Doran taught me a few tricks to..persuade someone to talk...
Mathos Crus

If you do not have proof this could go very badly for you. Mathos flashes the 7 pointed star on the cover of his book.

Yigrig raises a hand patiently, calming the Pathfinders, Guests, do you not see the reach I have into this locale? I believe you came to know one of my daughters, Lobda. I have eyes everywhere and know very well of Plegos's dealings. I now have a path for you to bring him to justice, if you please. Yigrig waits for that realization to dawn on the Pathfinders. Well then, we don't have much time. Phlegos knows you are onto him and you must extract the remaining evidence. His hideout is at a pub he had converted from an abandoned market building by the docks. The poisoned bards were searching for another trio that are enslaved at that location. Free them and bring evidence to release Zig. Can you do that?
Jikma
|
"What kind of evidence are we talking about?" Jikma speaks up, "You say the evidence, not some evidence, or any evidence we may find. Is there something in particular that you know will exonerate your Zig?"
GM Weenerton
|
You must recover the slaves captured there and any other documentation for Phlegos's operation. Hurry. Yigrig bids you adieu and hands you a crude map of the town with the headquarters pointed out.
--
The pub that serves as the base of Phlegos’s operations is a mostly abandoned business that Phlegos has taken over as a temporary headquarters for his operations. The pub consists of three different buildings: one on the north, one on the west, and one on the south, all of them run-down and in need of repair.
I've placed your tokens on the side of the map. Please describe your approach and any preparation you've made.
