"Ok, ok I will go first!" Edwin just smiles and takes out his sword.
Then he opens the door and enters the room.

Hey hey hey. Braced for it? The guards wait for your response.

With Edwin detecting evil Mathos will detect chaos
The Prince of Darkness detest chaos. Mathos grasps his book, ready at a moment to flip it open to cast a spell or beat someone with it.

![]() |

From the current place you can detect chaos only in Zeta, though she will try to escape your detecting... as a precaution ;)
- We're always ready for something like this. You all better run... now!
She tilts her head, looking in the doorway from under her brows and begins to giggle ominously.
Cackle hex. It's SU, so no spellcraft. Maybe I'm just a bit crazy?

Vandelaria moves up to get a glimpse of the commotion, her dragon pistol in her hand.

Jikma and Edwin make short work of the remaining guard. The cells along the walls are all empty. There is one door remaining. Inside, in the eastern corner of this room, a large desk is covered with papers and ledgers. A hammock hangs loose behind the desk.
Standing at the desk is an elderly Varisian man. Presumably Tistin Snive.
You are trespassing on Pathfinder property. Apsis? Who do yo work for? You have already committed murder, do not get yourselves in any deeper. Tistin stands resolute at his desk.

![]() |

- Oh no. We're from the Society, like you. We both know your master does dirty stuff. Such a man should not stand at the head of our Lodge in this city. We already have some evidence. And you right now have a chance to escape from the sinking ship of villains on the mighty frigate of good guys.

"Yup," says Vandelaria while reloading her pistol. "You might as well just save us the trouble and hand over his ledger of accounts. The real ones... All of them."

![]() |

Holy smokes these rolls!!
Tistin pulls himself up and raises a finger at the Pathfinders but pauses suddenly. It looked like he was about to deliver a full-on rebuke but your words have shattered him. In his memory, he is flooded with images of torture and suffering.
What do you know? These were necessary steps... He falters again. Thi, this.. is not right. He finally concedes to himself.
He waves a hand over his desk and an aura dissipates. He produces materials from his desk. Take these. I am ashamed for having been a party to it.
Back at the party house...
You enter to rather still room. No music plays, and instead of idle chatter, the air is filled with dread and whispers. A smattering of broken bottles and glasses lie in pools of golden liquid just a few feet away from three figures lying on the floor: those of the bard siblings, Kaba, Kora, and Kitt.

A Pathfinder or two had quickly attended to the afflicted bards and interceded in time, they are on the road to recovery.
A lady near you in a thick leather coat with a hefty bag of clanging materials approaches and explains, I was able to administer the appropriate extracts to stall the poison. They will be fine. Luckily we have captured the poisoner.
The crowd parts as several Pathfinders drag away Zig the goblin. The young goblin is sobbing hysterically and screaming over and over again “Not me, not me, not me!” His cries appear to fall on deaf ears, however, and as his pleading eyes sweep the room, he is taken away.

Feel free to respond to the previous. There is some RP value here. I will post the next phase to move us along a bit.
After the spectacle, Roderus approaches you inconspicuously. Not the ending to a party I was hoping for. A shame, I had put my trust in Zig.... Were you able to secure the items I was looking for?

Dougle taps his foot impatiently as you slowly make your way to the main area. Took a little longer than I would have liked but here we are. Get to mopping up this mess and you can take the room upstairs for the night. But not until you make this place spotless.
You'll settle in for the evening after that. Please describe any end-of-day spellcasting, watch cycles, sleeping arrangements, and any other ritual or prep you tend to do for your character's evening.

Mathos does his best to avoid working, but after one or two stiff words he gets in and helps, all be it grumbling the whole time. Once the work is done he retires to study The Asmodean Monograph. He is all together unimpressed with the shared sleeping quarters and grumbles about those also.
