"I do not recognize it," Tseghet admits. "Zelphar, perhaps you have dealt with a creature such as this before? Is it open to the teachings of the Inheritor, or is its heart merely full of mindless savagery?"

GM XaveTheNerd |

KnPl Zelphar: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22
Zelphar says it's just a Bunyip. An angry little thing native to the plane of water. Capable of moving on land like a seal. Nothing too scary so long as you stay out of the water.
And with that, The team enters the room and the creature attacks but...
handwavery
It's a pretty one-sided fight to kill the thing. Just now realized it's CR 3, so that's just....not a threat at this level
The room opens back up to a flooded hallway, the same abjuration keeps this hallway from spilling water in. I also didn't cover two doors that lead, honestly, to nothing. One vote moves us through another door. Which one?

Torrak Farcrusher |

"Stupid beastie, shoulda stayed in the water!" Torrak scolds the spirit of the Bunyip. "Once ye check it out, I'll open up this one 'ere Merritt," he declares, pointing at the door down the hall.
________

GM XaveTheNerd |

1d20 ⇒ 2
Merritt incorrectly deems the door as safe, and the Pathfinders open it.
This flooded room is octagonal, shorter than it is wide, with a small platform overlooking the water. Well, it was overlooking the water, but the abjuration keeping water out of this room seems to fail as Merritt opens the door, and Torrak gets pushed further into the room as a strong current quickly fills the room with water.

Nope! Torrak flies into the room, completely off of his feet. The remainder of the Pathfinders don't find the force sudden enough to really carry them along. (Note, because of the break between Torrak and the others in the marching order, only Torrak was affected by this)
As Torrak flies into the room, he finds himself face to face with a sixteen-foot-long eel, mouth open to display large teeth and a second set of jaws!
