Good to be aboard!
I don't quite remember, though, when are we starting? The character I signed up with is still in a game, which looks to be maybe one encounter away from over. I have another one in a similar role at 5 if need be, so it isn't a big problem.

It probably won't be over by then. So here's my second!

A Google Hangout has been set up in case we need to get in touch by means other than via the forums (in case of outage, etc.)

![]() |

We still short a player?

![]() |

Since it sounds like we have a little time, then I plan on purchasing a few more cure mod potions, and for the free potion, get a 2nd potion of fly. When I get home from work I will verify that there are no other items I wish to purchase (where I can see my physical character sheet).

![]() |

For my free potion, I'll get a potion of Magic Circle against Evil. If a couple more of us grab one as well and stagger using them, we should have a solid couple hours of a magic circle available.

![]() |

I can change the free potion from fly to Magic Circle against Evil.
I will use 2 prestige to get the potion of fly, and buy 3 potions of cure mod and 2 more holy waters.

![]() |

I have a lot of purchases to make. I have not made any in a while.
headband of charisma +2 4,000
mithral shirt +1 2,100
scroll of haste 325
scroll of see invisibility 150
for my free potion i'll take a magic circle against evil if you want the potion of fly El.
for ammunition will be arrow of demon bane.

![]() |

I'll take a potion of Magic Circle against Evil also. Not sure if shuriken are considered ammunition for this purpose, though. If they are, make it a +1 demon bane one of those; otherwise I'll slap that on a sling bullet.

![]() |

I'd also like to buy a scroll with 4x remove fear (4x25gp=100gp) and a scroll of remove paralysis (150gp).
For my free ammo I'll take an undead-bane bolt.

![]() |

Kosaki, I am good, thanks for the offer, but I think having multiple potions of circle of protection vs evil would be useful for the front line. And 2 prestige is an easy use for a potion of fly.
And I agree with Shawa, I will give my +1 undead bane bolt to Chou, as I am not usually in ranged combat.

![]() |

So...starting a fight, and I am heading to bed with just a few allies/enemies to act before me.
GM, so I don't slow things down, and because I didn't want to post this in the Gameplay because it would be out of sync with initiative order, here is what I am going to do. I didn't want to know if I succeeded or not, so I didn't put start and end brackets on the the code. If you want to Bot me there, go ahead (otherwise I won't be able to do it for ~8 hours), and just complete the beginning and end brackets. This is effectively what she does for the first round.
Free action: Stinker will hold on fast, and protect me (using aid another) as soon as a person attacks me (granting me a +2 to AC).
Swift action: activate Sudden speed (spending a pt of mental focus-abjuration for +30' movement).
Move action (60' now). This should get me to the space right next to 2 (on his north).
Free action: attempting to yell/make noise to attract the undead to me instead of the librarians.
Standard Action: attack B1 with power attack elven curved blade.
dice=PA Elven Curve blade] 1d20+8 [/dice
dice=Damage (slashing)] 1d10+8 [/dice
Also Free action (in case nobody has done it yet):
dice=Religion check to figure out what I know if these creatures] 1d20+8[/dice

Looks like I missed a piece of development from the last mission. I originally thought it was something after the fight had it happened.
As you leave, one of the merchants who didn’t support the plan to hide weapons approaches you. He conveys that in the past few weeks, a woman had been spreading rumors about falling prices, which encouraged weapon merchants to hide their wares to build scarcity. The merchant had used his contacts to find out more about the mysterious woman, and they were able to discover her name: Muhlia Al-Jakri.
If you don’t recognize the name, your character knows that Muhlia Al-Jakri operated as a Pathfinder Society faction leader for several years before
disavowing the Society in a scandalous event that left one of her colleagues dead.

I would like to know the name of the creature, and DR or resistances on creature (if any).

***Token #3***
Passing Aid Token to: GM Mike Hallet
Current Boosts: Allied Offensive (boosted by Sorcerer Hudor Nero)

![]() |

Can you already boost a boosted token?
If so, I might as well attempt it...
Attack roll (non-PA): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29
And...now I will likely not to hit the next few times ;-)

![]() |

I kinda figured. In which case our bard might want to inspiring boost it, or else somebody with better skills can boost it.
I won't be able to post much today, helping a IRL friend teach a half dozen or so people new to PFS the game...going to be running Confirmations and then maybe a the Compact. I will attempt to pop on when I can today.
If I needs botted, El will do her best Assisting in any skills she has (she will attempt her own perception checks (Stinker will also do so)).
In fights, if she has to she will spend 1 mental focus to get burst of speed to get into combat as soon as possible, keeping Stinker there to get the +2 to AC (not figured in FYI). If she can't get into combat with sudden speed, she casts lead blades and moves.

![]() |

Ack! Forgot we still had the token.
Knowledge (Engineering): 1d20 + 12 + 1d6 ⇒ (12) + 12 + (5) = 29

![]() |

Hmm...maybe I should keep an eye on the Group boons...I honestly keep forgetting about them :-P

![]() |

So that my playing a late game of Detective: A Modern Crime Board game tonight until Midnight or so doesn't hold things up....GM please bot me if needed.
E-lsaurru will make sure the noble is safe, and then 15' move to the south east, staying out of the way of the Baddies if at all possible (and if not, having AC 25 with Stinker protecting her) move to B1 and attack once with Power attack with the curved blade
dice=slashing (magical) attack]1d20+8[/dice
dice=damage]1d10+8[/dice

From R. Sweet's table.
***Aid Token #3***
Passing Aid Token To: Mike Hallet
Current Boost: Allied Offense.

![]() |

Just a heads up. After about 10 hours from now, I won't be logging in or commenting over the weekend. Going to go down to a friends convention to do some Real Life PFS and SFS (I finally get to play my augmented technomancer nuar...can't wait for that. I also get to play with a powerful Thalassoian (sp) illusionist wizard (Phantasmal Killer Will Save in 26 range (+1 or 2 depending on what extra I am using), with a Fort save 1 pt lower).
I will probably be able to post in the evening Sunday though.

Craft (Boon): 1d20 ⇒ 13

Boon: 1d20 ⇒ 18
Almost.

![]() |

You have a choice to make from the chronicle sheet. Let me know which two benefits you want and I will get your chronicle filled out.
Defender of Absalom: You aided Absalom in its hour of need, breaking the siege of demon-flesh monstrosities, undead saboteurs, and ghastly ships. The people of Absalom witnessed your triumphs and will remember your courage for several deeds in particular. Choose one (or two, if so instructed by the Overseer GM) of the following rewards corresponding to a faction’s objective that either the House successfully fulfilled (corresponding to one of the conditions announced during play) or that your table successfully fulfilled; cross the others off your Chronicle sheet. You do not need to be a member of a particular faction to choose its associated reward.
▫ Wise Quarter Warden (Dark Archive): Several librarians of the Forae Logos owe you their lives, and scholars across Absalom are willing to assist you. You gain a +2 bonus on all skill checks while adventuring in the Arcanamirium, Blakros Museum, and Forae Logos. While in a city of at least 5,000 people, you can check the box that precedes this boon to acquire one single-use magic item or wand worth no more than 100 gp × your level. You may acquire a partially charged wand with this boon. The item has a resale value of 0 gp.
▫ The Coins Custodian (The Exchange): You ensured that greed would not lay Absalom low in its time of need. While in a city of at least 5,000 people, you can check the box that precedes this boon to borrow any one magic item worth no more than 2,500 gp × your level for the duration of the adventure. The item cannot use charges or be otherwise expendable.
▫ Tempest Guardian (Grand Lodge): You led the Muckruckers to victory in reclaiming Fort Tempest, which also salvaged some of the fort’s besmirched reputation. The militia makes you an honorary Muckrucker, teaching you or a protégé some of their favorite tricks. You can check the box that precedes this boon when making a new Pathfinder Society character to grant your new character one of the following as a bonus trait: fast-talker, resilient, or suspicious. Alternatively, you can gain the trait.
▫ Maestro of Manumission (Liberty’s Edge): You oversaw the manumission of hundreds of Absalom’s slaves, which might mark the end of slavery in the city and recruit new talent to the Society. You can check this box when creating a new character to begin that character at 2nd level with 3 XP, 1,500 gp, and 6 Prestige Points.
▫ Eldritch Artillerist (Scarab Sages): You revived an ancient guardian construct that was able to channel arcane energy in a previously unseen way—and you parse how to replicate it. You can check the box that precedes this boon when building a new character to grant that character access to the spellslinger archetype from Pathfinder RPG Ultimate Combat as if it appeared on the Additional Resources page.
▫ Anointed Champion (Silver Crusade): Scion Lady Xerashir of House Shamyyid has marked you a friend of the good-aligned planes, and you gain a +2 bonus on all skill checks while adventuring on such planes or when interacting with a creature with the good subtype. You can check the box that precedes this boon when expending Prestige Points for a spellcasting service to reduce the Prestige Point cost by 25% (rounding the discount up, minimum cost 1, a maximum discount of 35%).
▫ Noble Heir (Sovereign Court): You rallied several of Absalom’s noble houses, all of which distinguished themselves during the siege. All four are eager to recruit new talent into their hierarchy, and they have each invited you to become a lord or lady bearing their respective family name. Choose the al-Hadir, Arpador, Caperina, or Tullian family. You are a lord or lady of that family whose noble status is recognized in most realms. You also gain a signet ring and one bejeweled bauble for each character level you have. You can pry the gem out of a bauble to use in place of an expensive material component requiring gemstone dust, and each bauble’s gem is worth 100 gp.

Thanks GM. It was a pretty awesome game. Okay..the last fight was painful and kinda ground to a halt because we had issues fighting flying (and darkness enshrouded) creature...but I think we still might have been able to pull it off if given enough times.
I will take The Coins Custodian and Eldritch Artillerist.
Thanks again, and hope to find another game to sit with you and all the others, it was great. If you think you need another player sometime, just send me a message.
