I'm certainly up for it, but unless Leyten jumped from Level 1 to Level 3 during the course of the adventure, that might not be possible. Can a PC below the minimum level participate?

You could use the 4th level kineticist pregen, skinned as Leyton, and apply the chronicle to him later. Laafdahni could do the same with the sorcerer if she won't hit 3rd after this chronicle.

This chronicle will level Osten up to 4th.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to continuing, but it looks like I'll have to play a pregen, too. Laafdahni had only just leveled up to 2 for Part II, so she'd still be 1 XP away from 3rd level after Part III.

Thanks for the info! So how would that exactly work? The 4th-level pregen kineticist is Yoon, the pyrokineticist. So would "Leyten 2.0" adopt those stats for the next adventure, and would I be able to swap out Yoon's fire-based stuff for Leyten's negative-energy stuff?

The pregens cannot be altered, so it has to stay fire. So, while it would still be fire for all mechanical purposes, but you can describe it however you would like. You would use the pregen' as is; so feats, skills, stats and gear would be locked in.

We would play it as if it is still Leyton. You could also use your same profile as you are now, just update your stat lines to reflect Yoon.

As we will be playing in the 3-4 tier, you would be able to apply the chronicle to Leyton as soon as he hit 3rd level.

As Leyton would be the character you are considered to by playing, you could not play YOUR Leyton (same PFS#) until after we have completed Part 3.

I hope this answers some of your questions.

You'll need to play the pregen as written, but we'd call you Leyton instead of Yoon.

If you want to play a different pregen to give a class a try, that's fine as well.

Let me know which one you'd like to play. I'll send you the character sheet info for your Alias. Some awesome people put them together so all you have to do is cut and paste and follow the directions.

Yup, I am! I've pasted Seoni's stats on Laafdahni's page with a notation that she's a pregen. I don't know if that's the standard operating procedure for using pregens, as I've never dealt with that before.

I've just done the same. I'm keeping a backup of "Leyten 1.0" on my computer for the time being.
