All my gear that i baught is now in my profile. Everything. It's anew character that i made with GM credits

The fighter strolls into the room, an assortment of large weapons about his body.
"I am Yao Tsun-On. Feel free to call me Yao. You shall have my weapons at your side.

A young Tien woman was already waiting as he walks in. Her eyes bright blue. Her hair, dyed white to one side, or was it dyed black on the other? One could not say. A formal air as she sat quietly. Her eyes regard him for a moment before she smiles
"Greetings. My name is Suki. Pleased to meet you. I am here to assist in ranged support. Though my skills with a bow are still lacking"

Don't worry, I have yet to meet the problem that a big enough explosion can't take care of! Ha Ha! Just kidding. sort of...

![]() |

With a raised eye brow she looks at the newcomer
"And you are?"

In a rather loud voice (as if he might be a bit hard of hearing) he says, You've not heard of me? I thought everyone had head about me. it's not like I'm quietly mincing around to go unnoticed. Oddities!
Well I am now known as Ehm Sven Nien. When I'm practicing it tends to get pretty loud. But don't worry, I'm working on it. Soon it should be really damn loud. He appears to have a big cheesy grin behind that blue dyed beard.

![]() |

She turns her head away a bit
"Not so loud please. We are indoors after all" she does give him a smile to make sure he knows she is just being polite.

"Loud noises, like explosions, i believe, does that to people" she laughs

The young half-elf dressed in red, green and gold with the holy symbol of Sheyln walks in with his glaive strapped to his back. With a nod of the head which has a beret on it, in the same colors, he winks and says, Hi! I am Riceak Hawklight of the Church of Shelyn. he offers his hands which look like they have the remains of plaster on them.

The cleric will ask What are everybody's talents? I am an artist and I bring the blessings of my goddess. If I need to I can fight but prefer not to, I am a lover and not a fighter.

![]() |

She smiles
"Welcome. I am sure we will need your talents if we get into trouble. I am merely here to say a few words on behalf of a friend. Shes a bit people shy. But great once you get to know her. Shes an arcane user if what she showed me is to be believed. Just be careful around her. She can be a handful sometimes"
She sighs and shakes her head
"Sometimes i wonder why we are even friends... but atleast she makes my life interesting"

My talents lie in my strike.

![]() |

"So much violence here... she will fit right in!" she replies with a smile
"Not my cup of tea, but she will for sure enjoy your company"

Another half-orc appears on dock with an animal companion that is about as tall as he is. The half-orc has a glaive and a bow. His companion is a T-Rex.
Being a man of few words the half-orc introduces himself and his T-Rex. I'm Dulomak. She is Kontha. We are from the Land of the Mammoth Kings.

The game is start with 4 members and GM.
The man who walks with a lope, his name is Hamshanks, enters into the room.
He soon speaks very fast. but his expression is normally.
“Never time to do it right, is there? Gorum see us through this, then.”
He grunted loudly and leveled his glare at the entire room.
“Ever been to Qadira? Religion is almost a fad down there, with new cults springing up like weeds and getting crushed just as quickly.
It has been that way for centuries."
“But some make a mark - on Qadira or in the Chronicles.
Three centuries ago, the archdevil Moloch, preaching surrender to the desert heat, suddenly became the rage.
Qadirans walked into the desert just to die just as if the heat was their paradise.
The most devout sought out the hidden Citadel of Flame, where a fearsome bull-headed idol of Moloch judged them and sent the worthy to Malebolge, the sixth layer of Hell.
No surprise that Sarenrae's priests launched a mighty crusade to demolish the citadel.
After two weeks, a great sandstorm swallowed the expedition - and, it seemed, the citadel and its idol. Nothing more was heard from either."
"Hopefully we are the first to learn about its reappearance and we need to act fast.
The Decemvirate doesn’t expect any trouble, so they're sending you. But I do expect trouble - who knows what's infesting that citadel?
Get in there fast and find that idol-it could be the key to the entire cult.
It’s likely statue-sized, maybe as big as me, and should have a bull’s head on it. And for Gorum's sake be careful.”
This time is a chance to ask your questions or purchase any additional gear you may need before arriving at the Citadel of Flame.

"Excuse me sir, will we need any specific wardrobe for the trip there? And do you know if others are seeking this idol too? "

"I will inform my friend. She wont be happy about the heat, but well, she wants to go" she laughs

What is the nearest civilized location?
How long is the travel expect to take one way from that civilized location?
Is the Society providing the camels and supplies to get there or do we need to arrange them ourselves?
.
I will purchase at least a couple of scrolls of endure elements and create water if one of you doesn’t have it already, some of you might want the same. Buried tomb in the desert also seems like a good spot for acid, liquid ice, anti-plague, anti-toxin, and holy water if you can afford it.

![]() |

I don't have a lot of cash, but I can pick up 2 flasks of Acid and a Holy Water. I'll also pick up a couple of extra waterskins. I think that comes out to 47 gold.
"Does the society to expect cultists to come back to the area?
What is the plan for removing the idol once we have recovered it?"
"I also need to make a short stop for supplies"

> Nien
It is a below that Nien knows and Hamshanks says:
What is the nearest civilized location?
the Nearest city is Sedeq, is famous for the heart of slave hearts.
How long is the travel expect to take one way from that civilized location?
It's 100 miles apprroximately.
"The Society serves the Caravan for the trip, but You must buy gears you uses in the Citadel of Flame."
> Yao
"Yes, the Society almost think it. When you faces cultists, you must destroy or catch it."

A range in temperatures we are going to experience Kontha, from the jungles I found you in, to the cold of the Mammoth Lords to the new desert heat. It should be fun.

MAP is uploaded: here
A long trip from Absalom is hard, but no trouble.
You are walking in the mountains now.
The path descends through a maze of cliffs, opening into a slot canyon of smooth red stone surrounded by towering hoodoos.
At the far side, two hoodoos carved into enormous bull-headed men leer
down on the canyon, while those nearby look like stylized flames.
To either side, the canyon walls rise steeply in a series of rough ledges to the clifftops above.
Brass doors on a massive wall of baked gray mud can be seen through an arch at the far side of the canyon.
Would you like to do what?

Before you leave the city.... and @GM she buys a hot weather outfit.
A female meets up with you. Bright blue eyes. White fur. Big fluffy tail. Both tail and ears end in black tips. She is waring very practical clothing. Easy to move in and suited for a hot climate. A chain shirt can be seen under her clothes. A huge grin on her face
"Pleased to meet ya! People call me Vixen. Or pest. Nuisance. Not you again. Or even Get away from me! Glad to tavel with new people"
at where the GM puts us... :
She takes a look around. This might be a place they can be ambushed. So best keep her eyes and ears open!

The fighter takes his spot at the point of the party. Best to be aware of the surroundings to ensure none of the crazed cultists get the jump on them.

Ruki lifts her paw up, motioning a noise
"Sshh, I hear something... hopefully it's something that won't try to eat us..."
she points in the direction of the noise

![]() |

She smirks as she moves to a position to better see the creatures, her paw stretched out, as a blue beam of light springs out at the closest attacker!
cant edit map... on my phone. Someone move my token please =^^=. Also what knowledge can we roll to try and identify them?

What is the initiative order for combat, or are we trying to get by without fighting?

![]() |

just in case... Initiative : 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
-Posted with Wayfinder

stackfield |

I think Ruki's action is without The Combat, so she still needs not to roll the initiative now. fix:sorry, typo
Ruki's beam hits, and builds an ice wig on its head, and then a humanoid trembles :)
If you wish to do anything now. you can do it one time only.
the Next time, The scene goes into The combat. > Yao and All.

![]() |

Surprise round I am guessing. I will use my action to move up to one of the creatures.
Yao stalks forward towards the nearest fire-robed figure. His nodachi at the ready. It is always a pleasure having the element of surprise in a battle.
"Prepare to meet steel!"
I also took care of moving Ruki, although she may need to be adjusted. Added a link to the map into my header as well.

Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23

If only that damn gnome would get out of the way, then we could do some real damage to these things thinks the hunter.
