Hasshin searchs everywhere in the room and finds a set of keys still attached to a belt in the guts of the very dead snake. It was a python.
You also find the head of a half-orc, the man that was slain in this room by the ape-man.
When you search the storage room, you find nothing relevant for your mission.
Going to the Grand Exibit Hall? :)
Jiggo Maelerant |
"That poor half-orc." Jiggo shakes his head. "We must stop this monkey madness!"
To the Exhibit Hall!
Hasshin Sshok |
Hasshin shakes the keys of the gore covering them "Sssadly i found a ssset of keysss in whats left od the python, they ssshould prove ussefull"
Graxzos Glyphkeeper |
"Where the devil is that fella we was comin' t'find?!" Graxzos growls. "Right then...one room left..." He reloads his pistol and lets one of the slightly beefier Pathfinders take the lead, though he follows closely.
Callan Domhnall |
Feeling as though he should have some feelings for the slain kinsman, the half-orc remains emotionless. Callan will lead, ready to proceed if the storage room is bare. Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25

Nimgaji |
Feeling the battle could have gone better Nimgaji pauses for a moment in silence for the passing of a reptilian brethren. "We must move on. Nothing can be done for it now."
GM Zinou |
You get back in the main hall. A long hallway leads to this grand hall, wherein the Blakros Museum shows off its finest collections. Mock vines cling to the walls and hang from the fifty-foot-high domed ceiling, and huts of grass are strewn about the open area. At the center of this sprawling chamber, a miniature replica of a traditional Mwangi ziggurat rises out of the mist to a height of nearly twenty feet. At the top of the ziggurat, a rail-thin elven gentleman is strapped to an altar, his bare chest painted with strange sigils and monkey paw-shaped blots of paint.
All around you, the room fills with howling monkeys. They are climbing on the walls, in vines in the ceiling, and all around the room. A large ape jumps down from the ceiling and pounds his chest, letting you know who is king in this room.

Please note that the monkeys are not the true threat here, they are just puppets of the big gorilla.
You can all make a Perception check once you're in the room.

Jiggo Maelerant |
"Whoa there, it's him!" Jiggo runs past the ape (tries to stay 10 ft away), then assumes a defensive pose.
Full Defense. My AC is 19 for this round.
Graxzos Glyphkeeper |
Graxzos stares. "Welp, that'd be the threat..." he mutters. "Guess we shoulda come here first, eh? Right then!" Stepping just inside the door, he drops his goggles down over his eyes and points his pistol at the humongous ape!
Small move and attack! Spending a grit point to use Up Close and Deadly.

GM Zinou |
Hasshin, are you trying to do an acrobatic check in order to avoid an attack of opportunity? If so, you don't have to because the gorilla's flatfooted. Also you can't do so, it's only possible to do that if you're wearing light armor.
Callan, are you taking an action besides the perception check?
Jiggo enters the room and takes a defensive posture, Graxzos fires at the big ape and Nimgaji hits the ape hard with his scythe. Genki doesn't manage to bite the gorilla.
Besides, Genki, Nimgaji, Callan and Jiggo detect two miniature replicas of a traditional Mwangi ziggurat that rise out of the mist to a height of nearly twenty feet on both sides of the gorilla.

Oh i dd not know that thanks GM on both points ^_^

sorry, couldn't get the map to load last night, so wasn't sure of the setting, on the iPad so someone please move my icon to the south western corner of Kong, next to the dino.
Callan will enter a rage state and let out a blood curdling battlecry while moving to its southwestern corner, but the simian beast seems little impressed.

No worries, Callan.

"Grahaha! Excellent!" Graxzos chortles as the ape falls. Seeing the wooden statues move forward, though, his face reddens. "Oi! Back off!" Stowing his pistol, he moves up next to Jiggo and Hasshin and takes a chop at it with his ax.
Stow pistol as a move, 5'-shift, and chop with ax. If the one they're engaged with is down already, it'll just be stow, draw, and move around to engage one of the other ones.

Hasshin hits hard the tiki before him but doesn't manage to break it. You feel as if it were more resistant than normal. Graxzos manages to damage the same tiki a bit more but it still moves. Jiggo, on the other hand, dances around the tiki with his quarterstaff, unable to hit it.
On the other side of the room, the combined assault of Nimgaji and Callan shatters one tiki. The room suddenly falls dead silent - not a single monkey makes a sound, and the elf strapped to the table passes out. It is eerie.
The other two tiki try to attack you nevertheless, but only one hits. 6 damages, Callan

Jiggo Maelerant |
"Yeah, they're pretty tough, Hasshin." Jiggo agrees just as everything falls silent. "I hope Nigel is alright. No way can I break the curse while these tikis are trying to smash us."
Break Enchantment takes a minute to cast.

Hasshin and Graxzos take down the second tiki while Jiggo dances again. On the other side of the room, Callan and Nimgaji succeed in shattering the third one.
Out of Combat
After a few moments of dead silence from the monkeys, suddenly, the place comes to life again, as apes and monkeys again begin to move. This time, however, they leave the room, escaping the museum.
The elf on the slab regains consciousness, and begs you to release him. He also starts ranting about how the Tik Taan must be destroyed.
You ask him a few questions, and quickly establish that he is Nigel.
As you talk, you notice that the mist has been disappearing, and the air is clear.
GM Zinou |
Nigel thanks you, puts on a robe, and thanks you again. He then asks you to come with him. He leads you into one of the exhibit halls, and opens a case, removing from it a Mwangi spear.
"This a rare weapon from his my own personal collection. I would like you to have it, in gratitude for your work here. You saved me, the museum, and many animals that were under the influence of that evil idol. The weapon is an incredibly ancient Mwangi spear that Chelish explorers found near the colony of Sargava during the reign of the expansionist Chelish prince, Haliad I."
The spear is a bejeweled masterwork spear with brittle, white bird feathers tied with crumbling leather straps beneath the still-sharp spearhead. You estimate the worth at 750 gp.
You know it will be worth a great deal to the Pathfinder Society and they’d hungrily pay to include it in their collection.
"In addition, here is an ioun stone. As you probably already know, you can place some ioun stones of these in those wayfinders of yours to create fantastic magical effects. Sadly, this one is inferior to most, but still I would like you to have it."
With the curse of the Tik Taan ended, the Blakros Museum returns to business as usual (after some clean up). When Nigel discovers it was Adril who sent you, he is deeply touched and eventually his friendship with the hulking venture-captain is repaired. More importantly, he now makes all of the Blakros Museum’s vast collection available to the Society for study and considers re-petitioning membership.
Congratulations! The scenario is complete. I will be working on chronicles today, so if you want anything listed on them, please post it in the discussion thread. Thank you all for this game, I really hope you had fun!
Jiggo Maelerant |
"Thank the gods we were able to rescue you!" Jiggo nods at his companions and shakes Nigel's hand. "Some of the employees had lost their minds. We were able to rescue some of them."
Jiggo grabs the parchment. "This parchment gave a pretty detailed warning about the curse, and way to break it permanently. Might be useful to make a few copies."
With the mission complete, Jiggo thanks his fellow Pathfinders. "Well gentlemen, it's been a pleasure to save some lives today alongside you. Still, there's a homeless shelter with plenty of people who need cheering up. So, I'm off!"
Hasshin Sshok |
"HAHA, yess maybe you can teach them your dancing sskillsss eh? well letss ssee when the next time we can ssave more lives my friendsss " Hasshin said with a grin
Callan Domhnall |
"I'm headed to the Wisp for a stiff drink, then maybe to the healers... Maybe"

Graxzos Glyphkeeper |
As the last statue topples, Graxzos lets out a delighted bellow of laughter. "TIIIIIMBEEEERRRR!"
The dwarf follows along with the others as Nigel shows them out of the Museum, but he seems unimpressed by the offerings. "Bah! This pistol's a sight better'n any pointy stick, thank ye all the same." As the group prepares to split up, he salutes the others. "Job well done, folks! Carrot-top, Scaly, Scaly 2, Scaly 3, 'twas a pleasure. As for you," he adds to Callan, "think I'll be joinin' you fer that drink, if I may!"
Thanks for playing, everyone!
Jiggo Maelerant |
"Carrot...top? Oh, you mean my hair! Haha! I need to wash this thing before I go to work. Thanks for the reminder."
Callan Domhnall |
"Absolutely, offer extended to the lot of you, until the coin or lies run out!"
Thanks all!
