626 sighs in profound annoyance. You sure are cryptic. Fine. I'm called 626. I have other names, but you don't want to know those. Here's how this is going to work. You are going to tell me who you are, who you work for, what exactly you do, who he is, who he works for, and any other details pertinent to this situation in which we find ourselfves or I'm just going to let this bubble of mine go and you can explain to whoever you called that you have failed again because you looked a gift horse in the mouth...
bluff. He isn't going to let that guy go before they've had a chat too: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30
He then telepathically prods his two companions, checking to see if they could receive telepathic messages.

Hypatia reacts with mild surprise to 626s mental probe.
Interesting. You too? I wonder if this bears some relation to why we were all brought here she responds mentally. Dapper Guy certainly seems like a wizard. I'm trying to get more on Brick now.
Still have detect thoughts running and as stated earlier trying to read the surface thoughts of Brick. Might have caught some during the conversation if I switched target in time?

626 |

626 almost betrays his relief on his face, but the current staring contest needed to be won, so he maintains his threat. He does sigh in relief mentally. *Phew* Thank goodness. This will make things much easier.
Good to know Dapper is a wizard. He'll be ready when my spell fails, so we should be too. That would also make Brick tough and possibly resistant to magic, as his name implies. This could get messy.

Vrog Skyreaver |

"As I said, my name is Brick. I'm working for a corporation who provides Adventurer security to people that can afford to pay it. I don't know what the other guy's name is, I just know that he is our best suspect in a string of jewelry thefts, most of which are weird."
He seems to be telling the truth, as his surface thoughts and his words are pretty much the same thing, except that he uses much more 'colorful' language in his head.

Hypatia Kuningatar |

"I can't get rid of it. We could possibly try bluffing him into turning himself in. Threaten to blanket the area inside the cloud with fire unless he dispels it?"

S¡m¡lé |

"I'm afraid I can't do anything about the mist. I may be able to force his friendship - though I expect if he's some sort of wizard he'll have defences against such a ploy."

626 |

I had forgotten that it was illegal not to join. And 626 wouldn't care. :P
Then I hope you guys can see in the dark. He says, including Brick in the comment. Ok, it's worth a try. I will do the same. Hopefully one of our spells sticks. If not I'll try to take him down without cutting off anything important and I would appreciate it if I wasn't alone in there. Oh, a word of warning, it's going to get dark when this goes down. If you can't see in the dark please don't get in the way. 626 strides into the fog toward the wizard and, once he's out of sight of the outside, ignites his blade. It drinks in all light in the area to power itself, plunging the cloud into darkness and turning it into more of a thunderhead of doom when viewed from outside.
Inside he waits for his companions. Hopefully that lady choose wisely and brought him people that didn't mind a lack of light.

Simile follows, darkness doesn't bother her in the slightest.

Hypatia Kuningatar |

Hypatia also follows, likewise she has no problems with seeing in the dark

I'm going to assume that he was readying an action for the bubble to drop. and then if you can still do so, he'll save against your Dominate Person.
As the bubble disappears with an slightly audible pop, There are the sounds of a spell being cast.
Suddenly you can see a floating field of...some sort of wall, in the shape of an massive hand, fingers pointed skyward. The hand flies towards you and then attempts to pick you up like a child might pick up a toy.
Strength (Athletics) vs. your choice of Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 201d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21 Looks like the DC you will need to reach will be 21. The wizard also seems to be unaffected by both darkness and the fog.

Vrog Skyreaver |

Sorry, meant to come back to this and finish my descriptive post.
Those of you who are near 626 see him get grappled by....something not visible. Though it has not started to do so, it looks like it will begin crushing him next round if he does not escape.

"Hold off your attacks, put my friend down, and let us speak like civilised beings." Simile speaks with a power behind her voice, subtle telepathic messages to try and force the "Wizard" to listen to her.
Charm Person may not be immediate enough, and I don't have Dominate... so Suggestion - DC 18 Wis Save, or pursue to course of action described.
