"Was she poisoned?" a small amount of concern can be detected in his voice.

He takes a look around and then relax a bit, putting his shield on his back:

The auburn haired girl curses quite loudly in several dialects, clutching onto her shoulder as she glares at the now dead wyrm, cleaved by the paladin's blade and scorched by the sorceress' flame. Lex finally stops her tirade once Nev makes his offer of healing, looking at him.

"...My opinion of you has vastly changed," She comments, rolling the now healed shoulder - she's even feeling warmer and less tired now, though there's still a couple of holes in her coat. "I thought you were probably a stuffy noble jerk, but you're all right."

She glances over at Grimkell and the others, before clearing her throat. "Right, so - freshly healed, so if you're going looking to see if this one has a little treasure trove, can we please hurry it up before the cold seeps into my bones again?" What she wouldn't give for a potion of endure elements right now...

Fun fact, you heal the same amount of NL damage as real damage from any healing magic. So hooray for no more fatigue!


The skald looks looks up and down at the magus. Seeming satisfied with here state of health he takes a step back. As he noticed her glare on him, an air of surprise passes over his face, then his expression becomes more stern.

"Good improvement on the attitude since we met in Heldren."

Turning toward the others:"We should get going, not need to find its lair now... what could it possess?"

Grimkell turns around, going the the track and waiting for all to fall in line.

Lex, love your status. Grimkell might want to leave now, but it seems really weird to me that the thieves were not attacked by the creature.

The longer we're out in this weather, the more likely the rest of you will freeze to death. I really don't want to chase these people down by myself, so we should hurry it up a bit."

I have constant endure elements (cold), so not going to make a save there.

"OW! What the...!" Nev turns around as he feels a prick of cold in his shoulder.

"They're hiding behind the trees!" He points at the evil little buggers, casts a spell, and runs toward them.

Turning around and seeing the creatures:

"Stop bothering us feys, got back into the depth of the woods". He repeats the same in skald.

The skald pulls out a bow from behind his back, he cocks an arrow and shoots over Nev's shoulder at one of the creatures.

"Hopefully, the shot is taken before Nev reaches them to avoid melee issues, otherwise, try to shoot at one that is not in melee with Nev"

She hisses, seething and really mad. "That is it! I've had it with this unseasonal weather and ambushes!" She shouts, heading over by Nev and preparing a spell.

She's fatigued, which is terrible. Readying an action to cast Color Spray should more than one sprite get within range of her 15ft cone, DC 13.

Not liking something striking her, Karyne waves her hands, one left to right, the other up and down and then makes a few more motions as she says a few words in Sylvan and a aura appears around her: Mage Armor.

Elxurian's bolt misses the diminutive creature. It laughs at you and sticks out its little tongue. Grimkell, however hits the little thing, but it doesnt seem to hurt it. In fact, it bounces off is incredibly tiny body harmlessly.

Llyr fires his crossbow at one of the ones harassing Nev, but not in melee, hoping to drive it from the skies. Then, he locks another bolt in place and resumes aiming at the Fae.

"Oh, you're all just starting to tick me off," Lex growls, the magus twirling the cold iron spear in her hand. "Tuo!" She shouts, a faint hue of magic coming from the tip of her weapon. She heads towards the one that just struck with its tiny bow, thrusting her enhanced weapon at it while shouting back at the others.

"Did you all forget?! Cold iron, you fools!"

Swift action to use 1 arcane pool point to enhance her weapon (3/4 remaining); move action to get to the sprite.

Cold Iron spear attack: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 2 + 1 = 13
Damage on hit: 1d6 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 2 + 1 = 8

Honestly, without a map I can't use any of my roguish tricks. Also fighting ranged/flying foes when we are at constant difficult terrain means we should never get into melee range. We can't charge, and as long as they stay outside of 30' we're reliant on ranged damage and out lasting them.

Llyr watches as one of his companions dashes out after a Fae. "Try not to get surrounded! he calls out after her.


Seeing his aim blocked by Nev and Lex, Grimkell drops down his bow. Wadding through the snow toward the remaining creature, he let's out a terrible warcry, his eyes staring at the creatures with murderous intent.

"ahhhHHHHH! Follow your friend to the netherworld!"

Demoralize:
You can use this skill to cause an opponent to become shaken for a number of rounds. The DC of this check is equal to 10 + the target's Hit Dice + the target's Wisdom modifier. If you are successful, the target is shaken for 1 round. This duration increases by 1 round for every 5 by which you beat the DC.
A shaken character takes a –2 penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks.

El you can see one, you hit it for 2 damage. Llyr hit as well, 2 damage. You all are able to see the one that tried to color spray Nev. Nev killed one. So two left. They are demoralized. so Next round they will have the penalties.
Llyr, Im not using a map because this combat is very simple. It wont take you guys very long to kill these. Big combats I'll always have one up, but this is just an annoyance. And you did hit them. They can only do 1 point of damage. There isnt much threat from these creatures. I know that rogues are a very movement based class, especially scouts, but you will have a ton of opportunities to crush skulls from behind. :) Promise!!
The one you both can see is 15 feet away from the BACK of Nev, meaning 15 feet closer to y'all. The archer that some of you cant see is 15 feet to the left of Nev.


The demoralize is on the one shooting at Nev.

Llyr watches the remaining sprite flee from the group, knowing that it's sure to run home to its masters and tell them everything. Hopefully, a large part of that will be how they were handily dispatched. "Well, that could have been worse. Well done. Has anyone seen these things dangling from the trees, disturbing to say the least."


Grimkell walks in the direction of the fleeing sprite. He stops at some distance, trying to retrieve his arrow and the bolts that Elxurian and Llyr shot. Shaking his head he comes back.

No magic fetishes here! You do find on the bodies of the two sprites tiny tiny shortbow, a short short short sword, with 20 arrows, and in the trees attached to the fetishes is 14 gp.
Looks like the fetishes were just some sick games the sprites were playing with the poor crows that flew through their part of the wood. Seems as though they were trying to make an example of these poor crows to scare off the other crows. The other crows don't appreciate it very much, but they fly in their murder wherever they please.
