Hmmmmm.
So, after doing a bit of looking, it sounds like the the Conjuration sphere has actually seen a lot of changes between the official release copy and the version I have. It was apparently way too strong and got changed a lot. In light of this, I think I'd rather change the Sphere he's focused in (currently trying to decide between Death and Destruction). Conjuration fits him better, but without knowing exactly what changed and how, I don't feel comfortable bringing it into a game.
(Decided to go for the Death sphere, and have updated my sheet to match.)
Okay, I'm a bad person. I decided to change from Thaumaturge to Soul Weaver, which really fits Xoruk's new leanings towards death magic much better. I've updated the google doc, so you can take a look at it.
Really all that changed is that Xoruk will be communing with both devils AND spirits, and will use that to reanimate the dead.
I am like 85% sure Xoruk is now actually 100% to go this time. >_<
I also saw only two people have dotted recruitment. Has everyone else did one of the 'invisidots'?
What are these invisidots of which you speak?
You can dot in a thread then delete it so that it shows up in your campaign tab but your post doesn't show up in the thread. We need to get the other two players (you being one of them) to dot in gameplay.

Oh man, I forgot I wanted to do that for Soren, too. Since she was partially arrested on heresy, I assume they'd have wanted to check her to see if she was ill, to see if she could once again become a loving Mitran.
Give you one guess how well that turned out. Also, does Nathaniel still worship Hastur? That could be interesting, and I kind of doubt he'd care much about dividing his worship.
So, when are we planning on getting this show up and running?
Tonight! :) The recent storms that blew through the East Coast downed the servers at out local Charter, so I have been without the Internet until today.
Ah, makes sense. I got a lot of storms here too, but thankfully I didn't lose internet or anything.

Indeed I am. I am just reading along and patiently waiting for the GM to introduce me! We worked out that Nathanial was being held elsewhere, mostly because of his mental instability but also because we didn't want me just popping into existence with no explanation.
Okay, we're waiting on the DM? Fair enough, then.
I think his internet may have gone down again. I looked into it, and his service provider has a lot of outages, and they're pretty huge. It's likely he got caught in another one. At least, that's what I'm hoping.
I sent a PM this morning explaining things, but I will explain them here. A buddy of mine was wrongly arrested based on false accusations and I had volunteered to serve as his acting attorney until he could get an actual one, since I have some experience with the justice system on a collegiate level. I finally found him an actual defense lawyer, who will be coming in from Atlanta soon. I apologize for my absences and I will try to post within 2-3 days.

So, my laptop may need to be replaced, and since I mostly post from it, my posting may be a little erratic once we start up again. I do have a desktop, but I'll be headed back to university soon and depending on whether or not I have the replacement, I won't be able to post.

Just a note: I'm starting student teaching tomorrow, but all it means is that I will have to post during the weekends/evenings.
I just had surgery. Nothing life threatening, but I'm going to be in a lot of pain and on a lot of drugs the next week. Please DMPC as necessary.
Well... it's been over a week since we least heard from him, and even when we did, we didn't get any gameplay posts... should we go looking for another GM, or what?
Nope. I'm thinking I'll put up a post in Recruitment calling for a new GM, mentioning that it's possible the previous one might show up. Hopefully we can find someone.
*Sigh* I suppose so. Although I highly doubt my character is going to be allowed to play.
You never know. If we don't get a taker, we can always hedge our bets and wait. I'll specify we'd rather not change our characters, though.
