Even if Rose managed to catch something fast acting and debilitating, I don't think that Rose could sleep with enough people to put a serious dent in the soldier population.

I was thinking we just give them all a nasty case of botulism. Food poisoning is cheap and easy. It's hard to fight when you're emptying your guts from both ends.

I was thinking something that could be spread just by shaking hands. Go visit the Commander and take a tour of Balentyne, shaking as many hands as possible. Food poisoning should work, though.

I think the base building of the second book does slowly things down. So much stuff to do, especially on a PbP

Not my style, sadly. I don't especially like Cheliax and the House of Thrune. The Hellknights are cool, but the rest of the political stuff makes me roll my eyes.

I much prefer the WotW setup where the villains are the infiltrators, rather than the enforcement/occupation arm of a tyrannical regime.

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and assume when they vanish from the boards without a word it means something significant has happened. The last word from the GM was that they were dealing with a death. That's a pretty big deal and can take a while before things feel normal enough for hobbies again.

If the game dies, it dies. It's sad, but I don't know if I'd call it rude. No one owes us a game. Mostly situations like this just make me worried for the person who's disappeared.

He does seem to have posted to other games after going dark on us. I understand a game dying. I've done it myself. But you should say something about this rather than letting people just guess.

I've had a gamemaster have a serious accident that left her with brain damage and no memory of our game. I found out about this later from another person.

Our GM posted in another game on June 2nd saying they were very slowly getting games going one at a time. No word since then, but they are dealing with a death that I gather was significant and threw a lot of life issues into turmoil. I know that getting life back to the point where there's both time and creative energy for hobbies can be a very long process. I'm willing to wait as long as it takes, personally.
