Jack nods at Dieredon and replies, "Well den, lets be about it."

Unless somebody objects, Jack uses some of the split blood to make the crew look worse than they where. Obviously some of this would wash off on the way back, but if they rested here a bit, enough would dry and clot to make his point on their return. All that would be needed aboard the ship was a few winces and limps, nothing too much, rather as if they were putting a brave face on it.

You are in fact supposed to swim back. Same as before, you make a DC 10 STR (athletics) check to swim back. Fail and you can try again. Fail that role and you still make it but you need to make a DC 15 CON saving throw to avoid taking a level of fatigue.

Jack does his best to haul their prize with him, back to the boat. Being ever so slightly foolhardy, Jack tried to swim back with two crab-pots at the same time. He would have taken all four but he only had two hands...

Swimming that way was not easy, and Jack started to get dragged under by the weight. That just made him kick all the harder, he came into the world kicking and screaming and he figured that's they way he'd probably leave it.

Okay, if you guys want to try your plan to play up being injured, I'll need some RP along with CHA (deception) or (performance) rolls, whichever you got higher. Unfortunately the bard is in a bad way, so maybe you want to take this to the discussion tab to see if you're still good to try it.

Sorry for the short post, but I kinda need to see what you guys do.

Grok thinks it over for a moment before she simply hands the fiddle, case and all, to Dieredon.

"You done a good thing for me pal, Fishguts. He's almost back to his old self. Take it as a gift. I'll cover the cost of it out of me own wages."

Received: 1 fiddle. :-)

Jack regards the fiddle as Grok hands it over and remarks, "Tis a fine thing. I rekon she'll be tickled pink." He winks at Dieredon and saunters out. If it had been a town, no doubt Jack would be looking for trouble. But they where on the ship, and it paid to mind your p's and q's with so many around, so Jack simply watched the swell of the sea as he waited for the other press ganged to conclude their business.

Indeed.

The Press-ganged spend the rest of their day getting some rest.

Not enough to shave off an exhaustion level though.

Dinner comes, and it's a relatively simple affair of fish stew again, although, it still is a better overall quality than Fishguts first put out. The Press-ganged discovered that the crab and reefclaw all went to the Captain and his officers who are eating like kings this night.

Rosie is actually a fighter. So sadly no inspiration. But still...

Rosie squeals in delight and hugs Treggor. She then tunes her fiddle like a seasoned professional, and very soon is playing a lively and familiar tune. Mad Jack can't resist tossing in the lyrics with his his rich baritone. The song is infectious and some of the other crew pick it up as well.

Feeling in a good mood, Treggor grabs Badger and gets her to dance a lively jig with him.

[ooc]Rosie is officially an ally. And Treggor and Mad Jack get advantage on Charisma checks with crew members who aren't hostile to them tomorrow.

Ah, time travel wackiness. My favorite kind of wackiness. So Day 12 and 13. You succeed at your normal jobs during this time. So just narrate what wackiness you get up to, and make any checks you think appropriate. I might roll for you, if I deem it necessary, but otherwise have fun you scurvy sea dogs.

If you do well, I may be inclined to give you shinies. Perhaps. Maybe.

I accept bribes.
