About 2; one round of hitting with hammer and pick; one to pull the stones down and tear the wood and plaster; stuff is not very tough.
Fox of Silver wrote:How many rounds did it take them to tear the wall down? Assuming I'm still blinded, I'll be wherever Durr put me before he started swinging that pick -- probably back with Llvenoc.
OK, with two rounds, she would be blinking the stars out of her eyes and less dependent on Durr. She will rush to Llvenoc and (in the mindlink) say, "Llvenoc, I will take your hand. Let me lead you through the sand before it's too deep to cross," on round three.
Astinos
"I am confused; did you not ask us to work with you Kosan; and for Goodman Caer to "get through the wall?" and us to help?
"It was a risk my love, one with too high a cost, which we must now escape before we are all buried."
Llvenoc
In the mindlink. Has anyone bothered to look to see if there is anything behind the sand? Or are we all going to just run around like a bunch of new born spiders? Another five minutes isn't going to hurt anyone. Dom could you take a look and give your expert opinion?
Still in the Mindlink Decidio, June; Your assistance greatly speeded up a decision for us. Glad you took the initiative.
Astinos
"That is exactly my point, we have no idea how much sand it contains, yet the wall was broken. As for being buried, there is no need to be frightened, but it would be an unpleasant experience....not to mention an inefficient use of limited time and resources."
Astinos smiles warmly, and those within 10ft of him feel a wave of reassurance emanating from the Paladin.
+4 saves veres fear from aura, figure it feels safe standing next to him

Grateful for the mental link, which help prevent a complete sense of panic while he is deafened, Kemnebi shakes his head trying to get it to stop ringing while he steps cautiously away from the downpour of sand.
'Not at all ladies, you did splendidly. IF anything, perhaps you were actually TOO efficient!' Kemnebi sends through the link with a feeling of warmth and humor, just as the ringing in his ears becomes bearable, and finally starts to fade.
'With any luck, anyone we may have alerted with our little fireworks display may think that we're buried underneath all of that, and waste time trying to find us in there! And we don;t have to worry about anyone sneaking up behind us now. But unless that sand runs out REAL soon, and reveals another passage, we should probably make kitty tracks!'
There's a joke in here somewhere about kitty litter, but I ain't gonna touch it! ;)

The catfolk have been lead forward twice, the dark elf has been lead forward three times. The halfling mage regained her sight and came across on her own and might have been lead forward before retroactive continuity kicked in. Not sure where the NPCs are standing, but it's been made clear in the minklink that everyone should be on the forward side of the sandbox.

ok; everyone is on the same side of the sand towards where the swarm came from; the sand still flows behind you covering any tracks as well as the sword. The party of course has sand everywhere; in their hair; boots; every nook and crany so to speak.
Before you is the hall; about 20 ft in front is an intersection that takes a right; the main hall keeps going.
in that intersection is the marker that changes from those in Zues' faithful slumber to Hecate's.

In the mind link: Caerwyn you are point take the turn ahead. Every one follow in usual formation. With the exception of Fox and Durr who are to go back with Llevonic until her recovers then go back with the casters. Lest go.
Hammer/axe and shield prepared. we move out.

I put away my swords and lead the way once again, following the path I had previously scouted.

Ok; the party continues on, crossing the intersection and into a bubble of power that percalates with the evil realm of Hecate's dead in restless slumber.
The evil of the place washes over you like filthy oil; yet you proceed; it will take a turn or so to move down the hallway; so any sight or deafness will return.
what if anything is the party currently using as a light source; and is there anything else special that is going on or put up like defenses that I should know about?
Llvenoc
I breathe a sigh of relief that my vision has returned. Retaking my position as rearguard of the group. Nodding to Fox, and her bodyguard. My sight sharp and ready til the next time I am blinded. Other than eating my garlic clove. I would offer up a silent deprecation to my Patron. I find solace knowing everything will finally come to a culmination. That soon we will either succeed saving the Earth Godess; or our bones will be ground to dust.

Kemnebi looks to make sure that he hasn't forgotten anything. He pulls out a small pinch from his component pouch, and swiftly casts a spell, casting his pinch of reflective flakes into the air. The tiny flakes sparkle as they surround him, and coalesce around his body, giving a brief flash before fading to an almost invisible field surrounding him.
Cast Mage Armor
Taking a deep breath, he grins at June up ahead, and gives what is meant to be a reassuring smile to Nebibit. (It looks more like he ate something that didn't agree with him.) His staff at the ready, he marches along with the others, walking softly on feline toes,...

What is the duration please?

We are ending this section of the adventure; we did the Gathering at the Oracle; the Road to Necropolis, The War of Bones <battle in and around the city on the surface> Into the Underworld, The Crypts of Restlessness, which ends all the preliminaries.
We now start Incursion of Snakes, and the main scenario.
I am pretty sure the last time I gave exps was Into the Underworld; so for the section Crypts of Restlessness everyone get 2000 exps for avoiding a whole lot of violence; not disturbing the dead; and staying to the goal; while it is true that you would gain exp and perhaps equipment entering the crypts; that was not the goal and I want to reward all of you for avoiding unecessary violence; keeping to the scenario of the pressing time limit, good in character game play and the like.

Thank You for the kind words.

Back sooner than expected. And for the kind words, *bow* you are too kind, I merely follow the lead of some excellent players. Thanks for allowing me to come along, all!
Val:
For that matter, I don't know what the level progression is, so I also don't know how many exp would take her to the next level.

Ok; the party continues on down the dark, forboding hallway. The eerie feeling of thousands of eyes upon you has the hair standing up on the back of your need; just sheer creepiness mixed with palatable evil seeping from the wall that hold the tombs herein.
Suddenly; there is the drumming of hundreds of tiny feet and a swarm of Razorclaws; tiny 1-1.5 feet tall magical velociraptors rush from the end of the hall swarming up the sides of the walls and covering the floor like a reptilian carpet.
These near silent, speedy, cold blooded flesh eaters is upon you; roll inits.
Valegrim
Kemnebi; roll percentile please.
Init:
1d20+5Kemnebi blinks at Astinos' shout and looks around confusedly, completely surprised by the sudden attack of the reptilian swarm.
"Holy Horus!" Is all he time to blurt before the tide is upon them.

Swarms ignore normal rules for movement and attacks. This is the last swarm (probably unless you guys to something unexpected) and a little one which is really more of an irritation than a challenge, so while this ability doesn't work against this enemy, it should be very effective in the comming fights.
Bulwark is a passive effect so it works even when it's not ASTINOS' turn as yet.
