Going back to the dining room she sits back down at the table with Thorgr, "Ms. Corrie...do you think I could have another cup of tea please?" She asks as she takes Thorgr's hand under the table and gives it a gentle squeeze.
Frostine
Looking around the table she takes a deep breath, "Well...I've been feeling kinda blah and my eating habits have been kinda sporadic, so we had Dan take a look at me to see if I was coming down with an illness or something." Looking at Corrie she gives her a smile, "No thanks Ms. Corrie....I think I'll just stick to the tea for now."
Sigrdrífa Helmsdottir
Giving Jerrica a kiss on the cheek as she brings back their food and sits beside her, Sig takes a bite as she looks over at Frostine. "Okay, did he find anything?"
Frostine
Taking another deep breath and preparing herself for whatever responses she might get from the others she looks up as Sig sits down with the rest of them and starts eating. Taking a sip of tea to calm her nerves she takes one more breath and says, "Well....I'm not sick or anything, I'm just...pregnant."

The skald's eyes widen for a moment, her gaze shifting over to Thorg, studying his expression.

Seeing Sig's expression she says, "Oh....don't worry. I'm not having the baby right now, it's gonna take about nine months I'm told. So....that should plenty of time to take care of the things we need to do here right?" Sig and everyone else at the table can tell she's not joking. Her tone and body language suggest that she's being completely honest with them.
Sigrdrífa Helmsdottir
Tilting her head to the side slightly she looks back at Frostine. "So you're told?....I.....congratulations you two!" she says with a warm smile. "I....think we might need to talk at some point."
Frostine
She blushes slightly as she lets out a sigh of relief, "Thanks Sig.....yeah....Thorgr suggested I talk to you after Dan had to explain what being pregnant meant...well....he told me I was having a baby and I kinda freaked out and was like, "Right now?!" and that's when he explained about the nine months thing. See?"
Frostine
She smiles as she nods, "Yup...this baby is gonna have some great aunts."
Frostine takes Thorgr's hand and gives it a supportive squeeze as she looks up at him, her expression full of love for this one man that meant so much to her. Looking back at the others she says, "We were already talking about having a family together some day....maybe a pet Dragon, or a dog....whichever we came across first. It just....it happened a little sooner than we were expecting it to.....but we're happy about it. Maybe a little nervous too, but that's only because I don't know anything yet." She says quite simply.
Frostine
Looking at the others at the table she says, "Of course you guys are included in that too. I think this baby is very lucky to have such an awesome group of Aunts and Uncles." Turning her head to look at Corrie she says, "Ms. Corrie....I would be deeply honored and just love it if....if you would be okay with being our baby's Godmother." She says while starting to feel a little emotional about it.
"If you need time to think about it that's okay. We can talk about it some more after we rescue those kids. I promise I'll try to eat better for lunch too." Corrie meant so much more to her than she realized at first, but this was Corrie's decision.
Frostine
Getting up from her seat she goes to Corrie and gives her a hug, "Thank you....that makes me so happy." Looking at Ishamel she says, "It's your choice....but....don't be so quick to discount yourself, people change."
Sigrdrífa Helmsdottir
"Well we can defintely take care of the not knowing things part. As soon as we all get back today we'll sit and talk." Sig says with a chuckle. "It should be very...enlightening."
Frostine
Getting a curious look on her face she goes and stands behind Thorgr. Wrapping her arms around him she leans over to give him a kiss before looking at Sig and Jerrica, "Okay Sig, sure." Giving Thorgr another little squeeze she gives him her most dazzling smile before sitting back down beside him and finishing her tea while she has another biscuit.
Frostine
Finishing her tea, she takes her last bite of biscuit as she's running to get her gear. Putting on her backpack she goes outside to where Thorgr was waiting. Walking up to him she puts a hand lightly on his back, "Hey...are you really okay? You don't....seem like yourself really."
Frostine
Getting in front of him so she can look up into his face she shakes her head, "I'm sure it's nothing like that. I certainly don't see it that way. Maybe...maybe some of them just don't know how to react? I'm sure they don't mean to make you feel that way. When you got all quiet I was just....I was afraid you were having second thoughts...about me, the baby...both of us..." She trails off, not sure of what to say to reassure him at this point, but thankful that his silence wasn't because he was rethinking wanting her or their baby.
Frostine
She nods as she's held by him, "And I you, forever and ever. You're all I need....I don't have to go back to that place called home. You are my home Thorgr, wherever I am with you...I'm home."
Sigrdrífa Helmsdottir
Sig sighs as she hears Thorg's words. Maybe she'dd sit and share a drink with him later and congratulate him the way he would be back where they were from. It was just a lot to process.
"I know." she says quietly in response to Jerrica's comment.
Sigrdrífa Helmsdottir
"Yeah we really do. It's just a little disorienting that she's pregnant without even really know what's actually happening. I think Thorg wan't too thrilled with our reaction."
Sigrdrífa Helmsdottir
"Yeah, probably not what anyone who just found out they're going to be a father wants." Sig responds.
Frostine
While in his arms she rests her head against him, "Remember how we were talking before about having kids and what I told you? I still mean that....I think you're going to be a wonderful father and I can only be better than what my own mother was...even if I don't really know what I'm doing....but...does any parent really know what they're doing when they first start? It's kinda a learn as you go thing isn't it?" She asks as she starts to worry about what kind of mother she will be. She knew she had to be better than her own mother. She would never make her own child feel unwanted or unloved, no matter what. She would love them unconditionally and she felt truly blessed to be having his child. It was true that they weren't exactly prepared for this to happen so soon...but she was okay with it. As long as she and Thorgr loved each other and were together she felt there was nothing that they couldn't handle. Their friends would come around and be happy for them eventually, she was sure of it. She knew how young and ignorant she was...though it really wasn't her fault, but that's why she had friends that could help her figure out stuff and Sig seemed to know a lot about everything so with all these people in her life she would never have to deal with anything alone which made her feel much better about it in the long run.
Frostine
She nods her head while looking up at him with her sweet face, "Well..first I gotta figure out this whole pregnant thing first before we worry about the parent part. I'm sure there's stuff I need to know...but the other girls can help me figure all that out probably. Mother was never pregnant again after....after my particular abnormalities made themselves apparent. She said...she said she wouldn't risk having another child that was cursed and a blight on the family name. I heard her and father talking about it one night while I stood outside their chamber door after a bad dream I'd had. I never even went in their room...they talked about me like...like, well it doesn't matter now. Just know that I would never do that to our child for any reason. I won't ever make them feel that way, I promise I won't." She says as she leans into him and wraps her arms around him tightly as far as they'll go.
Frostine
"I know you wouldn't, you're a good man. Your mother was the problem, not you. Those things she said to you had nothing to do with you and everything to do with the fact that she was a bitter woman with nothing better to do than abuse her son. I know that we'll be okay because we have each other and good friends." She says as they stand there together.
Frostine
She nods as she looks towards the door, "I'm sure that they and Dan will be out soon....Just let me check on them real quick." She says before stretching up on her tiptoes to give him a kiss. Pulling away from him slightly she goes to the door to the cottage and pulls it open. Stepping halfway inside she calls out, "Sig....Jerrica....Dan....are you guys almost ready? We still got baddies to kill and children to save."
