GM

Mogwag, there's a problem with your post, at 20ft speed you'll only be able to reach Y25. That remaining door visible on the map isn't just for show, the bolt on Turgrim's side still hasn't been popped, only the bottom half has been opened for the team.

You can spend another move action (and keep your rolls until the end of the next round) but you cannot do both this round.

Hp 40/40 AC 19 / T 13 / FF 15 (+8 Perc, -1 Init, Fort +3 Ref +1, Will +5)

Sorry i am not at home and the firewall is preventing me from accessing the map.

So a single move and use Deflection Aura (+2 AC /CM) for all allies within 30 ft

I'm going to have to reverse the effects on Turgrim, put the Thug back and enable Mogwag's original attack. I'll clear this up next post.

As per the 'Weekend rule', this round will stretch out until Monday, OR when everybody has had a turn to act.

Additionally it seems that despite Greez not voting yet, it seems the Kobold Cleric is welcomed in, nice! I'll try to get him to introduce himself in discussion.

Why does a magic missile cost 4sp? It's a first level spell

GM

> MAJUBA: Missing Rounds <
• Yes, it's like I said in this post on page three, combat rounds are incremented on a daily basis or when every PC acts on their turn. It would be far too slow to wait for everybody to post their bit especially if they're not frequent posters. In dire situations, those who lose their turns can be made to defend themselves or move out of danger so they're not sitting ducks.

> KAROL: 1st level spells <
• Magic Missile is a 1st level spell, but the spell-point rules state that for every dice damage step beyond it's original damage, it goes up one spell level. So a 3rd level spell gaining an extra die costs +2 SP as if it were a higher level. It's so lower level spells don't end up being more cost-efficent than high level ones (Cone of Cold vs. Lightning Bolt was an example given for the original rules in the D20 SRD)

Magic Missile differs because I've house-ruled that 1st level spells are +1 SP cost, instead of +1 spell level cost. Otherwise Magic Missle 4 would cost 9SP (9 nines more expensive for four times more damage) and that's just silly. Casters are free to cast spells at their lowest potential for no extra cost than the usual spell-points.

*Scrambles onto the table so he can be visible for the discussion before straightening his clothing.*

"Right, Looks like you lot are gonna be seeing me around. Ya can blame Oneiro for that." The kobald snickers, setting his mace down as he takes a seat. "Now I ain't gonna pretend I know all the rules of this, but you all seem like a pretty neat group. Hope ya don't mind me tagging along."

*The kobald gazes upward, scanning over you all as his brows furrow*

"Yeah, ya may be a bit on the big size, but that's not gonna solve all yer problems. Sometimes ya gotta use yer head a little and check the smaller routes. I won't promise I'll be perfect, but I'm gonna try my damned hardest to have some fun with you guys."

(Eh, I was gonna post a short Hi paragraph, but I thought why not have a lil fun with it? I used to play D&D a few years back, but the lack of people wanting to play in my area meant the group disbanded. I apologise now for my lack of up to date knowledge, but I hope you guys won't mind too much if I ask questions sometime.)

GM

Alright, there's still time left, but when Monday rolls around and I next come online to check messages, I will tick the next round over for the new week.

GM

I updated the character line up recently, check it out here: Largish image

Changes include:
• Removed Draxia from line-up
I never delete/erase drawings, but if she's not in the game now there's no point keeping her in the group with the active folks. (We miss you Dergosh and Garmack)

• Added Mogwag
One of the last of the veterans to be drawn, I didn't exactly know what pose to use so I used the standard one. The face and shoulders are lifted from the avatar he uses, the rest is guesswork.

• Added Darkan
New to our game, but everybody gets to have their character drawn. Darkan is the smallest in our group at 2'8", but conveying the small amount of sassiness with the Kobold's attitude I drew him with his arms crossed in breastplate armour while looking mildly unimpressed.

• Powerful Build Turgrim
Gave Turgrim a bit of a make-over due to some nice figurines I found on Google, the largish Hobgoblin's had a growth spurt as he's now as tall as Wolfrager. Too big to be Medium and too small to be Large, he gains the Powerful-Build trait which gives him the benefits of Large but the space, reach and speed of Medium.

• Powerful Build Wolfrager
As well as renaming her 'Wolfrager' instead of 'Runt' in the last version, WR has had a wardrobe makeover with armour that looks better made (and not a torn mess) and also give her longer hair that matches her Rager personality better. Wolfrager is now a Medium-sized creature with Powerful Build.

Everything else is the same as the last version.

If you could put a drum on Karol's left hip (tom tom size I guess) and an axe in his right hand, that would be great.

GM

I'll try to remember that, I also forgot to mention I forgot to erase the old arm of Turgrim's so he kind of looks like Goro from Mortal Kombat right now.

GM

Hello again, some time has past since I last posted, I couldn't stay long because shortly after I finished I had to shut down and go stick my head in a bowl, if you catch my drift. My stomach is feeling a little off but I think I'm over the worst of it now, even typing this I don't feel nauseous or anything.

With that said I think I might be able to resume my GM duties pretty soon, although with a whole week missed out on what is essentially going to be clean-up duty on the bandits, I'm going to have to fast-track us to the end of combat as to continue with the intended story flow. Let's face it, we would have been over and done with these guys if I hadn't gotten sick and there's still a lot more important stuff to get through first.

Normally I'd try to resume the battle where we left off, but so soon after recovering from an 'please proceed to both exits' kind of illness and conducting battle phases is quite intensive work. I can always use the information gathered this round to produce better scenarios in the future.

----
Please wait for my GM post in Gameplay before proceeding directly.

I'm here, I'm sorry, I'm really overwhelmed at work (still behind at this very moment,) and when I get home I have a newborn to look after plus I'm still exhausted from my work day. Generally when I get home I've been napping/trying to sleep in between feedings and changings of my baby boy. Posting in all my campaigns - I want to get on top of things again, hopefully this Memorial Day weekend will let me do that.

It is that time of year again when things get really busy for people so it is okay.
