WT-516: Codename Sig
Despite the constructs vast knowledges gifted to him by his creators, never before had he seen such a beast. Unsure of how to combat the serpent right away, he'd see no other options for now other than to draw his blade and rush in. If like any other serpent, his lack of blood to poison and not needing to breath would make him the best candidate to keep the creatures attention. The sand would impede his ability to charge, the most he could do was wade twenty feet forward.
I take two movements since it's difficult terrain. Also, sorry for my delay, I've noticed I'm not being updated on new posts. Weird but I'll just check manually from now on

Lucius rock strikes the creature and it lets out a hiss.
With Sig now in range the creature strikes, seeking food, fangs dripping with poison. Each head strikes the wyrwood, leaving gashes along his body.

Analysis: Carapace damage only minor. Repairs in progress, he declared as he faced off with the beast, approaching closer with his weapon at the ready. Channeling the strange power that had recently grown, he could feel his broken parts beginning to come back together and mend themselves. Meanwhile though, he'd approach and swing at his target.

Spend a mythic point as a swift action to trigger Fast Healing. First round of 5 HP brings me to 44 and 6 mythic points

The barrage of attacks leveled against it bring the creature low, both heads flopping to the sand with a dull thud. The creatures shudders for a moment, then lies still.
A quick search of the area uncovers a chain shirt of high quality make, a few bones remains of the victim that was wearing it. Whatever other belongings the creature may have had have long since rotted away.
A single passage leads from the large chamber, the slow echoing drip of water coming from that direction.
Sindri Quarrysson
"Now I might be crazy, but doesn't this feel like a trap. I don't like this." Said Sindri as he followed his companions further inwards.
WT-516: Codename Sig
As his body repaired itself, the automaton would follow his companions, having no need for the armor as well as it matched his own. He would cast detect magic upon it though, looking to identify if it was more potent than his own as they walked. He'd choose to remain silent though, not wishing for his loud, monotone voice to attract more enemies to them.

Sindri will look up at Lucius."Like a Derro, think of me as our mad dog, our wild card, but I've got your back." Winking at Lucius.
Sindri will move in front of the rest of the party," as long as we're underground, let me guide us. The stone sharpens my eyes."
GM Ascension
Sig notes the chain shirt as magical, but is unable to determine the exact nature of it.
The passage on the far side soon gives way to natural cavern, the walls slightly moist, and an occasional drip of water can heard, and soon the sound of running water. Sindri rounds a bend, scouting a head, to see a mass of webs filling the passage.
Sindri Quarrysson
Whispering into his ring, connecting to the other wearer, "running water lots of spiders webs."

Survival check to make fire, put on arrow and shooting them?
Sindri break a couple of his arrows to make some tinder, rubbing sticks together to make a small fire.

Wrapping some cloth around the arrows, he fires two flaming arrows into the webs.

Lucius Coriarum
Actually my kinetic blasts work fine against swarms, so the fire talk was just for effect. If we do see a swarm, I will just blast away.
Before Sindri finishes his preparations Lucius pipes up "I do have some alchemists fire if you prefer that. "
Sindri Quarrysson
"Let's save the alchemist fire for whatever we piss off, it's not going to be happy with us. Lucius if need be, throw one at me. With this magical cloak I become invisible at a small price." Chimed Sindri.

It takes a moment to get the webs burning as they are slightly damp, and it requires constantly reapplying the flames to keep burning a path, but soon the group is progressing down the passage again.
Frequently the corpse of a rat or fish drops to the ground as the webs holding them burn away.
It slopes slightly downward and after 50' an underground brook bubbles along the at the side of the passage floor. The passage twists and turns, and numerous narrow cracks and holes appear at intervals.
Rounding another bend Sindri can see half a dozen large spiders skittering about in the webbing. With clicking mandibles they begin scooting away from the flames, climbing into the side pockets and cracks.
You may all take a single standard action surprise round.

Sindri fires a stray arrow at a spider.

Now deeper into the tunnel with his companions, the construct would watch his allies launch their assault at the next group of predatorial creatures they had stumbled across. Not wishing to take anymore risks and figuring they'd have enough time with it, the automaton would call upon a Blessing. As he did though, he could feel a tug at the power within him, feeling as if his goddess had answered more potently than usual.
Sorry for my absence. Work been ceasy and everytime I meant to I forgot lol. I cast Mythic Bless. +1 morale bonus on attack, weapon damage, and all saving throws. Once during the spell's duration, can roll an attack roll or saving throw twice and take the better. Must decide to use this ability before the first roll is attempted.

Silas burns a nice clean hole through the webbing, down the passage, but misses his intended target, while Sindri leaves an arrow sticking out of one of the hairy bodies.
Party is up, full round action.

Sindri focuses his volley on one spider, trying to kill it as quickly as possible.

I'm not sure how far they're, if they're further than 60ft away, take away my sneak attack damage. Also if they're further than 30ft, take off 2 damage.
WT-516: Codename Sig
With his magic cast, Sig would join the fight as well, feeling a rush he has never felt in his life before. He couldn't know he was fighting excitement from combat for the first time in his life.

Lucius crushes one spider with a flung stone.
Sindri lands a second arrow in the first spider he attacked, dropping it to the ground dead, then striking a second spider with another.
Sig, charging forward cuts another in two.
A fourth is taken out by Silas, the legs shriveling up on itself as the creature turns to ash.
The remaining five scuttle out of sight.
Party is up again.
Sindri Quarrysson
Stomping his little foot on the ground,"Shit, they got away. Alright everyone group up, we're in their territory now. Groaned Sindri.
As huddled up to the group he mutters under his breath,"It's just like back home, hope there aren't any driders."

Continuing deeper into the earth, burning away webs, the passage widens into a cavern. The webbing here gets thicker limiting vision to 30'.
Other sources of underground water must be joining the stream as it becomes wider, deeper, and more turbulent. The water rushing with greater velocity.
The webbing begins to shake an enormous spider comes scuttling along the webbing towards the group. The creature is huge, large enough it looks like it could devour a horse.
This is an ogre spider. Physically strong, quite quick, and highly poisonous.
At the same time, several of the small spiders that had taken shelter in the nooks and crannies earlier emerge behind the group.
Huge Spider Init: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
Giant Spiders Init: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Everyone roll init. Anyone beating the 18 can go. Getting to the huge spider without a ranged weapon risks getting caught in the webbing.

"As I live and breathe, I do believe that's what the naturalists call an ogre spider. I seem to recall that they've got a nasty, venomous bite. So, try not to get bit."
Silas casts raises his left hand, his fingers making an arcane sign and a disk of force ringed with glowing runes appears between him and the air between him and the spiders.

Seeing the huge creature, Sigfried would ready his sword and buckler, feeling the magic of his earlier blessing still empowering himself and the group.
Im pretty sure 3 minutes shouldn't have passed yet after chasing these spiders.
