Rhadaya stands behind her wife, rubbing her shoulders as she tries to deal with the effects of the alcohol and whatever else was affecting people. The sorceress lens forward to kiss the back of Tes' neck generating a cool mist there.
Chalandra adjusted her dress, clearly uncomfortable in the scarlet chiffon. "Why do I have to wear this, Drago?"
The man she addresses as Drago is the man Sadhana knows as Zaudejis. Wearing a dark suit, he shakes his head. "Because we're trying to fit in here. Isenci is a man of means and sees that we live in comfort. That means hobnobbing with the affluent and those in power here. People tend to look the other way at rich people's indiscretions, which we will probably commit many. One wrong move and we could have a zealous mob at our door."
"We could live in solitude," Chalandra says, putting on a gold necklace that hung low enough to bring attention to her ample bosom. "It's better than dealing with...people."
Zaudejis sighs. "You haven't been a vampire for very long to realize that our transformation doesn't instantly strip away the desire for companionship and socialization."
"There is nothing good in people," Chalandra mutters.
Zaudejis goes to her and puts his hand to her face. "Just because you've had bad experiences in your life doesn't mean that all people are bad."
Chalandra looks into his eyes. "We are monsters, Drago, trying to blend in with a world that isn't ours anymore."
Zaudejis pulls back. "Only if you want to be. Chalandra, you've caught my eye...but...I know what you do behind closed doors. Please, give it up. Follow Sarenrae and find peace. It's all I want for you."
Chalandra shakes her head. "We are abominations in her eye. I will not ask you to follow me into the darkness, but I will not follow you into a false light."
Disappointed, Zaudejis goes to the door. "Come on. The music is starting."
Sādhanā sighs as the vision fades. At least Zaudejis managed to walk away from the darkness, as did three of Chalandra's children that they knew of. Moreover, it seemed that Drago's (their Drago) mother could be added to the list of things that were no longer issues, at least not a looming threat like before.
She considers the alleyway where the mask had seems drawn, but thinks better of it, instead heading back to the tavern, taking flight to cover ground more quickly.
"There's definitely another necromancer in town. The presence of two masks in close proximity was creating disturbances and affecting people negatively. Chalandra's mask was being drawn toward the other one, so I destroyed it rather than risk them combining someone having access to two of them." Sādhanā answers as she lands. "How's everyone here?"
"Once the control was blocked they went back to normal." Celia adds. "Though I wonder if there was any truth to any of it. I kind of want to make sure none of the supposed victims were actually killed or harmed."
"Agreed!" Sādhanā replies turning to face Mirrin. "If it is, we'll deal with it. You're not alone, none of us are." she says resting a hand on the other anizari's shoulder.

Tesia sighs and finally lifts her head up off the table. Giving her wife a grateful smile she says, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to react the way I did. There's just....it's been one crazy thing after another. I will try to do a better job of keeping myself under control. If you want me to go with you, I will....otherwise I'll just wait here. I promise not to cause any more trouble." She finishes a little more quietly.

Tesia just sighs as she lays a few gold on the table and follows the others. Apparently she couldn't do or say anything right, so she wouldn't say or do anything unless someone else told her to do it. Maybe it would just be easier if she just remained silent from now on and didn't have an opinion about anything. Tesia wasn't really sure of anything anymore, other than she just seemed to keep upsetting people. Maybe she really was just paranoid like Sadhana said.
Tesia shakes her head to try and clear it of all the negative thoughts running through her mind, but how else was she supposed to feel when people kept treating her like she was just stupid or crazy?
As they head out of the Tavern, Tesia transforms into a dire wolf without even really thinking about it. At least this way she wouldn't have to worry about upsetting anyone with her stupid opinions, and they wouldn't be able to see the look on her face at feeling stupid and useless.
She looks up at Rhy and rubs against her gently as they walk. She hadn't meant to worry or upset her wife, but somehow she just kept doing everything wrong.
Rhadaya runs her fingers through Tes' fur, whispering softly to her. Her wife was going through so much right now, she just needed to help her keep it together until they had some time alone to talk.

Tesia just stays next to her wife, leaning her big wolf head into Rhy's hand as her wife's fingers move through her fur. Her softly whispered words of love and comfort calming her mind and heart. She knew Rhy would always be there for her.
Most of her attention focused on her wife, Rhadaya looks up at Mirrin's question, noting Sādhanā's response. Quiet entry was something she'd been a part of countless times.
With a whispered incantation, the sorceress conjures as low mist that slowly rolls through the streets around the shop and the surrounding area.
That done, she squats down beside Tes, wrapping her arms around her in her powerful wolf form.

Tesia moves slowly and carefully into the shop. She was careful in her form not to knock anyone, or anything over as she used all her senses to survey the scene.
Sādhanā scans the shop, looking for any sign of foul play. After her initial once over, she whispers an arcan phrase, shifting her vision to detect magic.
Having made the mistake of looking toward one of the street lamps moments before entering, Celia suffers a moment of near blindness as her eyes adjust,
Drawing Oblivion, Sādhanā motions for Tesia to step back before splitting off a portion of her will with a whispered spell and attempting to open the door.
The door opens into a small hallway with a set of stairs leading down and a set of stairs leading upward. You see some light coming from upstairs but none downstairs.
Celia quietly casts a spell as they determine which way to go, kinking her mind with Sādhanā, Tesia, Cyna, and Mirrin, allowing them to communicate telepathically and making it easier for Tesia to relay anything she discovers while in her wolf form.
Tesia smells the distinctive scent of musty earth coming from downstairs. She hears something being knocked over and hitting the floor from that direction, as well.

Feeling the connection with Celia she communicates to the others, The smell of musty earth is downstairs, as well as something being knocked over and hitting the floor. She backs up to let Sadhana go first while casting ironskin on herself, just in case. She prepares to follow the others downstairs.
