Having just learned about Google Drawing I've decided to start using it for the maps, this means you should be able to move your own characters, which is a real time saver for me and hopefully avoids misunderstandings and makes life easier for you to. Please let me know of any issues so we can iron out the kinks ASAP :)

Speaking of DCs I forgot to roll the poison ones, my bad, just be aware you'll be making saves when hit from now on. Generally speaking if I make a mistake I'll correct it if it hurts you and leave it otherwise.
I just reread this, and to be clear I mean I will correct the mistake, if the mistake hurts you.

Hello all, I wanted to let everyone know. I will do my best to keep active, but right now is the time of year things are very difficult for my family.
this is the time My wife lost her brother and her mother. and many may know we are battling alcoholism. this time of year is the most difficult in coping.
we have made some positive step but the journey is so long I wonder if we can ever make it back to a normal life.
any way those of you that pray please keep us in your prayers, I need all the help I can to make it through Thanksgiving.
the next big hurdle will be January with the doldrums of winter with Christmas being over. I only hope we can make it clean and sober through the holidays.
If it matters at all, I have been clean for about 6 months now. my wife has been struggling to make her first 30 days. which will be on the 29th of this month.

Family always comes first Kibur, I hope everything goes well for you and yours over the holidays. If you do feel your commitments getting a bit much please remember this is designed to be a low commitment game and PCs have the option of dropping after every encounter by design. If you do choose to do so you would be welcome back, though you would go to the end of the line - its not a long line :) Hopefully you can continue, but just reminding you the option is there if you find you need it.

I believe I should have gotten two first level spells but in a hurry when I created my character I only took one. Is is ok to add one more to my list of known spells?

Chandra Sylor |

Something swallowed my post.
I think the delay may be the holidays or at least I am hoping that is true. I am not saying anything because my dipolicy would get me thrown out at the very best. I hope you had a great thanks giving.

Right I've had a PM from Kibur, who is dropping out. I'm afraid due to a number of factors I'll be looking to finish things off shortly. I would prefer to finish with a satisfying conclusion, so would anyone like to run Kibur for the final encounter - I can DM PC though I generally prefer not to. I would love to hear any feedback you have for me, and hope this has been a relatively positive experience. Ultimately I ended up finding the random idea rather limiting and gimmicky, I think a lot of the stuff I was trying to achieve regarding lighter commitment and a character pool is handled far more adroitly by Pathfinder Society play - which I've just begun getting into.
I'm moving over to Pathfinder Society exclusively for PBP after this as I feel it offers some major advantages. The fact that both DMs and players have a real incentive, that you can continue the same character between various games, and that each scenario is relatively bite sized makes it perfect IMO. Elhona, Chandra, Gabriel I would be delighted to have you in my games again if you are interested in running PFS, and I'll be posting a recruitment thread for Black Waters in a few hours, using the alias The Broken GM.

Elhona Felar |

Thanks for the heads up! I'm wrapping up "The Disappeared" with one alias right now, but would be happy to start playing some others with another one - a healer even!
I'll keep an eye out, but if others jump in first, go for it. I am running a kingmaker campaign at my FLGS, so I get plenty of play time in.
Thanks for the fun, even if short!

I realy liked the game, especially the use of maps, very well organized, congratulations. Moreover, the character creation is also an interesting factor, especially by the possibilities of creation. Sorry for the few posts lately, end of year on school, a lot of notes and corrections to make! And my excuses for the non-english native writings....... = p
Thank you all!

Thanks Yves, and I'm sorry to wrap things up, but as I say I really think PFS PBP is the way to go. A nice short scenario takes less than a month to play out, there is a clear resolution, and your character can still progress. I'd be delighted to ahve you in one of my PFS games if you feel you can meet the posting requirements - the nice thing about short PFS PBPs is you can always hop into oen when you feel like you will have a relatively free month and be done by the end.

I am sorry about dropping out.
it wasn't anything in this game just some personal stuff at home.
I really am sorry if I messed things up.
Also I was having some difficulty finding where the charater was going.

No need to feel bad Kibur, this was specifically designed as a low commitment campaign. Posting rates were getting lethargic all over and I am all jazzed about PFS. Some things are just not meant to be. I think the game has come to a natural end and while its sad that it did not get the wind under its sails I hope we all had a bit of fun with the experiment - you guys certainly faced down some near epic encounters for your level.
