The Outsiders will be a companion game to Justice League: Generations and Suicide Squad: Generations. The tone is a bit more discrete than your typical superhero tale. The focus is more on black ops and stealth but with it's fair share of action.
We have one available slot for the time being.
System: Mutants and Masterminds 2nd edition
Setting: DC Universe set 20 years forward from current time. We are playing loose with much of the history and what was or was not canon.
Synopsis: When a clandestine operation gets greenlit by top US government officials, A.R.G.U.S. Director Dick Grayson has no choice but to work outside the red tape. While he can't readily act against the motion, he sends in a group he knows will get the job done. He sends in The Outsiders.
Submission:
Power Level: 10
Power Points: 165
Impervious: Capped at ½ your Toughness.
Trade Offs: Capped at +/- 4. For instance, Defence/Toughness max at a combined total of 20, average of which would be 10 and 10. Max trade off value would be 6 and 14 or 14 and 6.
Please have a quick paragraph or two for a backstory, and include why exactly Dick Grayson trusts them so much.
This will be my second attempt at GMing a PbP. I expect at least one post per day, but I understand that life is a thing that exists.
The team currently consists of:
Iota, size/density manipulator
Gravewound, a technomancing killing machine
Knightingale, vigilante and daughter of Green Arrow and Black Canary
And an unnamed Gadgeteer
Recruitment will be closed once we (myself and the other four players) have reached a consensus, or a week from today. Whichever comes first.
Hope to see some great ideas.

Dr. Dennis Young was born a child prodigy. Highly intelligent, Dennis graduated from high school at the age of 10 and college at the age of 16 with Bachelors in Genetics, History, Geology, Mathematics, and Computer science. From there, he got his doctorates in Genetics, Medicine, and Mathematics, and got his first appointment working on the Human Geonome project, where he made an interesting discovery: He discovered the metagene, which is the gene responsible for giving metahumans the potential to develop superpowers. When he attempted to present his findings to a colleague, his colleague attempted to kill him and take his research. Surviving his experience, He left the academic world behind, destroying all of his research and moving to the shadows.
His former colleague, Doctor Hijima Kosoma, however, continues to hunt for Dr. Young, trying to get the secret of creating super powered individuals.
Several years passed before Dr. Young reemerged, calling himself Transporter, and helping to fight crime in Bloodhaven, where he met a younger hero by the name of Nightwing. Several times over the next half-decade they helped each other out.

Hey, one of the other players from the team here.
Transporter has a hell of a lot of skills; I've never seen a character with even close to that many points. He'll be highly skilled, and potentially hard to physically harm given his reactionary teleport, but every Save based attack will wipe him out. Also, does he have any offensive contributions, or will he be strictly non-combabtant?

GM Echos Myron |

From what I can tell, the "Reactionary Teleport" is only a Shield power with the descriptor being Reactionary. It's not an actual Reactionary Teleport (which would give me a headache in combat and would probably make it on my "please don't do this to me" list)
As Rigor said, he's very skilled-- which is good! But he's got some holes that leave him overly vulnerable. You might want to knock a bunch of points off of skills and move them to your save defenses. The closer to 10 they are, the better.
While his name is Transporter, without the affects others extra, the only thing he'll be transporting is himself (which might be what you have in mind). It would benefit the team a bit more if he could assist them by way of teleporting them or opening portals or perhaps having an offensive blast of some sort.

Vrog Skyreaver |

Reactionary teleport is indeed the shield power reflavored, with the idea that he's not so much dodging but he's more teleporting out of the way of the attack.
I thought I had effects others on Teleport; I'll have to rejigger it a bit.
About his skills and defenses: In M&M, that's an average character for me: Lots of skills and feats and a power or 2. I like to be able to make all sorts of skill rolls, and I like to do them well. My defenses are a bit on the lower side, but I imagine that it's mostly that he's an older, slightly out-of-shape scientist who sometimes does the hero thing.
That being said, I will probably drop one or two skills, because I also realized I forgot my equipment, and what is the ability to teleport shaped charges and then detonate them if you don't have the shaped charges? I'll also have things like tear gas grenades and flash-bang grenades.
