Voice of Awesomeness |

I've only just noticed that SunShadow21's DM alias for squad 1 is Voice of Wisdom. Monkeygod's DM alias for us makes so much more sense now.
Are you still with us?? Hope you haven't lost faith. The week of my birthday was insane and all three of the games I was running suffered some, so I am sorry about that.

Voice of Awesomeness |

It appears we've lost both Tok and Jax. I'v emailed them both, and no response, plus Jax is in two other games with me, and nothing in awhile.
That leaves us with 5, which is not bad at all, but not the 7 we started with. Do you want to try and recruit more, or is the five we have fine??
Personally, I don't really care, but it's up to you all.

Valen Morse |

I was at New York Comic Con all weekend(since last wed actually) and have slowly been workin catchin everybody up. Beyond that, I'm also waiting on Torque, since he's kinda got the spotlight along with Valen atm.
Hey, let's be honest here. When am I not in the spotlight?

Torque Mitabu |

HP roll for level 3: 1d6 ⇒ 1 + 1 for favoured class
Skill rank allocations:
1 rank in Use Magic Device
1 rank in Craft (Mechanisms)
5 ranks in Perception (I thought I could do without it it's absance is getting on my nerves)
Feats
(Selected)
Brew Potion (class feature)
Don't worry, I'm not going to charge comission on potions I brew for you all - not until I'm trying to save up for something at least
New (level 2!) wierd science device
Infusion Array (cure moderate wounds): A cluster of brass needles linked to Torque's condensate syphon, the infusion array allows condensate to be injected into vital organs now that Torque has worked out a way of reducing it's viscosity. It can repair more serious injuries than simply spreading the condensate onto a wound can.

Huh. Somehow I ended up posting on both threads. Perhaps we should carry on the talk about the direction of the game here to avoid cluttering up the RP.
I'm not sure it really counts as an RP goal but I'm still hell bent on getting the big top to work. Now that we're level 3 it might be worth thinking about some sort of unarmoured prototype steam-cart thing.

Don't forget the eventual airship to carry The Big Top.

Doing pretty well. With my new job giving me both new engineering knowledge and disposable income, it's now looking possible that I will build my own vehicle before Torque does.
Oooo, what're you building? A Killdozer, perhaps?

Torque Mitabu |

Ha. No, nothing that grand. Thinking of doing an electric car conversion to make the commute to work more affordable. As for the killdozer guy, I still can't figure out if he's a folk hero or a psychopath. He was wronged and he didn't kill anyone, but that might just be because he couldn't aim.

From what I heard, he had no desire to really hurt people. Srsly with something like the Killdozer, aim has nothing to do with it: just smash/blow up the right buildings and people WILL get hurt.

This area of the game has been a little quiet. What's everyone been up to these days? How's everyone doing?
Been doing rather well. Just started to learn how to cook. Egg fried rice on the menu tonight. Also in the planning stages of a two player campaign to run for my roomates.

I heard the same. He was just trying to get some payback. Although the specs on the thing were crazy. It was basically a bomb shelter on wheels. With a bulldozer blade on the front.

Torque Mitabu |

My understanding was that he had rifles in there with him as well. Took some pot shots at the police but it may have been to get them to keep their heads down.
They tried to stop it with another digger but it came off rather badly. It didn't have a bunker's worth of extra mass and momentum behind it.
One day someone is going to write a folk song about that guy, I know it.
And two-player campaigns are always fun. I finded there's a certain buddy-movie style banter that you don't quite get with larger parties.

Voice of Awesomeness |

Just curious, since it seems Fury won't be coming back any tme soon, how do you all feel about keeping the group at 5, or trying to recruit one or two others?
Personally, I'm ok with either. 5 is definitely not too few, and we have most roles filled and I can tailor encounters to what we have, but I am also ok with looking to add in an extra player or two, especially if we could get a dedicated skill monkey. Again not a must, but if that's what you all want, i'll run with it.

Nine Tail |

About all the knowledge skills should be covered by Valen, Torque and Acune. Nine Tail's got acrobatic, perception, survival, and Know nature. Gremm has climb, perception, and Know nature. We don't likely have a lot of overlap but should have a shot at most things.
Not a lot of stealth...but thats because we have 7ft2in Gremm.
Need a lock picked....we have Gremm <SMASH>.
Need a door opened....we have Gremm <SMASH>.
Need to bypass a trap...we have Nine Tail <BOOM> I have hit points to spare.
I might take disable device later if its a problem, it could fit with the trickster nature of his spirit totem.

Valen Morse |

I can cover some of the knowledges. I've already got arcana, nobility, and planes. But also keep in mind I'm only a 2+ skill point class. Never really understood why sorcerers didn't get 4+.
I know the rich parents trait gives you extra starting gold but what I don't understand is why it doesn't also give you knowledge nobility as a class skill. It makes sense in my mind. If you're rich you're probably also hobnobbing with nobles anyways. And it's not like it's an oft used skill. I think I can count on one hand the times I've used it.
