And I've got a couple of things I need to get together on my character sheet/alias yet before we get into the game (Familiar stat block, prepared spells, etc). Oh, and general proofreading, of course. That should be quick though.

So it seems. Okay, so I've been going over character sheets just to be sure and I only have one or two questions.
First, Maximo, I'm having trouble finding where the last +1 to your AC is coming from. I only get 21 adding it up.
Lessee...
+1 from size, +1 natural armor, +4 from Dex, +2 from MWK buckler, +4 from MWK studded leather. That should be +12 total, right?
Ah, that's the issue. Bucklers only give a +1 and in fact the studded leather only gives a +3. Masterwork doesn't increase AC bonuses on armor and shields. So it's actually 20.

...huh. Well, my bad. Still, 20 AC isn't too bad.
Masterwork armor isn't quite as good as a masterwork weapon unfortunately. But yeah, 20 AC is good.
So, anything wrong with my character sheet?
I believe yours is alright.

Alright, I think I'm ready to get started after a few small house keeping things.
First, would everyone please make sure their Hit Points, AC, Saves, CMD, Perception, Initiative, and any other abilities that you have that I might need to know at a glance are in your header. It saves me a lot of time when I'm working on posts in combat and the like.
Second, if you have any daily things like spells, please make sure they're decided soon. I've got a little checking to do to get things in order, so I'll open the game tomorrow, so please be completely ready to start sometime tomorrow. I don't anticipate combat too quickly, but it's best to be ready.
Swapped out my shield spell for inflict light wounds since a Partial Manifestation will do more or less the same thing anyway.
I should be all set stats wise (I also finally fixed Maximo's backstory to reflect his changes).
Let's go save the world!

One more thing though. Jonathan, you are horrendously over your carry weight. I would advise you pick a lot of gear to keep at your inn room or something along those lines.

Yeah, most of that isn't supposed to be carried on my person. That's just everything he owns, but I'll denote what he's carrying on the average day, and make a note of whenever I'm carrying something other than his standard gear. Also, I'll get the stat list up top ASAP.
Any other issues with the sheet, or I am good other than that?
Katya: All looks good, though as a Winter Witch your fox is an arctic fox. It gains an extra +4 racial stealth bonus is snow. Not sure if it will ever come up, but it's good to have a note down regardless.
Jonathan: Sounds good to me. I believe everything else is correct.
Though as a note to everyone, would you mind making a note of how many skill ranks you have in each skill on your character sheets?

Yeah, had that marked in other places, just didn't mark it in the stat block. Fixed that, and added in the Stealth modifier.
Also marked my skill ranks in my stat block. It's not a problem; I honestly miss having that on the character sheets. I like seeing everything broken down.
Done. I'll try remembering, although I'll probably need reminding every time we level up since HeroLab doesn't export them out that way.

Anyone need anything to keep going? I'm trying to let the party introduce themselves as Ryx seems to have done the job of uniting the party for me, but if anyone feels like they need a push to keep going, I can do something.
Triel's already more-or-less introduced herself to the team. I think we're just waiting to move on to where we're going to be staying for the conference. :)

I took some time to stop and think preciesely about what exactly is going through Zalika's mind.
Firstly, she probably believes that Maximo has had a vision from a divine power. As a cleric, such a thing wouldn't be unheard of, especially when someone is claiming to have a powerful link to Apsu. On the other hand, Zalika privately believes that either Maximo misintpreted the vision slightly, or that she herself is not a part of the vision, probably because she believes that the conference is an excellent way for her to gain access to powerful allies, good or evil, against the various threats. Therefore, due to her willingness to work work with both sides (although with the ultimate goal of restoring balance) she struggles to reconcile herself being a part of that vision.
I don't know if this warrants a shove or a push, since Zalika is the kind of person that could easily be persuaded otherwise / proved wrong, but its probably worth mentioning at the moment, just so everyone is on the same page.
Also worth noting that while the entire party is intending to visit the Ascendant Court, Zalika is heading towards a temple to a Ptah while I think(?) the rest are settling in their accommodation. I'll return to my own accommodation probably in the afternoon / evening, and head to the conference tomorrow. Of course, if a meteor strike suddenly lays waste to the city at midnight, I'm sure Zalika would be on hand to help!

I'm on the same page as Triel :) I think we're pretty much just waiting to move on at this point, unless anyone has anything to add.

I'm in a similar situation actually; things got very busy, very quickly, so I'm sorry for holding things up. Hopefully things will be a little calmer in a day or two, but I'll be probably be pretty scarce for a little longer as well. Again, sorry for the delay, and good luck!
So... mechanically, how is this supposed to work?
There's not really mechanics for this. If one of you had rolled significantly better than the other, the crowd would have swayed to that side. Frankly, the priestess of Lamashtu was just part of the scene to prove the point that even some of the world's worst gods are welcome in Absalom. I wasn't expecting everyone to make such a big deal out of it.
It's a cantrip, so not a big deal, but Prestidigitation is Wizard/Sorcerer and Bard only. Unless Zalika has something that gives it to her, but I'm not seeing it. Minor thing that I guess was overlooked.
Actually feel free to retcon it. I too, was unsure how it appeared on my character sheet, until I figured out that I previously had a trait that granted it (Two World Magic), but switched said trait it into something more flavorful, and it was just an oversight that it hung around.

I just got home, and have a stable internet connection. Finally. Almost ran over my data limit using my wireless hotspot, and even that wasn't always working. Remember kids; "free wi-fi" doesn't mean the wi-fi works. That said, I'm back in action now.

Alright, so I talked with Katya tonight and she's going to be dropping the game. It's... complicated, but it's done and we move on. I'll be asking around for another player, and I believe I have a good second choice, but I'll have to talk to a few people to see who's still interested in playing. Feel free to keep talking or whatever in game, but I probably won't post until I find a replacement.
