Sivar Soulscar |

Sivar will cast ironskin and then divine favour on himself
Checking out the cool rune on his fauchard he slices the air with it
"let's go stomp some bad." he starts heading further inside 24 ac atm

GM Chyro |

Following preparations, you find yourselves in the previously mentioned scene of an empty reception and two corridors leading to the great hall, both locked.

GM Chyro |

Searching the storages, or skip and force your way into the main hall?

GM Chyro |

With no voices for otherwise, brute force it will be.
It takes a bit to hack down the heavy metal lock on the door, but it eventually breaks under applied brute force.
The doors surprisingly make relatively little noise, a soft creaking. The hinges are apparently oiled frequent enough.
It's dark within, the only light coming from the lit fauchard, casting light on the benches ahead.
A few bodies hang slumped over them and on the floor.

GM Chyro |

The bodies turn out to be dwarven clergy, a few still clutching to warhammers, being near a corpse of some otherworldly beast. It looks like they managed to kill it, but were killed in turn by something.
A torch falls off the wall suddenly....
Perception rolls please.

GM Chyro |

Sivar notices the tip of something, a tail perhaps, disappear up ahead....

Father Burdock |

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
"I'm sorry my brothers.", Burdock laments with a silent weep. Noting impending danger, he casts a spell to boost the party's defenses versus the evil forces that likely lurk ahead.
Casting communal protection from energy, duration of 2 minutes on everyone but Grint who has 1 minute.
"Let us end this before more lives are lost.", Burdock moving forward during his words.

Jadwiga Elsa Harcatha |

Elsa nods to Father Burdock. Indeed.

GM Chyro |

As the team cautiously moves towards the center of the room, they see a large statue of the Forge Father Torag. Its lower part has been somewhat damaged by traces of something dragging along its surface.
It is then, that the front benches are flipped onto their backs, and two large wurms show themselves, hungry for more denizens of Golarion.
Void wurms.
These oversized wurms are aberrations, their origins unknown, but some speculate they are not from this world, and are summoned to Golarion via dark means.

Father Burdock |

Sorry, meant to type protection from evil.... too much con prep!
Burdock chants a prayer of Torag to empower the party!
Bless, +1 to hit and fear saves to the party for 7 minutes
He then moves to hold the line for Elsa, shield at the ready.

Jadwiga Elsa Harcatha |

Previously Elsa took 3 burn to increase her "armor" of ice and snow
Elsa gathers power and unleashes a blast at a nearby creature
Ice Ice Baby!: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16
TOO COLD!: 4d6 + 4 ⇒ (5, 1, 1, 5) + 4 = 16 *1.5 =24

GM Chyro |

Sivar closes distance with the lower wurm. His fauchard comes down hard, yet the thick carapace of the wurm causes it to slide off.
He also notices its skin secreting an awful odor.
Fort save DC 13 please, or you are sickened for as long as you are within 10ft of it.
Elsa is having more luck, right after Father Burdock casts a blessing from the Forge Father himself, to cleanse his sacred hall of these abominations.
The wurm seems to resist some of the cold.
19 dmg to red wurm.
----------------
Green wurm moves forward to near Father Burdock, toppling a brazier dish and a solid wooden bench as it goes.
Bite: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12 Dmg: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
Grab if hits: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (15) + 14 = 29

Grab if hits: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (20) + 14 = 34
The wurm bites SIvar's shoulder, pulling him closer towards it.

Yep that won't work either.
Sivar starts gagging at the smell and then cries out in pain at the bite

Father Burdock |

@GM: If I use Liberating Command for Siivar and he succeeds, can he take his normal turn? Its' an immediate action, so I can do it as soon as he gets grappled?
In either case...
Burdock calls for Torag to release Siivar from his current bond!
It's an immediate action spell so it doesn't provoke.
Defensive casting: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23
The dwarf priest then follows up with a blessing of Torag that incites alacrity and fervor among the group.
A dwarf creates new life through art,
as a cook does with his meal
through the beating of the hammer
shaping crafted steel.

GM Chyro |

He certainly can. Sivar, care to smack some wurm?

Sivar Soulscar |

GM Chyro |

With Father Burdock's spell instantly releasing Sivar from the hold of the wurm, Sivar swings his fauchard at the beast, cutting a gash in its hide.
Elsa

GM Chyro |

Botting.
Elsa joins Sivar's fight, as Father Burdock's defenses are a bit more solid. She steps 5ft back, and aims for the wurm.
Rt, cover: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28 Empowered Dmg: 4d6 + 4 ⇒ (5, 5, 5, 5) + 4 = 24

Father Burdock |

Okay, I know I made a post attacking the wurm and using my last Liberating Command on Sivar... wtf.
And Sivar, you cannot use a two handed weapon while grappled, so here's hoping it works!
Burdock shouts another command of freedom to Sivar as he takes his hammer to the wurm in front of him!
Immediate action liberating command, +14 to the check
Hammer @ Green: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18
Damage on hit: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

Jadwiga Elsa Harcatha |

GM Chyro |

Thanks to some quick casting from Father Burdock, Sivar once again escapes from the maws of dark gobbling, this time gutting the wurm, as his fauchard cuts open a disgusting wound, from which blood and innards roll forth.
The wurm crashes down with a hard *THUD*.
Father Burdock's own atack doesn't connect thereafter, which is something Elsa compensates for, taking out the 2nd wurm with a blast to its face, sending the 2nd wurm to crash down upon the benchs, which crack and break under the heavy weighted impact.
Combat over.

Sivar Soulscar |

Sivar gives a sigh of relief and then stops himself from collapsing he turns to father Burdock
"Thankyou father. .. that was timely."
He then casts sure serious wounds on himself csw: 3d8 + 7 ⇒ (1, 1, 8) + 7 = 17

Father Burdock |

Burdock clutches his new holy symbol, remembering Torag's command once more. Using the pearl of power holy symbol to regain one of the Liberating Commands.
"Aye, I could say the same thing about your swings.", the dwarf sighing at the damage caused. "Let's go in.", the forgemaster leading the way deeper into the church after patching Sivar's wounds.
CLW wand @ Sivar: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Jadwiga Elsa Harcatha |

Elsa nods to the Good Father and follows them into the room, ice falls from her fingertips.

GM Chyro |

From what it looks like, you'd not need to spend a lot of charges, after Sivar's own casting of CSW. Merely 1 charge will be enough.
To the south, or the east?

Father Burdock |

And I'm stupid... missed Sivar's post. So yeah, just the one charge then <_<
And which direction would Burdock know to be the armory of the church? I'd expect his brother would try to hold them either there, or towards some vaults to seal them. If he would not know, then I'll say south.

GM Chyro |

Both the archives the cleric spoke of, and armory, are to the south actually.
Sadly i will have to remake that map tonight, it is lost somewhere.
Father Burdock recalls the supportive rooms to this church are to the south, and so the team heads there.
The heavy doors make a slight low creaking, as they are carefully opened partially, to check for hostiles. Father Burdock sees none, but he is looking into a hall with furniture, where meetings were usually held, with doors leading to the Archives, armory/smithy, sleeping quarters, and vault.
Which will be respectively be in that order left to right on the map to be.

Jadwiga Elsa Harcatha |

Elsa taps her foot impatiently, you people aren't expecting her to go first are you?

GM Chyro |

Sorry for the delay, map's up.
Father Burdock carefully opens the armory/smithy, finding a rough 25ft by 30ft room. A brazier bowl still has a soft glowing fire, and the smithy furnace still glows with hot coals.
There are signs of fighting, as some bloodstains and a few broken hilts are at the scene.
Surprisingly, there are no bodies in sight.
Perceptions if you further inspect the smithy.

GM Chyro |

Both Father Burdock and Sivar notice, when coming to the center of the room, something odd about a vent nearby up in the ceiling.
It's now more obvious why some of the present blood is more splatters than outright puddles or gashed.
Area marked.

GM Chyro |

Between the two men, the vent's frame gives way, falling onto the floor with a solid metal bang.
Red stains the entire top of it, as if something living was forcefully pulled through the frame and bled further upon it.
The disturbing part follows just seconds after. A mass of amorphous flesh goops down onto the floor. There are faint shapes of dwarven faces underneath the surface, expressions of anguish, yet only partially solid in structure.
Flesh blob.
A thing crafted through foul methods, these all consuming masses of flesh have been a design among cults to non Golarion entities.
They are capable of producing new ones, if they have eaten and digested enough victims.
The sight of it is hidious....
Everyone currently within 10 ft, fort dc 18, or you're nauseated for 1 round.
