Upon seeing the kobold's head reduced to a very gorey pulp, Panros looked at his comrades who looked equally beaten.

"Shan't be more o'dese buggers round 'ere!" he said while further pulverizing the dead reptilian's body against the cavern floor. Though the alchemist was wily and arguably a walking trainwreck, Panros in his altered state was a warped and extreme version of his old self.

Unsure of how many other kobold bodies to grind, the dwarf alchemist turned and faced Brok with an eager face. Saliva dripped from his open maw like a choked river entering a swamp, and beneath his goggles shone terrifying eyes.

"Say kippa, wut's next? Lassy 'ere needs more blood!"

Like with any alcoholic, might be best if Panros stayed off the sauce

Brok took an unconscious step backward.

"Uh, sure, yeah. Say... you could use some serious 'leaf, bud."

The druid was suddenly very glad he was not born small and reptilian.

Panros saw that there remained next to nothing of the kobold camp within the cavern to which he thought, GOOD RIDDANCE!. While the mutagen continued to eat away any shred of personality that the curmudgeon of a dwarf had, there was still business to be made.

Struggling to form words without sputtering his rage everywhere, he looked upon Brok who was slowly inching away.

"OY. DUN BE ACTIN LIKE DAT. I AINT SUM BEASTY."

Taking several steps forward, he gripped the druid and pulled him close so that he could count the amount of teeth that he had.

"WE GONE SOMEWHERE YES? ILL BOOST YE OVER DE EDGE." he said with a toothy grin.

Brok stared into the face of madness and it was dwarven.

There was only one thing to do.

Blend in.

"I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON. I AM YELLING."

Seeing that Brok joined in on the fun, Panros gave even a bigger devilish smile and had stared at the druid for longer than a minute. When he realized that Brok wasn't going to yell anymore, the dwarf shifted his attention to the chamber. It had seemed like a small eternity as he had waged a small, but futile war against one of his hated enemies - the kobolds. Making sure to kick any sizable reptilian remains into the chasm below, he motioned towards the unexplored section of the chamber.

Perception, taking 10. 16

Panros handles the dead with finesse, tossing the mangled kobold corpses into the mass grave at the center of the room. Unfortunately, there is nothing else of value here. It looks like this was a common room of some kind, turned into an ambush site that went horribly, horribly wrong for the poor little reptiles.

"Bah!" said Panros as he turned about face and meandered towards the bridge. With little interest left in the room, the dwarf continued to bumble about as he retraced his steps and went back to the fork and takes the unexplored path.

As angry as a rabid hornet's nest after being batted around by a small, screaming child and an equally curmudgeonly wolverine, Panros grabbed his crossbow and advanced down the other hallway with a perpetual scowl. Brok, to the confused druid's credit, followed the madman perhaps a dozen paces behind. Even Rufus seemed to understand that Panros was even angrier than usual.

About midway down the hallway, the sound of dirt and rock crumbling away fills the hallway. Panros glances down just in time to see the floor give way.

Panros Ref: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22

He dives forward, landing facefirst in the dirt as the whole of the hallway gives way, leaving a 10-foot diameter pit right in the center of the tunnel. The sound of rock tumbling down and crashing into a hard, rocky floor fills the cavern as the remains of the pit's disguise fall into the opening.

Pit trap avoided!

"BLARGGIN BO'BOLDS!!!" said the lumbering dwarf as his face met with the caverns earth. Panros didn't know what he should be more upset about - the fact that he nearly fell into another trap, or the fact that the reptilians would pick such a shoddy place to dwell in. Either the case, Panros would have to find a suitable amount of explosives to rid Golarion of this horrible excuse.

Continue to explore the chamber. Taking 10 on Perception :16

Brok carefully slides along the wall, making sure not to either step into the trap or step on Panros's coattails. Even Brok knew a madman when he saw one.

Panros smells the next room before he truly sees it.

At the center of this moderately sized chamber - though the roof was still a little lower than the decidedly taller Brok might have preferred - lay a pile of garbage. The rotting heap of vegetables, food, excrement, and innumerable other foul things filled the room with the lovely scent of decomposition. A bulging leather sack sits tantalizingly atop the disgusting pile, its contents carefully sealed away from prying eyes.

Scrunching up his nose from the smell, Panros continues his cursory examination of the room and spots another kobold - though this one is a tad less hostile than the others. Tied to a post in the central northern alcove, the green scaled little bugger writhes and contorts at the sight of the dwarf. Cloth and rope bind her to the pillar and, perhaps thankfully, keep her snout good and shut.

With a shrug, the dwarf ignores the kobold for the moment, noting the other two passages out of the chamber. Both lead to the south, though the western passage has a sturdy-looking wooden gate blocking the path.

"Blarggin Bo'bolds" said Panros as he passed by the chained creature. Part of him wanted to smash it into oblivion, and yet, there was another idea to experiment, but it wasn't going anywhere which was great for the Dwarf.

With two paths branching from beyond the chained captive, Panros motioned towards the closed door. Lacking the finesse that his non altered self possesed, he went to the frame and applied his foot.

"AINT NOTHING GONNA KEEP ME DOWN!" he said while making enough ruckus to stir whatever remained in the cave.

The wooden gate, for all of its sturdiness, easily gives way beneath the heavy booted foot of an angry dwarf.

Seeing itself being ignored, the writhing kobold gives a muffled sigh and settles back into its sad state. Brok looks at it, offers a shrug, and follows his resident madman.

The tunnel proceeds a short way, perhaps two dozen feet, and ends in another of the gates. This one is a little larger and a little sturdier.

"BLARGIN KOBOLDS. BUILDIN SHODDY FENCES LIKE DIS!!!" said Panros as he eyed yet another wooden obstruction. Honestly, the entire encounter just seemed like a waste of time that the Mad Tinkerer could've employed towards perfecting his craft, looking for recipes of gunpowder, or perhaps learning new formulae from his new friend, Xenme. Instead, his wallet yearned for more weight, and he took on a job of eradicating reptilians that had no compunction on Bellhaim.

With little regard for the door, he planted his heavy boot upon its frame, and exacted his force.

"EAT THIS"

The small, kobold-constructed wooden gate boldly dares to resist dwarven incursion.

Panros gave the door a lear.

"Oh, so now you're gonna fight with me, eh door?!!"

Pulling back a bit, Panros rushed the door with so much force that he may have disturbed the entire cavern.

"GET SLAGGED!!!"

Str Check, One More Time!: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

It begins...

In his infinite wisdom, Panros picks a fight with a door.

And loses.

And it's not even really a door, it's more of a wooden gate. And yet...

Having the tantrum of the century, Panros tries once more to break open the gate before breaking everything within his dwarven grasp. Producing forth his warhammer, he tested its might against the wooden barricade.

"OPEN, YOU!!!"

lawl, defeated by a gate

RPG Superstar 2015 Top 32

To the dwarf's surprise, the small gate wasn't even locked. Just latched.

And his bumbling incompetence broke said latch.

Panros is an idiot.

The gate slowly opens, revealing the cavern beyond. The ceiling is much higher, and the chamber is filled with well-chewed bones. A low, growling sound comes from the far corner.

Quickly turning to face it, the duo see a large, bipedal lizard creature. Not a kobold, but more bestial. Its sizable teeth bared, and a bone clumsily held in its awkward looking hands, it appears unhappy with the presence of two intruders.
