Remember we have the stuff from Zartra's Escape kit.
Hat of Disguise
Cloak of Elvenkind
Dust of Disappearance
Zac and Argus have the servants outfits on still as well.
Alright we have 15 min we should head out quickly. I hate to suggest this but we might do better if we split the party.

"Let me suggest someone with the higher chance to succeed in avoiding being discovered to take the evidences, so if the others are discovered, at least he can take the material to save place without placing the others into trouble"

![]() |

I believe we still have an Elixir of Hiding available as well.
"Gentlemen, might I suggest the following course of action. Whoever carries the evidence should use the Dust of Disappearance since it will make them completely invisible. That way we ensure mission success. Mr. Vailis should dismiss his eidolon so he doesn't attract any attention. Messrs. Zac and Argus should pretend to be servants and act natural as they escape, while Brother Zymir, Mr. Vailis and myself should use the remaining disguise and stealth magic to sneak away."
"If that plan is suitable, then I would further suggest that Brother Zymir use the Dust since he is contact with the Venture-Captain Ms. Li, while Vailis attempts to sneak out using the cloak and elixir, as I disguise myself as a noble once again using the hat and my well-honed abilities of obfuscation."

Vailis nods at Sebastian plan as he dismisses Eidi. He then takes the cloak and the elixir and makes them to use once the group hits Zarta's chambers.

![]() |

Right, but if I can add Sebastian. Don't know about Zac, but my ability to talk to people... without my fists, is fairly limited. Perhaps we should accompany you posing as a noble, serving as your servants. That way if someone stops us like before, you can convince them.
Other than that, I'm good to go. Lets get back to the waiting room and finish this mission.

![]() |

"That's an excellent idea, Mr. Argus. If there is no objections from Mr. Zac then that is what we shall do."
Just waiting to hear from Zymir and Zac to make sure we're clear on the plan, then I'll proceed with Sebastian's rolls.

![]() |

While I believe your plan is solid, for the most part, I do worry that of with my limp I will not able to make it very far while invisible. If I remember correctly the dust can work for anywhere from 12 seconds to a little over a minute. Perhaps we should give it and the evidence to someone who is a little more feet of foot? Also to be clear we are not trying to escape the embassy but make it back to the waiting chamber to meet the new Ambassador. Zymir offers as he moves about casting a spell of guidance on everyone.

![]() |

"Of course, those are all valid points Brother Zymir. In that case, I suggest I use the dust of disappearance, while you disguise yourself as a noble or another servant. I'm quite certain you're skilled enough to talk your way out of any potential issues that might creep up."
"Naturally if there is someone who can move with more celerity than I, yet is well-versed in moving stealthily, then I'll happily cede that position to them."

![]() |

Not me, but the plan sounds good. Lets get back there before anyone gets too curious.

![]() |

Are you going to take the same way back? If so please roll three dice: either disguise, bluff or stealth depending on the tactic you choose. Each of you, if you are visible. One die for the dining room, one for the gardens and one for the hallway.

Vailis places the elvenkind cloak around his shoulders. Then once at Zartra's chambers and just before opening the door to go out to the corridor, he drinks the hiding elixir.
Stealth: 1d20 + 2 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 2 + 10 = 22
Stealth: 1d20 + 2 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 2 + 10 = 25
Stealth: 1d20 + 2 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 2 + 10 = 29
The half-elf moves back undoing the previous way through the garden trying to reach to the waiting room unnoticed.

![]() |

bluff: -2 + 1d20 ⇒ -2 + (4) = 2 to blend in
bluff: -2 + 1d20 ⇒ -2 + (11) = 9 to make them think I'm one of them
bluff: -2 + 1d20 ⇒ -2 + (17) = 15 to just walk right on in

I think heading back the way we came is the best bet, at least we know what's coming up.
Argus will wait for Zymir to head out before trying to shadow him, hoping to look like a servant if he's seen.
Stealth: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15
Stealth: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24
Stealth: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30

Collecting the all the evidence and placing it in his coat, Sebastian waits until the moment he enters the southern hallway before using the Dust of Disappearance. "Best of luck, gentlemen, see you in the waiting room, I'm sure."
Moving as swiftly and efficiently as he can back the way the group came, the investigator hopes the dust has a particularly long duration.
In case it doesn't...
Stealth: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Stealth: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Stealth: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Since those are really bad rolls, Sebastian will use his remaining Inspiration points to augment two of them, if necessary
Inspiration 1: 1d6 ⇒ 4
Inspiration 2: 1d6 ⇒ 3

![]() |

Disguise: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (4) + 15 = 19 'Which way to the garden' - Lost noble
Disguise: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (12) + 15 = 27 'I needed some Fresh air' - Noble out for a srtoll
Disguise: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (13) + 15 = 28 'Are there any more of those Crab puffs' - needy noble

His heart still beating fast because the adrenaline, Vailis takes out the papers given by the Society and says "We have very relevant information about Sargava we were told to hand to you in person. I hope you had a delightful night, we did not want to disturb. Case we had known about the gala we might have come another day."

![]() |

"Venture-Captain Ambrus Valsin, my Lady" Vailis says this with a reverence.

![]() |

he asks.
"my Lady" Vailis says this with a reverence.
Take it back take it back!

![]() |

Sebastian merely stands in a corner with his arms folded, doing his best to repress a smug smile.

![]() |

Argh! They never gave us the name, I always had the image it was a woman xD
"Let me say, your excelency, you are much beautiful than the previous paracountess. Let me serve you as your most devoted servant." Vailis kneels and kisses the embassador hand.
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16

![]() |

Staying back, Argus watches everything unfold.
Can't believe they think they can simply unmake a person like that. And then act like they were never there.

![]() |

"Well, Gentlemen, I believe our business here is concluded, shall we?" Sebastian walks over to the front door and holds it open for the others, making an ushering gesture with his free arm.

![]() |

"It certainly was a pleasure" Vailis leaves with a reverence.
Once they are out he proposes to bring the found evidences to the Venture captain and then have some celebration dinner for the success!

![]() |

Venture-Captain Valsin looks at the evidence you found. He congratulates you on your successfull mission and gives each of you a token stamped with the House of Thrune's insignia.
Now that the Pathfinder Society knows where Zarta has been taken and who has taken her, they can get to work on either getting her back or at least figuring out how to deal with Tancred Desimire, who is now firmly in the Society's sights. With the false evidence used by Desimire, the Pathfinder Society may be able to prove to the Chelaxians that Zarta is innocent, though how they can do so without admitting they searched the embassy is hard to see.
These tokens, which the Pathfinder Society previously received from Zarta as a sign of her good will, bestow a +3 circumstance bonus on Diplomacy checks intended to influence high-standing members of House Thrune, the Chelish government, or a Hellknight order in good standing. This bonus remains in effect as long as the token remains on its owner's person; a token only imparts this bonus to the individual to whom it was given.
