Ariela's eyes widen as she processes just how dangerous their battle field actually is. Looking at the enlarges form of Vance, she grins, already plotting how to turn it to her advantage.

Bluff is a standard, I think, but either way Talas isn't doing anything else for this round, so if it's not an action to have bluffed, just consider him on delay

Or at least clearly so far into unconsciousness he's no threat to anyone! :D Right? ...helped along by that being more or less true at the moment, LOL.

Vance was now frustrated. He didn't especially like being restrained in this manner.

Combat Maneuver: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24

Vance pulled himself free from the webs. He then started running towards the end of the field as fast as he could to make up for lost time.

Vance? What path did you take? Planning on Tumbling?

Through difficult terrain? That'll quite the check to avoid an AoO

Male Human Unchained Monk/2

Sorry I forgot to specify, was in a bit of pain that day. Vance is going to travel out of the webbed area diagonally(V13,W14) and then towards the ball.

Garridan turns around within the mass of webbing and whips another boomerang from his belt to send it flying after Vance; however.....

Not sure how I missed that part... That would likely change Garridan's actions, but we can keep it as is if you prefer. Here's an Escape Artist check in the event you allow a retcon.

That's fine. I'm going to keep the 1 though. No escaping that. :)

The tugging and fighting against the web yanked on something unseen. Ariela's eyes widened in the fraction of a moment an invisible pole sticking out of the ground suddenly revealed itself in a ring of fire.

Luckily no one was nearby the trap, but the web did burn away quickly.

Now unanchored, the web spell discorporated into strands of gossamer. Guardian was suddenly struggling against nothing.

Well that could have been a lot worse. The web spell is gone. The fire pole trap is marked on the map.

Talas, you're up.

The caster with the strange flail frowned. "You made the trigger too sensitive."

Thedra shrugged. "You knew they were fire traps, Vedic. Should have cast Entangle."

The caster, Vedic furrowed his brows. "I am not a druid."

Thedra smiled. "Should have cast whatever the sorcererish version of Entangle is."

It was Vedic's turn to shrug. "Fine."

He started casting a spell.

"If you cast Black Tentacles I'm going to make you run laps." Darian deadpanned.

Vedic stopped.

As stated, Talas isn't doing anything this round but his earlier bluff (DC 18) that he's still unconscious.

Talas does his best not to move when the flames burn away the web, all too conscious that Ariela is still within striking distance and that an attempt to stand from him will result in, most likely, another jaw-cracking punch. He concentrates on keeping his breathing shallow and not giving any clues that he's actually awake.

Unsure of his condition, Ariela watches as Vance moves towards their ball. He'd always been faster than her especially when it came to defense, but this time she had an edge. This time he was a target so big she couldn't miss. Running after him in perfect silence, she launches herself into a flying kick dead center of his kidney.

Eythil was still reeling from having been caught up in the webs and then being released from the blast of fire. He was then awed by seeing Ariela charge the much larger Vance and managing to flying kick him hard enough to send the giant man down. She really was amazing as she had taken down not one but two of their opposing team. Though he supposed Garridan had helped.

He glanced at the group on the side including Thedra, he wasn't sure how they did it, but he was certain they had been the cause of the webs. Unsure as to what might happen if he stayed in one spot with so many others he focused his attention back to the field which he was beginning to realize was far more dangerous than he originally thought.

Still recovering from the hit he'd taken he moved slowly towards the end that had Teral.

Eythil moves to O-9. Not even a full move due to all the distractions he had on his turn.

Eythil nodded and followed after Ariela's lead. He was feeling like he'd recovered all the way and wondered if he could make it past Teral who had moved directly into the way of his path.

They're both so amazing. Is it really okay for me not to do anything while my teammates do everything else?

He glanced back at Ariela and then looked past Teral to the ball on their opponents side of the field.

"How can I save people if I'm always the one needing to be helped?"

Even as Ariela moved across the field, Eythil looked at her, grinned, and started running straight at Teral. Imagining that Teral was one of those... things he had seen the day he'd been pulled out of the blackness of the Abyss by Ariela, and imagining the ball was someone he needed to save, he started running at Teral

Round 5: Eythil is effectively charging the medicine ball and is overrunning Teral to get there.

Having heard Ariela's shouted orders to Garridan-- and knowing full well his friend's skill with his thrown weaponry, as the other man's accuracy had saved his life many a time-- Talas continued to lay still, running options through his mind. With the webs scorched away, there was nothing to use for cover, and he'd be an easy mark should he stand. He didn't even have many of his possessions with him to try and use as distractions, as he'd dropped his pack back on the other end of the field.

Talas breathed shallow, feeling his wounds continue to close.

Bluff to continue to feign unconsciousness?: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12

His face really hurt where Ariela had punched it, though. Hurt, and itched. Talas shifted minutely, unable to keep entirely still.

Passing/delaying this round as well; Talas is biding his time to wait for a better moment basically.

Garridan smirks as he spots Talas shifting around, trying very hard to play possum and not being entirely successful. He was tempted to let his boomerang fly right that moment, but he paused... "Stay down, Talas. I'd rather not have to knock you back unconscious if I don't have to."

"Hoo boy," Teral muttered to himself, rolling his shoulder. Weaving his fingers back and forth, he called up a shield of shimmering light around himself with a swift invocation as he took a few steps forward.

"You know," he called out good-naturedly to the rest of the field, "It seems like things might be a bit one-sided at this point."

Talas feels a little more healing ooze into him, but he still feels as though a moose danced on his skull. He twists around on his belly enough to watch Ariela pummel Teral, wincing a little.

It would be foolishness to stand up when he knows quite well Garridan will make good on his promise, however reluctantly. Instead, Talas slides a dagger free of its spot in his boot, but makes no hostile moves with it. At least he feels slightly better with a weapon in hand. He continues to watch, eyes narrowed; the battlefield has contained surprises so far courtesy of the people testing them. Maybe there'll be more of them. Maybe he'll have a moment in which the odds turn more his favor.

Round 6:

Eythil let out several pained breaths as he stopped running. That swing had hurt him pretty bad but the magic of the field was already making the pain lessen by the second. Glancing behind him he saw Teral backing up, swinging at Ariela, who had made it to him.

He moved his gaze back down to the whole point of these games, this black ball they were supposed to grab and take back to their side of the field. Unsure of what else to do, he bent down to pick the ball up off the ground, wincing in pain as he did but he exhaled and lifted the ball off the ground.

Eythil is going to lift the ball off the ground and start moving back across the field with it. They only weigh thirty pounds so he should be able to move with it freely enough. I plan to move to space G-12. That is of course, assuming the sideline group doesn't do anything crazy with held actions or the like.
