At first you can take frost bomb at first level as the first discovery and also stagger targets if they fail a fort save. At level 6 you can take the breath weapon bomb and do bomb damage to all targets in 15-foot cone. And you will get access to Form of the Dragon one level before even a wizard. Might look into the Master Cymist prestige class too.

Excellent ideas! I think I'll take Precise Bombs first, just so I don't barbecue the baby. Master Chymist is very tempting.

wow! You went serious min-max! haha let me just mention that if you need to leave any weight on Sidgiwick's dog Bentham, I'm sure he'd be glad to help with that, and/or to sharing any equipment so you don't have to walk around totally over encumbered!
Unless I'm mistaken, your max light load is 9.5, medium is 19.75, and your heavy load caps out at 30. Your armor alone weighs 10! D:
We'll definitely have to get you a masterwork backpack at some point, that should help some!
Sidgiwick is in the same boat, he doesn't even have a backpack because with such a low strength there's really no point in carrying anything but armor and a weapon! Luckily he's got a pack-dog :P

I love the backstory!

Shadow Lodge

I have updated Draahzin Greyscale's backstory to include why he's on the mission. While he does not care that much about the baby, he's been given an order by the elders and he'll carry out his duty to the tribe. He sees himself as the group's protector on this mission although he can get rather bossy at times when he believes in a proper course of action.

Ah! I knew I was forgetting something! I managed to completely forget about carrying capacity. Shuffled his stats around a bit so he isn't completely bogged down. Thank you for the reminder, and the kind words.

well woah, don't UN-minmax! that seems so...practical :P As I said, Sidgiwick would definitely make some room on the dog (especially if it means someone in the party weaker than he is!)

Also, I didn't mean to be a stickler, I just thought it would be a fun game detail haha I don't know if that would bother anybody else, but it certainly wouldn't bother me if we were just to say it's reasonable for you to carry the little gear you had without worrying about encumbrance!

Draahzin: look at all those weapons man! what a boss haha. I wonder if Glyphar and Bentham would have been friendly, and how that would affect our character's relationship.

If one were male and the other female, they might be very friendly.

Shadow Lodge

Draahzin was able to loot a good deal of weapons in his time. He has a weapon for every situation. He does move around in a medium load though with his equipment but as he wears medium armor anyway it does not affect him that much. Eventually he'll get himself a bigger mount as he has gone Beast Rider.

Okay, apologies for the delay. I hope there is still some moderate interest left for the game. If there are still folks wanting to jump in, I'll give until Wednesday to submit a concept, Friday to finalize it. At that point, I'll pick the group and send them on their way!

So far, these are the current submissions I can see/find, in no particular order.

-ZapZap, Female Barbarian
-Gurlzick, Male Monk
-Fyrenmar, Male Oracle
-Sidgiwick, Male Cleric
-Draz the Hatcher, Male Wizard
-Jayik, Male Alchemist
-Greyscale, Male Cavalier

If I've missed any, please let me know. The final group will likely be from 4-6 (possibly more if we have one or two stragglers, we'll see.)

I am actually going to have to withdraw my submission. Thanks for the consideration though.

Shame about Fyrenmar :( I am very excited about this game!

Sorry to hear that, Fyrenmar. We'll miss ya.

As it seems like we've got a gang of 6 now, I think I'll go ahead and close recruitment. I'm going to throw up a discussion page and gameplay page. If you all could, dot in the discussion; when everyone is reporting in, we'll get started on the gameplay!
