REPORTING FOR DUTY!

Lantern Lodge

Mini, if you want to pick up the Noble Scion feat (or Extra Traits), you could consider waiting on Deceitful since it is one of the bonus feats you can pick when the rebellion reaches Rank 4.

Or you can add Alertness, Persuasive or Stealthy at that point.

Unnamed

Mmmm that might be a good idea. Though some of those others are always good...noble scion is interesting...really interesting

Unnamed

im doing it

Noble Scion: Vashnarstil, swapping out Arcana for nobility and work in a book store bc of the linguistics ability

swapped trait to pragmatic activator and just need to figure out what item i want worth 200. thoughts DM?

Lantern Lodge

You could bump your thieves tools to masterwork, but you'd be leaving 100 gp on the table.

Unnamed

I took a forgers Kit. I figure that could be useful

Scarab Sages

i'll have my fellow created at some point tonight

Scarab Sages

so silly question, can we take two campaign traits, I would like to take Child of Kintargo and star struck.

Lantern Lodge

Yes, that is an item that might have some utility in this game.

I don't see a concern with two campaign traits. Go ahead.

Male Half-elf Expert 8 / HP:39|40 / AC:20 T:14 FF:16 / F+3 R+9 W+8 / Init +8 / CMB+4 CMD 17 /

Will you allow tiefling as a pc race? I have a concept that I would like to build with a tiefling - if you have any concerns, I can build the same concept with a half-elf.

Also - are you allowing the 3rd trait/drawback option? I may take advantage if you are, and won't bother looking if you do not.

Male Human 1 Cleric

This is the nine's charector, I dont have it all typed in yet, I did have a question on the 200 gp noble gold. I could use that on say MW studded leather? Or would you prefer it on something more mundance and funsical?

Lastly, what is your ruling on the estoc

If you will allow it as my weapon then I will be taking the feat to use it proficeiently one handed if not, well than some other fun non-normal sword. :)

Make way for the factotum of the city,
Hurrying to his shop for it's already dawn.
Ah, what a fine life, what fine pleasure
For a barber of quality!

Ah, bravo Figaro!
Bravo, bravissimo!
Most fortunate indeed!

Ready to do everything
Night and day,
Always on the move.
A cushier fate for a barber,
A more noble life, is not to be had.

Razors and combs,
Lancets and scissors,
At my command
Everything's there.
Here are the tools
Of my trade
With the ladies...with the gentlemen...

Everyone asks for me, everyone wants me,
Ladies, young lads, old men, young girls:
Here is the wig... The beard is ready...
Here are the leeches...
The note is ready...
Here is the wig, the beard is ready,
The note is ready, hey!

Figaro! Figaro! Figaro!, etc.
Dear me, what frenzy!
Dear me, what a crowd!
One at a time, for pity's sake!
Hey, Figaro! I'm here.
Figaro here, Figaro there,
Figaro up, Figaro down.

Swifter and swifter, I'm like a thunderbolt:
I'm the factotum of the city.
Ah, bravo Figaro! Bravo, bravissimo,
You'll never lack for luck!

Another noble scion! I wonder if our families get along...

Longsword!? You can use a Greataxe! Use a greataxe!

The mighty axe can strike harder but less often. The long blade has a greater chance to strike through the weakspots of armorBetter crit chance

Falchion!!!

Alas! I am just a poor bard and cannot afford one! I have merely a paltry 22 gold coins while the falchion costs 75!

FALCHION!!!!!!!!

1 person marked this as a favorite.

FALCHION PAUNCCHHHHH!!!

Male Human 1 Cleric

Is your house pro thrune or anti thrune mini?

I am ok with tieflings, but make sure you understand what that means in Cheliax. They are not looked upon favorably and there will be a lot of roleplay and social interaction in this campaign.

I would rather not use the drawbacks.

I'm fine using it on MW studded leather.

I will allow it as a weapon. You would need to take exotic weapon proficiency to get the Weapon Finesse bonus. Sounds like that is your plan anyway.

Mini's house is Vashnarstil and like Jarvis, that is one of the houses that is not hard core Thrune.

Male Human 1 Cleric

Then i would imagine as long as he doesnt have designs on my beloved Shensen we can be friends :P

Lantern Lodge

@Beorn - At 1st level, you can pick one district of the city for your Famous ability. At 5th level, you can add two additional districts (total of three). At 9th level it will cover the entire city.

Lantern Lodge

Dancing lights warning. The way I play dancing lights is that at the start of combat I roll a d10 and that determines how many rounds of dancing lights are left.

Lantern Lodge

@Beorn - I know mechanically your Infernal language selection is aok, but please go ahead and tie it into your background in some way. If you need some ideas, let me know.

Lantern Lodge

@Beorn - Your skill points are off by 2. Might be from dialing down from a higher point buy originally.
@Beorn - I think you only have one of your two traits. Looking for Idol is your Reason for Protest and only applies to the opening scene.

Dropped Know-Noble and Acrobatics

Other Trait is Diva in Training

Infernal language was part of his education at the 'disadvantaged youth' center. Part of the education that would help him establish himself in politics or the arts

Chose Jarvis End as starting district

Liberty's Edge

Male Half-orc Warrior 4/Expert 1
Combat:
Throwing Axe Melee +10 (1d6+4) | Throwing Axe Ranged +8 (1d6+5) | Morning Star +9 (1d8+4)
skills:
Climb +8, Disable Device +5, Escape Artist +5, Intimidate +10, Knowledge (dungeoneering) +6, Knowledge (local) +11, Knowledge (nobility) +6, Perception +7, Sleight of Hand +5, Stealth +8, Swim +8
Vitals:
HP 47/47 | AC:17, T:11, F:14 | CMD:19, CMB:+8 | Save (F+6, R+2, W+3) | Init:+1 | Perc: +7 | Shirona (Pygmy Hippo)

Will have a character posted by the end of tomorrow. Baby is almost here- scheduled for C-Section next Wednesday, unless the baby decides to arrive early.

Joe- were you interested in playing our sister characters for the PBP? I know we originally built with a 20 point buy but we could back it down to 15.

Best wishes

Beorn the Divine wrote:

Got it. That takes care of it.

Beorn the Divine wrote:

I see that one. Looking for Idol does not count as a trait. It is a special bonus for Hell's Rebels. Do you have one other? If not, pick one.

Beorn the Divine wrote:

Ok, we can work with that. I think we'll put some definition around this location.

Beorn the Divine wrote:

That works.

Good luck!

Lantern Lodge

@Eddlestan - got a bunch of feedback for your character sheet, but first can you let me know if you are an inquisitor or magus? If inquisitor, who is your god?

Male Human 1 Cleric

Magus I debated both ways but going that route
:)

Its not entirely finished was waiting on the estoc ruling before i tidied things up but shoot

Oh poop I see the confusion, I copied a sheet from my inquisiter and edited out.. or thought i did, it must not have took I will fix that right now sorry >.<

Ok since we already have a Magus then I am going to play a Cleaner! I've wanted to play that archtype since I first saw it and it was specifically mentioned in the guide as a good choice! So I will be playing a Cleaner and will have the details posted by the end of tomorrow.

Lantern Lodge

@Mini - you doing regular charlatan rogue or unchained charlatan rogue?

I have a cleaner for PFS. He's a lot of fun!

No worries. Once you get it cleaned up, I'll have another look and see if anything still needs adjustments.

Male Human 1 Cleric

Crunch should be updated, Will make the backgrounds and appearance probably tomorrow, the sleep monster just snuck up behind me and hit me with a chair.

Lantern Lodge

I hear you! See you tomorrow. Here are some things to look at:
- You should have one more point left in your point buy (you're at 14/15)
- Technically you aren't supposed to be able to select Exotic Weapon Proficiency until your BAB is +1, but I'm willing to house rule that we'll ignore that prereq
- I think you have one too many languages
- Watch encumbrance. You're 14 pounds into a medium load.
- You have one unused skill rank. You should probably just put it into Knowledge (local) because if you're not trained the max DC you can achieve is DC 10.

I went with the classic couragous trait. BEORN LAUGHS AT FEAR!
