init: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

Zariya Ameerah |

Initiative: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
I'm assuming Zariya is in front, since that's where I said she'll be... So she'll get an attack of opportunity against the doll that beat her in initiative due to combat reflexes and reach.
Slice in twain: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 damage: 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14
Zariya is surprised by the encounter, but her training kicks in and she lashes out at the first one to approach her. Her magnificent fauchard goes in a beautiful arc as she tries to split the little construct in two.

stormcrow27 |

Zariya's blow cleaves the doll in two. That takes care of the one on init 14. The other two dolls advance towards the group. Zariya, roll another attack of opportunity, and then the doll on 18 will go, then you, then the doll on 17, then Varisia, Zohreh, and Jandar-Ki. Currently the dolls are 10 ft away advancing on Zariya.

Zariya Ameerah |

Are you using normal initiative rules? If so Zariya should have been before the one on 17 due to having a higher modifier (that's the tiebreaker).
Attack of opportunity: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 damage: 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
Zariya smiles wildly as she slices one doll in half, before spinning in a beautiful and deadly circle and taking out another one. My training is paying off! Her movements are powerful, graceful and deadly. The soft jingle of her armor and dull thuds of her boots are acompanied by the harsh sounds of her blade smashing through the tiny constructs.
The AoO above is better than the previous one, so I assume it'll kill another one, if that means Zariya is before the last one, due to being tied on 17 she'll get to go next. I'll prepare a round below in case she is up next:
"Taking out dolls is child's play. Follow my lead and we'll smash them to bits!" She starts out gentle and laughing but her voice increases to a crescendo, like the roar of a lion. Yet again her deadly polearm comes around in a deadly arc aimed at the last doll.
Swift action for Encouraging Roar followed by standard for:
Silver Strike, roll 1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22 Silver Strike, roll 2: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27 Critical Confirm: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 damage: 1d10 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17

Zohreh of the Bulls |

Well, that rather gave away the game... are the rest of us not acting, then?

Zariya Ameerah |

Zariya strikes through the last doll and the pieces fall to the floor with a thud before silence is all that remains in the tomb yet again. She's kinda stunned at her own performance, she had not expected her training to be that effective in her first battle, though at the same time she is kinda proud. She looks back at her companions with a proud smile before studying the contents of the room.
Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18

Any more doors or other exits?
Zariya goes around and studies the chests and urns, trying to figure out if they hide anything of value or danger, but without touching anything yet.

Varisia removes his hand from his club as he watches the second doll fall lifeless in prices to the floor. He shoots a smile to Zariya and releases this held breath. 'That was impressive. You'll have to show me some of those moves back at the inn
The Archaeologist regathers the masks and carries them to one of the chests and sets the masks carefully next to it. He looks to Jandar-ki and nods to one of the other chests. 'Race you?' he suggests with a smile.

"I'm sorry, did I miss something? Sometimes I inadvertently time jump. A small side affect of manipulating the paths." Jandar-ki shrugs, then turns to Varisia, "Oh, we've got work to do? Sure, I'll take the one on the left." Jandar-Ki cracks his knuckles and then gets to work.

The chests, the urn and the rest of the room is not trapped. You find mostly mundane weapons (spears, swords, and so on), but there is a masterwork khopesh and spear. The scarab shaped shield is also quite well made. Inside of the chests you find a sack filled with 100 gold pieces and 42 silver pieces, and several scroll tubes filled with Ancient Osiriani writing.

Zohreh of the Bulls |

Zohreh tries to make sense of the ancient writings using her knowledge of modern Osiriani.

Zariya Ameerah |

"Sure, I'll do my best to show you. Though fighting with this weapon isn't easy. I'm not sure how well it can be replicated with another weapon. Zoreh's weapon is somewhat similar, but with the edge being the other way it's much harder to land the real powerful blows. I'll see what we can do." Zariya says with excitement. She's quite happy to do so well. "Jandar-Ki, you didn't see the dolls attacking?"
Zariya helps gathering and carrying most of the stuff they find.

Zohreh of the Bulls |

Nope. Thinking it should be my next background skill, though.

Varisia James |

'Hang on, I think I can sort of read this one,' Varisia says unrolling one of the scrolls 'and if I use this one to cross reference this one. Yes, yes! I think I can translate these!'
The archaeologist quickly spreads the scrolls on top of the chests along with the gold plated books for earlier and begins to quickly scan them all trying to glean meaning from them.
As he works, his eyes frequently wander over to the pile of items radiating magical auras. His curiosity gets the better of him and he turns his attention to the collection of various pieces of equipment. drawing in a deep breath and focusing his mind, Varisia studies the items intently, attempting to learn their secrets.

Varisia James |

The masks are Mumu's chief fabric buyer, stitcher, and two models, as any quality historian will tell you. Honored to enter the afterlife with their master to design for the gods themselves.
'This shield is pretty useful, first it can help bolster your courage and provide you with a burst of vitality if you begin to get weary during battle. Second it naturally repels hordes of vermin. They can't stand the thing. These,' he gestures to the vials, 'are a pair of minor healing potions and an a concoction that will let you see in the dark for a short time.'

"Jandar-Ki, you didn't see the dolls attacking?"
This was more tongue-in-cheek metagame commentary on the quickness of the battle and the wall of posts ending in no action. Not to be taken seriously/literally.

The room opens into another 20 x 20 room, with double doors leading to the east and the west. A massive mirror stand on the south, flanked by two statues. One is the statue of a woman with winged arms carrying a basket standing on a tower, while the other is a jackal headed man carrying a staff tipped with an ankh. Dust covers everything, and there are torch holders carved in the shape of bird skulls on each corner of the room. No apparent creatures are in sight or detected by the keen eye of the group.

She walks up to the mirror, approaching it along the side and not looking directly into it, and, as is her usual approach, pokes it with her glaive.

I think it was quite a fun roleplay twist on what happened that made a lot of sense. Playing out the rolled 1s can be fun. Why downplay it?

Zariya Ameerah |

Zariya walks over to the statues and studies them for anything hidden before proceeding to study the mirror. "It looks like these things are nothing special. I have no idea who they are supposed to be. Let's just continue on." If nothing is revealed either by her or one of the others she proceeds to the eastern doors, studies them before opening it to look beyond.

Varisia suddenly slaps his forehead.
'Why couldn't I see it before? It's the only thing that makes sense. Followers of Neith would often hold one final show of their work on the loom before they moved on to the afterlife. This mirror represented the deceased's eyes. The Mausayr,' he gestures down the length of the floor between the door and mirror, 'must have run here. With a designer of Mumu's stature it must have been some show.'
still waiting to see if we can get the mirror out and what price I think we'll fetcch

Pillars line the walls of this regular chamber, interspersed with stone jackal heads lining the walls. At the eastern end of the 25x20 foot room sits an altar. Behind the altar sits a nest, containing two bizarre looking creatures. They look like this
