Rylla Cyn |
Coruscant - the Undercity - Outside - Rylla Cyn
Rylla frowns. Most folks would read it as a look of dissapointment, but it was a well placed facial gesture to act along the flow of where Rylla wanted the conversation to go. Trading words were like trading blaster fire, those who got too panicky were bound to be shot down. You just need a well-placed pause, the right expression for the target, and quality words to round out the perfect shot.
"Really? A target I can believe is a secret, after all, a bounty or abduction can pay well and no one gives a tip on a score without good reason. I suggest a simple "stay out of our way" tip-off to each other, and you'd rather have our friends spooked at each other if someone pulls a blaster."
She lets her words hang like a thermal detonator primed, the echoes pinging as the facts she laid out started to form an ironclad logic.
Persuasion: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17
"Prove to me you can work with other professionals, and then we can trade names."
Phedra |
Stealth: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (11) + 19 = 30
The Lurmen quietly glides out of the crowd as Cardis is distracted by the woman at the bar... "I would say it is a little too late to avoid giving yourself away. I won't tell our handlers if you don't... now if you will excuse me, I have a slicer to verify. Be a dear and watch my back."
...and the Lurmen glides back in to the crowd, hopping up beside her target and sitting casually on an empty bar stool. "I am so glad you finally showed. My name is Phedra, and what name do you go by deary? I do find it helpful to know who I am dealing with. Oh, and before you get any ideas, you can signal your doorman to stand down, I would rather we stay civil for this little talk."
Cardis Rin |
Cardis gives a start as the Lurmen pops out of hiding, then offers half a grin. Resourceful. I'm impressed. He whispers to the Lurmen, [smaller]"Don't worry - we'll keep an eye out. Just don't kriff up."
Cardis takes care to not to pay too close attention to the conversation, paying attention only to the periphery. He says to Noss, "Comm Dashwind and tell him the Lurmen has made contact. We'll have to find out how he figured out we were here to back him up later." He makes sure to indicate that they should maintain their Collective identities for now.
