Round 1:
Skrelznit climbs into the rigging to get out of the reach of the dead things, then calls forth a blast of water at the thing across from him, hoping to push it over into the ocean.
You dead things is too slow for us-k-k-k!
The corpse fly off the ship and into the waters.
Sassarra Burns through the rope nearest her with a blade of lightning.
The rope snaps, but the other three sill hold the ship.
Drawing a clawed finger across his palm, Taalik smears his own blood across his face. "If dare be life upon my face, den da lost souls of da locka will no be able to take my soul."Letting out a mighty roar, Taalik calls on the blood of the dragon as he steps toward the closest water-logged corpse, and swings his mighty sword at the cursed creature.
The undying corpse takes the full blow; and shows it. But still stands.
Skrelznit cheers at Taalik's show of strength.
Woot! Woot-k-k-k! Slice 'em, dice 'em, throw 'em in the stew-k-k-k!
Send them to the bottom of the deep, dark blue-k-k-k!

Start of Round 2:
As the ghost ships pulls on the hooks, your ship is not only pulled closer to the ghost ship, but also shifts down into the water a few feet. If nothing is done, then your ship will start to sink in a few minutes.
A bell can be heard ringing from the ghost ship.

If that's not possible, can we say that he jumped down and ran the remainder? I think that's within movement range, and I'll take whatever falling damage is required. Ordinarily at a face-to-face game I would ask first, but I'm trying to keep the flow going. Apologies if I overstepped.

His taunts look to anger the captain; cutting at the rope more so.
I'm confused. Did I successfully cut the rope, or are you warning me that I'll be skewered if I do so? Seems like to Skrelznit cutting the ropes is the primary concern. Skrelznit *hates* the combat modifiers from fighting underwater. And drowning. That's also bad.

Hokina |

Yes; Skrelznit cut the rope. Just saying Cutting the rope and taunting him makes Skrelznit a big target now.
I will try to post the undead's actions in the next hour or so. I am in game right now.
Right now there is 7 undead know to the party. 2 on your ship. 2 in the water. 3 on the ghost ship; 2 crew, and the captain.

Sassarra |

So these creatures have a special ability to stop people with AoO's? It's not clear. If I didn't get to finish my move and attack the rope, can I at least take my attack on the creature?
Sassarra goes down under the assault.
Conga rats Grauchi!

![]() |

Congrats, Grauchi!
I'm confused. First, I thought cutting the rope would drop the sailor who was using it to traverse between ships (which turned out the be captain) into the water. Second, how did I get to the enemy ship?

Hokina |

@Sassarra:
After checking with the OFFICIAL FAQ, I see you still get your movement if you fail the acrobatics; you still take the AOO.
All ropes have been cut for now.
@Skrelznit:
Oh, I took swing to the "far railing" to mean you were trying to swing over to the other ship.
I will think about what to do to fix the misunderstanding later (I have a game starting soon).
