Kishara
|
As the undead sphinx crawled out of it's pit, Kishara shuddered to feel it moving behind her. When the mummy went down, she shifted gears and closed on the Pharaoh's pet. Tumbling beneath the creature's reach, she rolled out of a somersault onto her feet and stabbed upward at the monster.

It looks to me that Henrick has a good 5' walkway beside the pit and can move right past it - true? If so, he does - but if not, he will take some other action...

The pit should actually go bye-bye at some point, yes?
Kishara grits her teeth as the creature lands a bite and a claw on her and then lashes back with both blades. Hearing Soul's statement, she took a step back to hopefully give the creature some room to advance or at least a spot for him to move in.

And with that, the undead Sphinx also joins it's master - released to the worlds beyond.
Sekh-pa-Mefer crumbles to dust, leaving behind only his mummified right hand.
Filled with grave goods and the wealth of the ancient pharaoh, this burial chamber could represent the single greatest find in modern Osirionology.
His wooden sarcophagus is crafted of rare woods and embellished with gold leaf and precious inlays, and is clearly worth a small fortune. The other grave goods in the burial chamber, consisting of clothing, furniture, jewelry, weapons, and other items for the pharaoh’s use in the afterlife are also quite valuable.
Among them are two items of note: an engraved green gem and a tiny silver figurine of a sphinx and both glow with magical auras.
Lastly, transcriptions or rubbings of the hieroglyphs on the walls of the burial chamber would be worth a small fortune to a historian interested in the details of Sekh-pa-Mefer’s reign.
The place returns to silence.

Henrick examines the hand, and makes detailed notes about everything in the room, including making rubbings of the walls.
Kishara
|
Kishara blinks in surprise as the mummy disintegrates.
"Well, that was something, eh? Have we uncovered anything useful?" She said, looking to Enora.
Her violet eyes looked to every crack in the stonework here, making sure there were no more hidden rooms to access.
Take 20 on Perception to search room: 20 + 10 = 30
Looks like we still have more pyramid to explore, even if we did skip to the boss. Figure we should try to identify the goodies before moving on though.
Agraic

Even though he's not very good with figuring things *out*, the stress-case calms down and takes a few deep breaths as he dutifully copies and rubs walls, taking advantage of being bigger for bigger area coverage as he follows Henrick's lead.
Which will then shrink down when he shrinks at the end of the spell, of course...
Kel Na' Yaa

Kel stands guard as the group takes care of the rubbing and writing, making sure nothing ambushes them.

"Explore, Report, Cooperate, right?" Agraic quips a bit as Kish finds the secret entrance. "Typically, when folks build a secret passage, they don't tend t' fortify for it, right? So it might be a better route t' take? Let's do it."

"I'm with Kel on this. Explore. Report. Cooperate. I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but we get all spread out over Hell's half-acre, and we'll get picked off faster than you can say 'Ancient Osiran Deathtrap'. Now, maybe you an' Kon are down for that, but I'd honestly rather not deal with the stress of carrying your body outta the pyramid to give it a proper burial. So if'n y'd please... just... slow... down...? Thanks."

A secret door is located eventually.
After carrying out due diligence and locating no traps or tricks, the door is cracked open.
Sumptuous hanging silks, plush cushions, and patterned rugs decorate this luxurious chamber. A cool breeze bearing the mingled scent of lotus flowers and perfume wafts through the room. The distant notes of a lively tune plucked out on a lyre are accompanied by the sounds of trickling water, birdsong, and feminine laughter.
"Come in, guests!" comes a warm greeting, "We have wine and fruit!" inside you can see two beautiful Osiriani who have risen to greet you - regal in bearing and showing perfectly cultivated manners.

Moved Kel up since he did the finding this time.
Kish casts glances around at her fellow Pathfinders with wide, bewildered eyes. "Did we miss anyone arriving ahead or behind us, do you think?" She said low to the others.

Always beware the best-looking women. They'll rob you and leave you in a gutter and come out smelling like a rose.
That thought comes from somewhere in the addled half-elf's memories, and he squints as he enters the room, watching for any sort of imperfections or clues that this may not be as it seems. It's... rather off-putting even for someone who's not the sharpest tool in the shed.

You have come via his chamber... but you are different, why are travellers in here?" They ask enquiringly.
"You do not wish to share our hospitality?" they seem concerned that somehow they have give offence and that is why people wont come in and eat and drink with them.
"We just long for some new stories"
