I can open both maps without any issue Shalafi - are you logged into your google account?
Are we free to position ourselves however we wish on the combat map, assuming that would be our location once the combat begins or..?

I dont have a google account. You are free to move but please tell me the way that you move. You wouldnt want the goblins or any other monsters to be denied an AoO or visa versa.

I want to make sure I am reading this right since this is the first time I have played an alchemist. I have "spells" but they are extracts. I can only use them personally until I get the right discovery right?

Question: how closely are trying to adhere to normal PF rules?
I want to tailor my gaming (which truly is more RP inspired), but also want to be clear about game rules, mechanics, and whatnot.
No, I'm not a rules lawyer: in that I won't argue my point and am happy to go with the flow.
Should we work together for clean ruled play?
Or have a more easy going, less rulesy game?
I'm open to either.

Ok. so I went back last night and re-read the alchemist entry for like the 4th time. I cannot make my extracts passable to others until I take the discovery BUT I can make potions for anyone to drink, right?

yes, as long as you follow the rules for making potions (level limits, etc.)

3rd level is the max for potions.
This really is an interesting class. What do you think of some of the archetypes like the gnome specific one from ARG and the one that preserves little animals or monsters, like Rita Repulsa?

My favorite is the Grenadier. I like the class and the options you can do with it. I'm running a Crypt Breaker in a different game (Phineas the Grey). He has some rogue trap finding and disarming, which can be helpful for certain group set ups.

I think that it is a neat class. I can hardly wait for the book on alchemy to come out.

Question!! I guess I should have mentioned this a while back since I think it is taken as a groundrule....
Do we agree that Italics means internal and private monologue?
Is that the convention we're playing under? Because, if not, I'll need to adjust my posting accordingly.
I mention this because Kast uses a lot of internal monologue as a way to flesh out his character. While I think that some of Kast's thoughts might be plain, some deeper emotions might be less evident. I don't mind reactions to general mood, but there are some thoughts that just wouldn't be evident to a newcomer or casual acquaintance.
For instance, Kast hasn't mentioned to anyone that he wants to be a soldier...but long term residents know he's in the militia and could probably guess that.
Now, if some people have Detect Thoughts or similar running, I would certainly expect Kast's surface thoughts to be more open.
Any thoughts on this?

All of a sudden the elf woman has become a very dear friend to you.
I see this and am happy to play it out, but have questions.
1. If this is a saving throw type effect, Kast would be resisting it. In general, GM's in PbP will usually include two pieces of information when spells are cast:
a. A blue line description of the spell save. For example: Please make a DC 30 will save.
b. You can roll the save or ask the player to roll the save. We should have our saves in our stat lines. In this case, Kast's Will is +2.
c. A spoiler that has a Spellcraft DC when appropriate. Only players who roll higher who have Spellcraft and match or beat the DC may use the information in the spoiler for game purposes. For example:
2. If this is a 'because-I-said-so' GM move, just say that was well. Those things are sometimes necessary.
3. In the near future, since we have a great number of great roleplayers in this game, I hope that we have a chance to again interact and play with each other. While I've enjoyed the current RP with the Elf, I'm trying to get others involved as well. Group interactions are really important.
