Sorry...I feeling a bit hazy right at the moment. We were busy with our own....distractions, and then I was laying down and just didn't have the energy to get up right away, then I had to soak in the tub since my knee is still bothering me pretty bad from falling on it last week. Then I had to finish up with a shower and get the pizza put in the oven and then here I am. The heat feels like it's literally draining all the energy right outta me. Now with stupid wayfinder not working, my posting ability is limited and I feel cut off from people.
Seriously though, in case there was trouble, I was trying to figure out just how close to me you were sleeping. Like, am I gonna trip over yer ass if I wake up to yelling and rush to get out of the bed? Stuff like that. The other thing was the furthest from my mind. Lol

Dude...it's all good. You don't have to defend yourself to me. Lol I was just trying to figure out where in relative proximity you were. If you're just in the same room, you might not be right next to the bed, in which case I don't have to worry about stepping on you if I have to get up in the middle of the night, or in a hurry. Whereas if you were sleeping on floor next to the bed, that might be a different story. But...why would you sleep on the floor next to Derika if there were other rooms with much softer beds to sleep on? That's the only things I was wondering about really.

I don't really watch a lot of the brainless box. There's not a whole lot out there that actually holds my interest long enough to get interested in a show, and the things I do get interested in I can usually find on Netflix. I'm not sure I've even heard of community. When you said "Abed" I thought it was some old timey word meaning you were just tired and looking for a place to sleep or something. I thought I was just being funny....but apparently I had no clue. As usual. Lol I really am rather oblivious to lots of things. Well...I'm like super tired and I got one more day of work this week. The kids are having a "water day" tomorrow....so I gotta figure out what shoes I can wear that I don't mind getting messed up while taking my other pair and some socks with me.

Eh...it's okay. I get enough of dealing with people that have no clue how to act around other people at work. I reserve what little tv I do watch to primarily anime and nonsense silly fantasy shows. Like The Almighty Johnsons....a show about Norse Gods stuck in human bodies. Hilarious....but then I'm a bit of an odd duck when it comes to taste in shows.

I don't know how we would wake up anyways since we're not sleeping in the same room. This used to be an inn...so there are actual rooms...with beds in them, though somewhat dilapidated still serviceable. So, unless you were sleeping out in the main room, I doubt you'd hear it anyways unless they are deliberately trying to wake us up. I mean like, our comrades are trying to wake us up. Derika is asleep unless someone wakes her up, and if someone wakes her up something better be on fire.

"A poltergeist,an angry spirit that forms from the soul of a creature bount to it's place of death, filled with a hatred for the living."[b] the shamaness says ominously. [b]"Mostly invisible and capable of hurling objects. Best to wake Abigail, I can at least affect our ability to harm it."
Vishanti
Vishanti's eyes take on a deep black cast, emanating an eerie glow from deep within as she begins to so sway in movements at once jerky and fluid, the intricate tattooed patterns along her body taking on a ghostly glow. Opening her mouth she begins to sing, a sonorous, echoing tone that sends a chill though any that can hear it, conjuring images of the grave, the notes just unnatural enough to be disturbing.
Ghostbane Dirge:DC 15 Will. The target coalesces into a semi-physical form for a short period of time. While subject to the spell, the incorporeal creature takes half damage (50%) from nonmagical attack forms, and full damage from magic weapons, spells, spell-like effects, and supernatural effects.

Abby slowly stirs at the pounding at the door. what? a poultry? undead chicken? she stumbles over, still a little tired.
opening the door. oh hey there Jerr, what's all this about? she asks inviting her into the room.
Derika
Telsyn's yelling wakes Derika, but it takes a moment for it to register that he's actually in the room with her. Having been woken from a rather pleasant dream does little to improve her mood, "What in the bloody hell is going on now?!" Getting up out of the bed she nearly falls over Telsyn as he gets up himself, "Tels.....what are you doing in here? What's going on?"

well, I guess that everyone is up now, despite checks, glad Tel was able to determine it was a poltergeist from the word help. sorry but can we please scale back the metagaming some. I will assume for now Abby knew what it was
Abby knows what it is? she can see what it is doing: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
As Jerrica is starting to be dragged off, Abby immediately sends out a wave of divine energy.
By Sarenrae's light, Let her go!
damage to undead: 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (3, 6) + 3 = 12 -- DC 18 will for half damage

Sorry...but since he said he was in the same room with me and with people yelling....not much chance of sleeping through that. Though the poltergeist thing from Jerrica yelling for help was a bit much.
Derika
Okay...as far as I know, Telsyn had decided for some reason to sleep in the room near Derika....which says to me he's somewhere on the floor near the bed. Now we have people yelling for help, which might have been enough to wake him up depending on how close Jerrica was to the room we were sleeping in, so then he starts yelling for some reason while in the room...next to me....I'm sorry but I don't know anyone that can sleep through people yelling in their ear.
Derika groans and keeps herself from falling by grabbing onto the bed, "What is going on and what's all the yelling about?" She still seems a bit out of it as she's still feeling a bit sleepy.

Abby rushes over to see if Jerrica is alright. hoping she is still conscious.
Jerrica, you alright? I need to get you back to my room for safety. Then we or maybe I should go see to the others.
As she assists Jerrica, Derika's voice is heard. Abby responds, something attacked Jerrica, I managed to drive it off but not sure for how long.
When she can get Jerrica in the room Abby casts Protection from evil on her.
Derika
Making it to the door she flings it open as she rubs her eyes, "What do ya mean "something"? Like...you couldn't see it? Is it still here?" She looks around, unsure of what it is that Abby is talking about.
Vishanti
"A poltergeist. An undead rage spirit, that can manipulate the physical world. I have tried pulling it more onto this plane but it managed to resist." Vishanti shouts. "Magic weapons can hurt it somewhat, but mundane ones will be harmless."
Derika
She grunts, "Well...that makes me about bloody useless now doesn't it? What can we possibly do to something like that? Is there a way we can just....I don't know, talk it into leaving or something? It's not like we're planning on staying here long term or anything....we just need some damn decent sleep without being woken up for a change."
