Kandl is going to keep his action: moving 10 squares straight towards the first copse of trees.

M Rattus norvegicus

Ok, let's do this!
I'll count all trees as at least half cover for the purpose of Banes while attacking.

Fast PC:
Kandl, Sköllji, and Jexen all advance forward and get into position.

Fast NPC:
The archer heard your approach and turns to fire an arrow into the group.

BST12345: 2d8 ⇒ (1, 3) = 4

An arrow is launched at Brinda and TAS.
Archer vs Brinda: 1d20 ⇒ 15
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Archer vs TAS: 1d20 ⇒ 12
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Slow PC:
Brinda Rushes forward to get cover within the trees, and finding a good position to sling from.

Cyrenik advances and charges the archer, successfully knocking the arher to the ground.

Slugoth, proving he was born to a race bred for war, charges past everyone straight to the back and lands into the other archer.

Slugoth Shove: 1d20 + 1 - 1d6 ⇒ (20) + 1 - (1) = 20

The archer is shoved into the ground.

TAS loads his crossbow and moves forward into the trees.

Slow NPCs:

The villagers all advance and take the Defend action.

The bandit screams and moves to attack...

CT: 1d2 ⇒ 1

... Cyrenik.

Bandit vs Cyrenik: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11

Cynerik knocks the archer down upon the ground, the man recoiling from the attack. Another bandit comes up, swinging his club at the older man but it is parried away off of the shield. "Remember the basics; strike and parry. Just keep stroking and parrying."

Seizing advantage of the downed archer, Cynerik brings down the club in his hand hard and fast upon the man.

The battle begins to occur en masse now as reinforcements begin to show up. Cynerik's teeth grit as he looks among the chaos around him. "War never changes..." He thinks to himself, the insanity of the fight beginning to consume them. There was a danger, for certain, about letting everything fall to instinct.

"Militia! Stick together! Move as a single unit and engage!" Cynerik's voice cuts through the din of battle like a beast's scream in the night. That humble, warm voice has changed into a harsh, authoritative voice that commands the men around him to act together.

Brinda's voice rises in strength as she completes the incantation, and she points at the archer as the mystical energy is released. She feels his mind with hers, and she gasps as she begins to push and prod clumsily at the man's consciousness.

So targeting archer 3 - if I have to move to do so, slow init, otherwise fast. The bewitch incantation lets me move him a distance up to his speed. Can I get him to walk off the cliff? I'm not doing it to kill him with the fall - although if he takes some damage, great - I just want him to be down among the melee. That work?

Okay, using fortune on that sucker. It's not a clutch situation, but I want Brinda to succeed in casting the spell, to get her in the game :)

Sköllji and Kandl have a contest for who can kill the Bandit leader first, and it's anyone's guess for who actually landed the killing blow as both the axe and the staff hit the bandit leader at seemingly the same time.

Years later, at the Fletcher's Rest Inn, arguments are still held as to which of the two heroes brought down the bandit leader, beer sploshing over the side of the mug as arguments are shouted, "It was Kandl, I tell you! That Goblin proved his worth a thousand times over with that strike!" "Bah, ever'one knows the dwarf and his axe is the one who did it! The goblin may be worth his mettle, but it was the dwarf who laid the final blow!"

T.A.S. is already loading the next bolt into the crossbow as he sees one of the bandits badly injuring the villager. They joined to help us, not to die for us.
"Robos!(V1) Come back! Maybe grab one of the bows lying around here but you have to retreat!"

Then a loud scream sounds over - followed by a surreal ripping of flesh and breaking of bones. T.A.S. looks around but neither can he find the monster nor his victim behind the trees. "Brinda..!" he says, too shocked to scream.

Brinda hears a noise behind her, and turns at the last second to see the horrific thing charging at her. Fear clutches her heart, and from the depths of her stomach erupts a high-pitched scream. She throws herself to the side as it lunges at her. Still screaming, she looks around to see Cynerik and Slugoth fighting in the midst of the remaining bandits. Suddenly unafraid of the bandits, she begins backing away from the abomination as carefully, yet as quickly, as she can.

Using retreat to move diagonally adjacent to Slugoth, between him and the cliff face - in the same row as B2 but one square away from him. Hoping the monster will follow, but run into and attack B3.

The fighting grows heavier and more fierce, despite the leader of the bandits having fallen moments ago. Cynerik's club finds the side of the bandit but it isn't enough to drop him and stop his awful counter attack. The strike passes right over the top of his shield, skimming it and keeping what could've been a killing blow into just a dangerous one.

The bandit's strike clips Cynerik's head and everything blurs for a moment, the world lost in bright light. Somewhere, a scream is heard. When his vision refocuses, he sees the the terrible beast begin to arrive. It goes after Brinda, the tentacle just barely missing her as his heart skips a beat. "Brinda! Get out of there!"

"Men, readjust the line. Get them between you and the beast!" Cynerik barks his orders at the villagers while fending off the bandit beside him. He points to the most injured ones, nodding. "Grab the bows and arrows and keep firing into the monster! Don't let it get close!"

But apparently he throws the dirt too early.

"Ye look a wee bit top 'eavy, frien'!" the dwarf laughs, seeing the goblin wobble a bit from the weight of the axe swing.
