Gunther-1

Gunther comes to a stop at the sound of a familiar voice becoming to him
Where did they go!
you see Gunthers eyes scan over each of the three party members he sees before him as if the thing he is searching for is hidden amongst you
perception: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (19) + 16 = 35
Jyord
Jyord uncomfortably shifts his attention between the foreign conversation and his uneasy animal companion who seems to be torn between obedience and, could it be, excitement?

Wait a minute I recognize that large furry beast
Gunther shifts his gaze to badger and a smirk crosses his face
I remember you big fella from a while ago when I was brought to smugglers shiv. I remember you being good warrior and friend.
Gunther lowers his axe

Jyord
Hello Gunther!
How peculiar that the half orc from the dryad's dream quest is here with us now in saventh yhi. Hmmm, I wonder if my other dreams about the dryad were real too...
sMik PZ
Mik, seeing this joyous reunion between two half-orcs and a dwarf, nauseously casts fly on herself and flies back to camp as her Vanish spell wears off.
As if things couldn't get weirder. It wasn't bad enough to travel with these inferior beings. Then they changed me into one of them. Now they continue to multiply. I can't wait until we stop this lizard god from being reborn and I can return to my own kind. First, I have to do something about this body and soon.
Jyord
Ha, ya great gluton! Oh well, ya earned 'em I suppose. Gunther, we're headed back to our camp, you can come if ya like, I think we have much to discuss.

What is a Mik? I hope it is another honorable warrior and not one of those SPELLCASTERS who hides from real combat
Gunther shrugs and follows Goro and Jyord. Gunther rests his hand on Badger as they walk.

Francis, Jyord, Goro, and Gunther start making their way back to the camp.
You guys will make it back safely. There's still some time for Mik, Griff, and ZAO to do something back at camp before they arrive if they choose. In the mean time, any conversation between Francis, Jyord, Goro, and Gunther will be just among them. I'll do a bigger update before I go to bed tonight. At that point everyone will be back at camp.

To spot any rogue tracks along the way.
You don't see any other tracks along the way.
Goro and Jyord make Perception Checks:

Gunther looks down at his wound and shrugs
I am not fond of magic. Not much use to me. I do know the difference between filthy cowardice magic users and magic users who help bring Gunther great honor. Plus it will get everyone to stop pestering me about my battle wound. Only one not pestering Gunther about his battle wound is this great warrior.
Gunther pats Francis on the back.
Jyord
Jyord is perplexed at the request.
I, uh, can make it sting a little maybe.
Jyord open hand slaps Gunther on the wound thrice, casting cure serious and two cure moderates.
cure: 7d8 + 27 ⇒ (2, 3, 3, 8, 4, 5, 4) + 27 = 56

Ah a magic user willing to get his hands dirty! I like you!!! Hahaha
Gunther slaps Jyord on the back as a congratulatory gesture. His hand lands heavy on Jyords back as he laughs!
sMik PZ
When Mik gets back to camp, she does a quick check to see that ZAO and Griff made it back in one piece. Seeing that they are back and that the insane gnome is dismantling his hut of craziness (Paul is making an assumption here), she goes to her isolated area of camp and mends her shirt of the blood, gunpowder residue, and the hole. She then lies down for a nap hoping that when she wakes, this will all be a dream.
Jyord
Jyord makes his way around camp to find the others. He first checks to see if Mik has returned, then suggests a meeting with Amivor regarding the curse and a plan for what to do about it.
Griff Olar
Does anyone inform Griff of our rerecrute, and that he was set upon by rogue spell casters? If so informed Grifff will attend the meeting as well.
Otherwise, Griff is thinking of a way to reenter the crypts without becoming re infected by that nasty curse.
maybe if we wrap our heads in some sort of reflective substance...
sMik PZ
Mik joins the group to meet with Amivor. If Mik sees Gunther, she turns to Goro and mutters:
Friend of yours?
Mik will also keep a good distance from the new arrival.
sMik PZ
Maybe. Was that in the middle of the Rakshasa battle? I forget what we were doing but Mik was there. Maybe Mik doesn't recognize Gunther. She is noticeably shorter than last time and the world holds a different perspective down here. Did you ever wonder if what you see as green is what I see as green? I mean, maybe what you call green I call red. Mik does have different eyes and all.
Mr GM, does everyone recognize Gunther? What were we doing when Gunther was with us last time?
As for Griff, Mik wouldn't inform Griff of Gunther's arrival.
Jyord
Does anyone inform Griff of our rerecrute, and that he was set upon by rogue spell casters?
Not sure if Gunther was with Jyord when he made his rounds, but he at least told Griff about him if he couldn't reintroduce.
Jyord
Firstly, Jyord introduces Amivor and Gunther, and mentions the rogues, which Jyord assumes are Red Mantis, that led to their encounter. He is concerned with the rise in violent Red Mantis activity.
Secondly he tells Amivor that the vaults containing the portal crystals seem to be warded with an insanity causing curse, and warns that any Pathfinder scouts should be wary of entering any structures within the city.
We were all effected. Our friend from the Sargavan Camp was able to heal us, but, well.... the Gnome made a bit of scene. It may be best that we make ourselves scarce around there for a while. A talented cleric would be very useful, if the Society can spare one.
Gimble, The Storyteller
Amivor: "I've noticed a recent change in behavior among your group and I'm glad to see that it can be rectified. I've also been monitoring Juliver's behavior. She has once again become withdrawn, but seems to be slowly getting better. As far as a cleric, we don't have much to offer in camp. The only real cleric we had for a while was Kiyanna and she got called elsewhere.
As far as the Red Mantis is concerned, they have become more aggressive as of late. Besides the attack on Gunther and the 2 folk you came across, there have been other reported incidences from a few of ours and the Free Captains expeditions in the last week."
