Yes

Regarding initiative, it's group initiative, although its rather interesting since we're all casting on each other haha

Secondly we were posting past midnight and I knew Koro had vacation (and kids). Glad he got one in!

Thirdly, Lavi is a powerhouse. You guys probably could take us all out. The threat is real haha

I suppose we're waiting on Belor to see if he decides to go full-tribal and begin a war on the beach.

I didn't do anything so it's Malick up.

Nagl and Ishirou need DC 15 ref save or fall prone, THEN it's Malick's turn.

Malick is down. Hit me back on that PM I sent you!

Nah, here's where we are.

Nagl Charged, Missed.
Ishirou hit Nagl.
Initiative.
I did nothing. (The idea was to threaten people back into their senses but that isn't possible per the game mechanics but it was a decent chance to roll play.)
Koro cast grease, Nagle fell, Ishirou will probably fall.
Now it's Malick's turn.

Between Create Water and Good Berry, you could live here indefinitely assuming there are suitable berry plants. I am sorely tempted to try and keep the NPC's from running off, but I don't think it would be effective right now. So it goes.

I imagine you may have to travel after a while to find more bushes but you probably couldn't deplete the island's supply in a lifetime given only 1 berry is needed per person per day. We are just waiting on Nagl to make sure he's all good before leaving camp then I'll probably post first thing tomorrow morning when I get off work. I'm going to keep Koro out of combat unless the camp is attacked or its otherwise required.

I was thinking more along the lines of Goodberry being a few healing points to Nagle before we hit the cave, or to the party after we hit the cave.

Oh certainly, but it is neat that just one level of druid can drastically increase your survivability in these types of scenarios.

I could wade out in to the water and convince a whale to take us to the nearest continent, but I think that goes against the spirit of the thing.

A shark punching campaign sounds delightful!

I've spoken with GM but to Malick and Belor: My bad on the delayed post. Tim had to post before work last night and my earliest available (and still not convenient) time was about a half hour after that so I put it off til today. Heading over to post now.

Whoa. Decent rolls.

Sorry for hogging the light, I don't wanna spook him :)

Scarab Sages

No problem here, it would have been a bit different of a 'conversation' were you not here. This outcome is enjoyable.

I had fully prepared for him to be killed, truthfully. I agree, this is a better alternative and when you have a class who thematically can shine they should get the chance.

Ya man, I'm A-OK with you having some spotlight time. I'm left without much to do but I'm not dissatisfied. We'll all have a turn and it's our job as a party to support each of those turns. Don't feel rushed.

I totally would have conversed all over this dude so hard. Heck, he and I speak the same language, too. Just, you know, that language usually ends up with somebody dead. (I'm talking about "violence," folks.)

Violence: the language of love

Back from the Misty Mountains, y'all. Lemme do some reading up.

Huzzah! Welcome back!

I rolled well on Survival, but I took a few nonlethal HP in the feet. Ow!

Ah damn, Belor missed me by about 5 minutes when he posted. I will likely start combat and throw up the map on Roll20 when I get home from work.

I'm pulling this "strike at night" thing from something and for the life of me I can't remember what. Was this in A Song of Ice and Fire somewhere?

I'm also feeling more orcish with Nagl's speech finally. That's good. The guy's a linguist so I expect some pronouns will still be present. Thanks for, you know, suffering through the trial and error process.

Sorry guys, yestarday I had to take a small hiatus to figure out some things with my job situation but I'll be back at it today.

No worries. Good luck!

Might do a strawpoll next time we have to make choices. Or we could have decisions round robin based. We take turns deciding the next course of action when we hit a crossroads. I am only partially serious, as part of me thinks it would be maddening, the other part thinks it would be hilarious.

Survival Bots, rollout!

Yeah, I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out a good, clean method of pushing the party forward or doing votes but it is a very tentative thing. I don't want to squash roleplay points but I'm not always sure when those times are over and if I should portray a change in scenery or if I should let it happen more naturally through the players. This is just as much a learning experience as every other time we participate in the game. I am always open to suggestions and even preferences on how you like the interaction and format to be displayed.

As you've undoubtedly noticed I'm posting light right now. Given that this campaign should take a few year a this will fluctuate. I'm easy going. Sometimes maybe I'll care. Right now I'm OK sitting back a little.

A wind up barbarian sounds quite amusing.

The mechanism of Rage is similar to a wind up mechanism, if you think about it! Clockwork barbarians are probably already a thing in weird old Numeria.

Heh.

Part of my quietness is due to a recent transition to smartphone. I find myself with a keyboard less these days.

If you have Android, Wayfinder is apparently cool.

No such iOS equivalent. :\

Wayfinder is *apparently* cool except that it leaves an immersion-destroying "Submitted by wayfinder" tag. I bought it then got a refund last month. The formatting with bolds and dice etc is the real obstacle.

"You see anything of note while us gone?"
I'm liking the voice I'm finding for Nagl haha. This "linguist half orc raised among orcs" thing is kind of fun. A few pronouns missed. A few smart phrases collected. Fun times haha.

Back on schedule. I spent the last few days organizing a lot of scattered info on my end. I'm going to try to make your rolls more relevant and their effects more transparent now that I have a good overview of them.

Currently waiting on Nagl and Kororinda to post their moves before I continue the game.

I'm back! I'm back! I tried to post yesterday but paizo was being difficult and then I forgot to come back. For what it's worth: Organic Chemistry is no longer a bleak and dismal field of sorrow and woe. It is not just woe.

I mean to say that I did well on my last test.

Hey-o!

Scarab Sages

Male Human Swashbuckler

Doin' alright. Got one more week of teaching wee lil' kiddies the wonders of science and art in summer camp type form. I was also thinkin' that me and some buddies would do some fun story telling and dice type game, but maybe some are like busy and stuff?

They are cool people, so I hope they are well, but I would also enjoy getting to stab people with them again.

Oh gosh, real life...so hard to find time for an actual table game. I started to put one together and then remembered I have wee children. If I do get more time, I think I'll spend it making music...tough decision, but I think that will be more fulfilling. There are Meetups for both types of activities! :D

I wanted a scoop of cinnamon and a scoop of chocolate fudge! I hate it when that happens.
