The clapper is a 2-handed weapon on its own. I'm not sure what advantage you would gain from turning a 1-handed forceful whip into a 2-handed flail. 2-handed(Close, Reach), forceful, +1 damage, pyrite, 3wt)

That said, they would each have a place to attach something.

I was hoping for Forceful and messy. you know really graphic violence

Forgot the Clapper had messy... and the rope had piercing nails... How about (2-handed, Close(messy, +1 damage), Reach(forceful, 1 piercing), 3wt) If someone with Int/WIS/Dex wants to try to craft it, we'll see how much of that functionality it'll keep, or how much weight you can reduce.

You could always take the fighter/wielder's unique weapon at level 1...

In either case, that'll have to be during a rest though.

You also have to justify the Evocation or Pyromancy domain. Is it justified through the hand gestures alone? What makes it possible for you to tap into the evocation school here and now? Was it the spicy bugs?

(It also occurs to me that there wasn't anything built into that move to limit spell level. I'll have to fix that I think...)

Conjuration and evocation. Spells must be both in some way. They can always be physically effected

Could you be convinced to treat my rolling DR to allow me to change (Or just re-roll) an aspect of the person we got?

Which aspect? I can give you the near-misses.

well, Imazael is looking for addicts, hedonists, or learned and eloquent people (Luminary). His physical trait (one eared) is just fine, and religious is close enough to addict for her (After muirkhom's examples) o I think line cook would be the re-rolled.

For near misses that might make sense, you have a Soothsayer and a Steward. Both would fit the idea of a Despoiler house advisor, just different flavors. The Soothsayer may be an addict, the Steward would be more learned.

Human-ish Level i^64 game master l Team (H): 3, Team(P):2

I like steward, sounds like a useful pawn

3 people marked this as a favorite.

Lemme summarize the last minute or so in-game:

Imazael: *clandestine meeting with steward*
Gulirk: *smashes door*
Door: *makes terrible noise*
LASaROS: "let's leave."
Lemongrass: "What aboot elemental?"
Kyrillosr: *bubbly neigh* "I can check village."
Imazael: "Yeah, do that. We should go. Nothing to see here. Let's just ignore the crypt. Totally nothing important in there." *inconspicuous whistle while dragging someone else's minion into a dark room*

Human-ish Level i^64 game master l Team (H): 3, Team(P):2

She didn't drag Myxis, just gently encouraged... while flashing some fang

You know, when I have gullible right in my statline, I'm a little disappointed that nobody's taken the chance to try and lead me on yet. I mean, I doubt people would have much luck where Midas is involved, he's pretty good there, but he's not had common sense beaten into him by a mentor over many years in every area.

I just want to see the guy get swindled. Or indoctrinated into some group without realising. Who knows what? Probably being impatient, but I really want to see this happen. I rolled it, and I'm gonna roll with it.

maybe, the leading is very subtle. hmmmm

...if it's happening and I'm not even catching on, that's just embarassing, since it means you got me too.

Not that I'd be surprised, really.

Don't worry. just placing puzzle pieces. the full picture should take a while. We just need to stay alive long enough for it to appear

BTW, the convo happened when we had plenty of time. I'll wear one.Emma can if she wants. And tell the gnomes to wear them as a way to settle a nervous mind, who just murdered an undead.

On about the pyrite icons?

It's just that I didn't have them in my inventory, I didn't expect it to be with the gold (though actually, it sounds like it should be now that I think of it) and it's obviously not been spotted anywhere.
So, yeah.

Also, that was in defence of another and you know it!
most fangers are piles of arrogance more than people anyway, you can't murder things that aren't people

Gul examines the Icon of Midas.

What does it look like?

Gullible Male Thug Dwarf Pilgrim | Lvl 0 | XP - 0/7 | HP: 11/12 | Armour - Faith | Damage - 1d4 | STR 1 | DEX 0 | CON 2 | INT 0-1 (Stunned) | WIS 0 | CHA 0

An open, outstretched hand, the elements of the world swirling across the surface of its palm. The Goldcrafter was one defined by creation after all - even if gold is his most noteworthy creation, the substance that it is, he still made the likes of say, the dwarves as well.
We've yet to see what he's truly capable of. Only once he is given form in gold might he be able to truly test the limits of his ability to create. And so, the icon represents Midas's true nature, and potential. How fitting that the hands of creation will be the final touch to bring him into the world.

isn't it funny that the gnomes are gifted at creating metal bodies. Hmmmm

AFAIK if it's not gold, it's not in the gold pile.

The cathedral was breifly inhabited by a fallen sect of Midas. There'll be some pyrite about.

Nerfed!

Edit. I mean our speculations

Muirkohm. Mention your plans to the ifrit.

I dare you.

lol

Well, I thought, I could ask you to tell me why I should...

Or I could do it and laugh at the fallout and possible TPK. Not like death means much, right?

Done. Give me another one.

Human-ish Level i^64 game master l Team (H): 3, Team(P):2

Whoooooooo! Pushing drugs and kidnapping in the same day! plus probably some exsanguination later!

Not those plans. The golden elemental-fueled avatar of God and/or deathmachine.

I've got a hunch he'd really like to hear about it.

No idea why it might come up.

Gullible Male Thug Dwarf Pilgrim | Lvl 0 | XP - 0/7 | HP: 11/12 | Armour - Faith | Damage - 1d4 | STR 1 | DEX 0 | CON 2 | INT 0-1 (Stunned) | WIS 0 | CHA 0

Ah. Context, context. I don't know how I would have guessed that.

Where did elemental-fuelled come from, though? Maybe I could ask him to help build it, but it's nothing like the gnomes are doing...at least so far as Muirkhom is concerned. Why would Midas need a bunch of elementals, after all? He's building a literal avatar. He makes the body, Midas makes use of the body.

But now that you've pointed it out, I'll mention THAT whenever it might come up.

CucumberTree wrote:

Gnomes build elemental-fueled mecha.

Is the gnome works destroyed? by the wording it may be protected

It's floating in a bubble of protective magic forces above the black crater.

That's quite a non sequitur Muirkhom

Gullible Male Thug Dwarf Pilgrim | Lvl 0 | XP - 0/7 | HP: 11/12 | Armour - Faith | Damage - 1d4 | STR 1 | DEX 0 | CON 2 | INT 0-1 (Stunned) | WIS 0 | CHA 0

Eh, it's not that bad. Graverobbing's hardly an interesting conversation topic after all that Muirkhom's done over the years anyway. It's just everyday to him.

I don't know. If someone starting talking about grave robbing at a party. I know that I'd listen.

Gullible Male Thug Dwarf Pilgrim | Lvl 0 | XP - 0/7 | HP: 11/12 | Armour - Faith | Damage - 1d4 | STR 1 | DEX 0 | CON 2 | INT 0-1 (Stunned) | WIS 0 | CHA 0

Who talks about grave robbing at a party?

You and I go to very different parties, I think,

Well, what do you expect? Digging up graves isn't the way I go say hello to my neighbours.

We need to take Muirkhom on a drug fueled Fear and Loathing style bender

As long as you know what's best in life. To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women. You'll be fine

I had never heard any of those... out of curiousity, are these niche, or just before my time?

Edit: Though, I will say, I can't decide is a pretty good summation of Imazael

I don't know why, but it makes me very happy that these are genres

As Kyrillosr has a +1 bond with Gul, therefore a success. Can I get a resolution on the trap? because I am clueless as to what to post
