As an apology for the delay and because it's been a long-ass time, consider yourselves fully rested. Also, let's say we're writing Yridhrennor out by his being urgently summoned on wizard business to elsewhere.
Blink made her way down the steps, watchful at every tread, and came at last to the door at the bottom. Through it she could feel a vague malevolence from beyond it, like heat made from hate. But the door bore no traps and she could see no other way forward, so she cautiously opened it.
Beyond she found an abyssal dungeon: Drezen's clean, of battle-damaged, lines and plain walls gave way to twisting runes and demonic carvings, some of which seemed to move when not looked at straight on. A dimly glowing red lichen crusted over patches of the walls and, painting the whole chamber with light not far off the color of fresh blood. The air itself, or perhaps the carved demons, spoke in a constant, low whisper at the edge of understanding.
The sudden change was enough to briefly take her attention from the fact that she'd come out into an iron cage which surrounded the entrance from above, with a door just opposite shut tight against the crusaders. Beyond the bars, amid the demon carvings and runes, several cells were cut into the walls. Behind their more distant bars lay rotted-away skeletons, many grotesquely twisted still in their dying agonies.
Also there is a new map. Like the last you may need to pan around a little to get to presently visible stuff but I don't think it's as bad as last time.

Galin could tell that most of the runes were essentially graffiti; blasphemous expressions and the like. A minority, however, were clearly invocations of Abyssal power. He believed they had something to do with the oppressive malevolence that hung in the air, which would likely make it difficult to use certain magic. It was possible there was more than that, but Galin couldn't say for sure.
Spells with the [law] and/or [good] descriptors are impeded in the dungeon level: To cast an impeded spell, the caster must make a concentration check (DC 20 + the level of the spell). If the check fails, the spell does not function but is still lost as a prepared spell or spell slot. If the check succeeds, the spell functions normally.

Blink opens the door and starts down a long corridor, its elaborately carved walls marked by many cells. As she came upon an alcove holding doors to the south and a barred gate screening a larger chamber with doors to the north, she felt a rush of unnatural cold across her skin and reached for her blades just as two twisted, translucent ghosts rose from the floor. They had the translucent forms of horribly mutilated, broken crusaders and their red eyes hungered for life!
Only Blink is aware, but the way the inits fell out it's just her, then the ghosts anyway.

The twisted ghosts followed as she fell back, one passing clean through cell walls to keep on her heels while the other floated past her toward Steave and Theran.

Wishing her sword was enchanted, Blink took a step back and threw a lightning bolt at the undead before her. The bolt passed harmlessly through the ghost and left a large burn mark in the wall. The ghost plunged both tortured hands into Blink's chest, tearing life away from her and leaving a growing coldness in its wake. The other flailed at Steave, but only brushed the flesh of the hero of the First Crusade.

Blink, next chance we get it would probably be good if you change some of your spell slots around to account for our not longer having a dedicated caster. I forgot to bring it up when Y left the game.

I was wondering why there was no action for this game. Apparently I was getting notifications for the others, but not this one.
Theran growls and strikes out at the ghost. He knows it's hard to hurt, so he focuses on hitting it hard enought to shake it's spirit.

Theran growls and strikes out at the ghost. He knows it's hard to hurt, so he focuses on hitting it hard enough to shake it's spirit. Alas, his earthbreaker flies through the ghost without doing it any visible damage.

The nearer ghost, gravely wounded, stretched out its chained arms and spun in a twisted circle. Theran shrugged off the chill touch of death, but it further wounded Blink and she felt the pull of the inevitable nearly take her. Steave took only the slightest chill at first, but even that slight touch spread through his chest and left him diminished.
The farther rushed in and reached for Steave, leaving him still more chilled but not further weakened.
