Male Human 2nd Level Alchemist

That goblin's good as dead with the Ranger's blows...it's rather sad that we won't be able to question any of these... Algus ponders as he tries to find another target. he shifts his view south, towards the hill, and eyes one of the small, vicious critters with a murderous intent.

"One more for today shouldn't be such a hard expense..." he thinks, as he approaches the goblin a bit and prepares to throw another explosive.

Moving to BD90 and throwing another Bomb(3 left for the day).

Alchemist Bomb! To Hit: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 Using Point-Blank Shot and the Bless from True.

Alchemist Bomb! Damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 Using Point-Blank Shot. Radius 5 feet; Radius Dmg 5(1+4)

Yikes...probably a missed attack. Bomb targeting as per rules is 1d8, the roll being the square where the missed bomb plops, with 1 being one square short of where I threw directly in front of me, and 2-8 going clockwise from that square. it doesn't whiff since the floor technically has AC 5, though that's the DM's call as always.

1d8 ⇒ 6

So the bomb plops at BG89. Reflex Save for the splash damage is 15(10 + 1/2 Alch Level + INT mod), in case it's needed. <_<

Idrian's dislike for goblins was so intense that it did not occur to him that many townsfolk were not able to defend themselves until he heard them screaming. He had to concentrate on his attacks to keep from making a desperate swing that would put him at a disadvantage for the goblins to capitalize on.
Greatsword: to hit 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
Greatsword: damage 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (3, 2) + 1 = 6

I'll give Jo'No and Anya another night to post. FW's family is sick I believe, and I know how that is so let's give them some time.

Algus, you may want to reconsider that last action. The goblin you were throwing at had moved to engage Anya by the time you went. I would update maps after each group but it takes me time to put them together and it wasn't something I had much of lately. I'll try to get better at keeping people reminded where the goblins are when it's their go in future. cheers

Male Human 2nd Level Alchemist

eek. <_< I think I gotta be more careful with them bombs. I could use my turn to ready the Crossbow and fire it, yes? if so I'll do that. I'll remain at BB91 and take a shot from there, without Point-Blank Shot.

Light Crossbow, To Hit: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20 Using Bless

Light Crossbow, Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 5

If this is an acceptable replacement for the move, I'll use this one. rather not end up blowing someone up that I don't intend to blow up. <_<

Jo'no sighs, as he sees Tania's sword descend onto the stunned goblin and split him in half. The wizard spins around to see a lone goblin in the middle of the street (BF-90). Jo'no advances towards the goblin (move 30' to BI-92), and casts Daze yet again (Will Save DC 14). In goblin he barks "Surrender", followed by "Subdue that one" in common.

DM Wrath: When you say Anya, you mean True, right?
In case, I'll post Tania's action if it was me you were waiting for. I'll revise it if it wasn't

Tania's Action:

Tania, quite impressed with her attack, moves back to her previous position and takes a moment to pick up her longspear and ascertain the situation.

Humans placing torches for goblins!? What for? Better yet, who?

Back in BJ97
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15

Ok, posting for True (I'm sure FW won't mind since I'm pretty sure his family is ill atm)

Algus quickly loads and fires his crossbow at the goblin engaging True in combat. The shot is a difficult one, as the alchemist doesn't want to skewer the young knight of Iomedae with his bolt. However, it flies true, striking the goblin hard in the back, but not enough to kill it outright.

The creature staggers and then clutches its head in confusion as Jo'No's magic washes over it. The Shoanti mage yells for his ompanions to try and capture one of the evil humanoids, obvioulsy interested in finding out what's happening here.

True hears his cry, and realising the thing is nealy dead, turns her blade at the last moment to strike it with the flat. There is a meaty thwak as the steel connects to the side of its head and drops heavily unconcious at the clerics feet.

Father Zanthus continues rushing across the square to reach teh man felled by the goblin earlier. Even as he kneels by the man, he can tell there is nothing to be done than say a right of passing for the happless man.

Above them, Idrian continues with his angry assault on the heavily wounded goblin under the table in front of him. Despite being nearly completely covered by the wooden furniture, the half elfs skill is too great and he despatches his opponent with a slice across the mid section. The blood loss and shock of pain kill the little goblin instantly.

With over half the goblins killed already, Tania moves back to take stock ofthe situation and regather her longspear. As she looks around, the sound of discordant chanting and singing can be heard coming from the lower part of town. Screams and the shouts of townsfolk can be heard from down there, but more alarmingly the light of something burning can clearly be seen in the darkening sky.

[ooc]Ok, resolved everyone right up to Feldspar. His go for turn 3. Note that the goblins in group 2 are all dead or unconcious so they couldn't really act. The only goblin left is the one fighting Feldspar at BI 88. I'm pretty sure it won't stay that way much longer :) I'll update the map after Feldspars go, but that's only necessary if it survives his next attack. Cheers

The Exchange

Yeah, my wife and I are ill too now so please NPC for now.

Ok, well it looks like Feldspar's player is down and out for the moment as well (he mentioned in my other game that he may be down a day or two)

With a mighty swing of his warhammer, the dwarven paladin puts paid to the last goblin in the square. The creatures rib cage fairly shatters under the blow and its eyes bulge as the force of the weapon throws it into the wall before dropping like a rag doll onto the ground.

With the sudden cessation of imediate threats, the small group remaining there pauses to catch their breath and take stock. Apart from a small gash to Feldspar, none of teh new friends have been hurt. However father Zanthus stands head bowed over the fallen townsman and below, the sounds of combat can clearly be heard coming from other parts of the town. A strange and discordant chanting permeates teh screams and clash of steel, a goblin song that grates on the nerves but obviously drives the little green menaces into fits of murderous rage and hunger.

Zanthus looks over at the group, his face a picture of controlled anger. "Are any of you hurt my friends? Are.." He is just about to continue when a roaring explosion rocks through the town and the telltale whistling of the flashybangs going off warns the group that the goblins seem to have found the fireworks display.

Even as heads turn towards the noise, the sky is suddenly lit by the bright and colourful explosion of the fireworks. The loud boom and beautiful colours exploding in the growing gloom serve as counterpoint to the horror of the sudden attack on the town.

Ok, seems a fairly serious threat has just cropped up near the old Light house. Over to you

Male Human 2nd Level Alchemist

"That's coming from the light house...Viznett was there earlier today." Algus tells his companions with a concerned tone. his Gnomish mentor was powerful indeed, yet the vicious little goblins had strength in numbers. he hurries to the Lighthouse, hoping that he won't have to bury a friend in the morning.

I wonder if we shouldn't run in the opposite direction...

Tania shakes the thought and simply runs behind Algus.

What's that ugly sound?

Idrian exchanges his greatsword for his trusted bow as he quickly goes to the lighthouse.

Male Dwarf Paladin / 4

Feldspar pauses in wiping the blood and gore from his warhammer as the explosions go off.

"More foul deeds have come this night?" He looked around to see the others who have fought against the goblins and calls out to them. "Come! Our work is not yet done!"

Holding tight to his weapon, Feldspar runs off into the night toward the mayhem.

Unfortunately, he's only got a movement of 20' so it might take him a little longer than some others to get there. He'll do his best to follow someone who at least knows where they are going. Sorry for the delay in my posts...I think I'm pretty well recovered now.

Jo'no quickly ties up the unconscious goblin. He will also render some aid to the goblin to ensure that it will indeed be alive for some questioning, and will hopefully help it regain consciousness quicker.

Heal check: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10

Father Zanthus sees Jo'No's intentions and places a firm hand on theyoung Shoanti's shoulder. "Go my boy, I will make sure it remains captured. We need to find the cause of this raid where no trouble has been before!"

The group respond almost immediately to the new threat, dashing off along Junkers Way to the clifftop where Viznett's bonfire was now fully blazing, a full half hour before it should have been lit.

Cavorting around the fire in raptures of chaotic glee they can see another group of goblins. These ones seem to be wielding lit torches as well as the custom swords of earlier.

To the rear of the group of goblinoids, the party can hear one of the evil creatures chanting in their horrible tongue. This one stands over the unmoving form of a town guardsman, and it swings a whip in a rythmic pattern to accompany its singing. As the party move in to view, it points at them and adds another verse to the song, which the other goblins respond to eagrely as they turn to face the group approaching them.

Ok, map for round 1 is here Map round 1 . I've placed Jo'No and Feldspar towards to back given the dwarfs slower movement ad Jo'No's momentary delay with the goblin. I'll post intitiative order soon, just need to get this in so I don't lose it.

Edit - Initiative groups are - Idrian (1), Goblin group 1 (2), Algus and Feldspar(3) Goblin group 2 (4), Tania and Jo'No (5), Goblin Chanter (6), True (7)

The goblin chanter is at BH 47. The North of the map is basically one large cliff, a drop of over 25 feet to a rubble strewn beach below. No sign of Viznett or any other townsfolk here at the moment. Ok, Idrian is up for round 1

Idrian takes aim at the goblin leader standing over the guardsman and fires an arrow.
Composite Longbow: to hit 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20 w/Fav Enemy
Composite Longbow: damage 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6w/fav enemy

Well that was fast. Will do my bit now then

Idrian's arrow flys true, striking the goblin chanter high in teh chest and interrupting the flow of his song with a thudding grunt. The creatures eyes narrow with malevolece as it looks at the Half elf, obvioulsy ready to kill this new threat, despite the serious wound it has just suffered.

The three goblins nearest to it rush to engage the new enemy, charging across the open space where possible, brandishing both flaming brands and dog slicers as they come.

The three upper most goblins all double move forwards 60 ft. Goblins now at BD 61; BE 60 and BG 58. Algus and Feldspar are up

Male Dwarf Paladin / 4

Feldspar doesn't hesitate, striding quickly forward with a firm look of determination on his broad face, holding his warhammer before him with both hands.

"You have profaned this holy day," the Dwarf roared as he approached, "And will now answer for it with blood."

Double Move to BF 64.

Male Human 2nd Level Alchemist

This isn't good...I don't think they could take down Viznett...or maybe he fell off the cliff... Algus ponders for a second as he sees the vicious critters heading towards them.

He feels strangely angered by the change of events; even if he had been deliberately preventing his progress to his goal, Viznett had been of incredible help in furthering his experiments and even vouching for them with the townsfolk. to lose a mentor figure like this simply doesn't feel right in his mind.

He quickly advances to meet the Goblins. even in that rage, he decides to save his Mutagen for the true culprit of this disaster, instead opting to use another explosive on them.

Moving to BE65, and throwing another Alchemist Bomb(3 Left for the Day)

Alchemist Bomb! To Hit: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8 Using Point Blank Shot

aw, Fail. Splash Damage is 5, as always. T_T well, I'll roll for the misaim.

1d8 ⇒ 7

The Bomb lands on BC62, I believe...up to DM's criteria. well that's not a very good prospect, heh. T_T

I realize I am jumping the queue before the goblins, but since I won't be able to post until later this evening, I thought I should post quick. I don't think anything the goblins are going to do, will change my action.

Jo'no advances 25' forward, while ensuring that no goblins are next to him, he unleashes the heavy artillery upon the goblin caster...

Magic Missile: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Female Human Cleric 2

True is as slow as Feldspar so perhaps she needs to be put near the back. Also DM Wrath can you let us know if the bless spell has run its course before or after this fight.

The female knight struggles to keep up with the holy dwarf and the sweat is pouring down her face by the time they reach the fire goblins.

I'm very fast over short distances! Not like this.

Feldspar comes charging past his new companions, in order to place his armoured form between the attackers and the less fortified of his companions. As he moves, he catches sight of more of the creatures down the alley between the nearest two houses and curses.

Algus in teh mean time moves up and hurls another one of his incendary devices. With a muffled crump it explodes on the ground beside the goblin he was targetting and the creature is engulfed in flames and shattered ceramic. While extremely injured, the goblin is still stanind, though the bewildered look on its face speaks of its immense shock.

The goblins that were previously concealed by the alley come rushing out, squealing in happiness and calling out in goblin as they rush into the flank of Feldspar. While the forst creature to reach him fails to land a blow, its attack is enough of a destraction for the dwarven warrior to drop his guard so that the second goblin does land a blow. (hit AC20, 3 damage to Feldspar)

A third goblin squeals and giggles maniacally as it comes rushing up main street towards True, the creature moves as far as it can get before using its momentum to launch the burning torch in its hand towards the cleric. The brand flares brightly as it hisses through the air, but passes harmlessly past the woman to land with a whuump on hte ground behind her.

Jo'No, realising the threat that the caster towards the rear poses, dashes forwards with his companions and releases a bolt of green energy from his hand. The missile arcs soundlessly through the air and hits the wounded chanter dead centre of the chest. The force of the magic punches through the feeble armour there, booiling skin and muscle before cracking the chest cavity itself apart in a sizzling crump. Eyes wide in the surprise, the chanter looks down briefly before toppling lifelessly to the ground.

Map update for part way through round 1. Map

Since the goblin Chanter is now dead, ots over to Tania and True to post actions. If I haven't heard from True by morning I'll post for her assuming FW is still out of comission.

Female Human Cleric 2

True turns on the nearest goblin and slices down at its head from on high.

Five foot step to BI67 and attack Longsword 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21, damage 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Happy that that goblin has ceased singing that horrid goblin song, Idrian fires at the approaching goblins.
Move to BE66 and fire at BD61
Composite Longbow: to hit 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22 w/fav enemy
Composite Longbow: damage 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 w/fav enemy

Seeing goblins pouring out from all side, Tania hesitates for a second, then she notices Algus and Feldspar, almost open to further attacks from the goblins. She moves forward to support them, ready to skewer any goblin that charges forward. "I guess we know who wanted the torches and the fireworks! It doesn't make sense though. Aren't they as stupid as they look?"

Move to BE64, Ready action to set against a charge.
Roll in case (with Bless): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13; 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11

"More maliciously cunning than intelligent. They aren't smart enough to have organized this, though. There's someone doing their thinking for them that's for sure." Idrian lines up another shot....

True's response to the goblins poorly aimed torch is violent and permanent. The heavy sword she wields whistles as it arcs through the air, cleaving the goblins head in twain. It drops twitching to the ground.

Tania moves forwards to help form the defensive barrier needed for the group. She sets her spear, ready to meet any threat from the goblins moving forwards.

Idrian takes a more direct action, loosing another shaft from his bow and dropping the goblin that was burnt from Algus' initial bomb blast.

Ignoring their fallen companions, the goblins continue to press the attack, their minds addled by the booming fireworks and possibly drunk on the destruction they were wreaking in the town. The top most creature closes with Tania, moving just fast enough to engage but slow enough to keep defenisve against her sudden spear thrust. It tried to strike past the beautiful bards defenses but the effort in getting to her safely cost it any true skill with its own weapon.

The second golbin moved forawrds, past the embattled Feldspar and hurled its torch towads the apparently softer target at the back. The improvised weapon hissed and spluttered as it sailed through the air but completely missed its intended target.

About to head off to my staff christmas party. Will update map later. Algus and Feldspar to act. 4 goblins remaining. Algus, none of the remaining goblins are in a position that's overly good for bombing (particularly if you miss). You may want to hold off posting till I get the map up. Cheers

Male Dwarf Paladin / 4

Grimly ignoring the pain of his wounds, Feldspar lifts his warhammer and smashes it down on the goblin that's struck him.

Not sure which goblin that is...take your pick, DM.
Power Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Damage: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14

The Exchange

M

Updated map so Algus can post Map update

Feldspar swings the hammer with great might, but the goblin in front of him dances aside at the last moment, causing him to miss. White teeth gleam in the firelight and bright colours of bursting fireworks. "Time to die die beard man" it cackles in broken common.

Male Human 2nd Level Alchemist

"This isn't good...that Dwarf is taking a lot of injuries...", Algus thinks as he tries to examine the situation, seeing the Lawful warrior take another blow. it has become a close brawl now, yet he possesses no true close combat weapon except a simple Knife. rather than remain useless, Algus decides to just try and ready a shot to defend Feldspar from the vicious critters.

Move to BF67 and Reload the Light Crossbow.

Female Human Cleric 2

True turns back to see the dwarf paladin swamped by critters. "Watch the one on the left! He has a rusty knife for your leg, Feldspar!"

Algus moves to better positon and readies his crossbow again. The goblins seem to be causing the dwarven paladin quite a bit of difficulty at this stage.

Even as the alchemist watches, one of the nasty little creatures steps slightly to the side, better positioning itself to threaten teh dwarf with its companion on the opposite side of him. It slashes viciously at Feldspar, but misses completely, the poorly weighted wepon it wields making the shot hard.

It's companion has no such issues though, again slicing past the dwarfs armour and into his thigh. Blood flows freely from the wound and Feldspar is beginning to look very badly hurt by this stage. (Hit AC15, 2 damge)

One of the goblins 5ft step to BG65 to set up a flank, but it missed with a 1 <sigh>

Ok, True,Tania and Jo'No can act. Also, Idrian can get his round three actions in there as well. The end of Round three will see the bless spell dissipate as well. A short duration between encounters plus the travel to get here accounts for a few rounds. Cheers

Female Human Cleric 2

True runs up behind the goblins facing Feldspar and tries to slide the longblade into a beast's back.

Move up to flank goblins, guessing one just moved to BG65 and attack from opposite Feldspar. Longsword 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22, damage 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

Tania notices the special attention directed at Feldspar and decides to give the warrior a hand. She turns her lonspear towards the goblin flanking him, only to find True with her blade firmly inside it and its eyes loosing focus rapidly. She raises the spear above the Dwarf and stabs at the other goblin within her reach.

Feeling the foul breath of a goblin nearby, she prefers to change weapons to allow her to close in comfortably.

Swift: Arcane strike.
Standard: Attack with longspear the goblin at BG63, bless: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13; damage: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
5-foot step to BD65.
Free action: drop the longspear.
Move action: draw the lonsword.

Seeing Feldspar in a little bit of trouble, Jo'no will cast Daze (Will Save DC 14) on any unharmed goblin that is currently threatening Felspar. (If they are all harmed, then he will cast it on the one furthest away from Jo'no.) Jo'no will also take a 5' step backwards into BG68.

True steps confidently in to the combat whirling around her beleagured companion and deftly rus another of the goblins through. The creature arches its back in pain as the blade punches through, then gasps out its last breath, dropping both the torch and the dogslicer from its lifeless hands.

Tania lunges past Feldspar but misses, dropping her longspear and readying her sword instead since things had become so close suddenly.

Jo'No mutters more arcane syllables, targetting one of the goblins still standing but this time the evil creature seems to shrug the effect off.

Anther booming explosion and shower of coloured light signals the last of teh flahybangs errupting from its mounting. As the noise fades, a thin wailing voice can be heard coming from the cliffside.

Idrian, your up for round three. Bless is still in play, but ends at the end of this round. Only 3 goblins left and they look nervous. Will post an updated map when I've got the kids to bed tonight.

Round 3 map

Feldspar

Spoiler:
I've been working on the fact that your AC is only 15 WW. However I checked your sheet tonight and it is 17 with your shield. If you're using your shield at the moment that last one actually missed. Let me know bud.

Idrian fires off another arrow at BE63 as he moves to BC61

Composite Longbow: to hit 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16 w/fav enemy and bless
Composite Longbow: damage 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 w/fav enemy and bless

Not sure when I'm supposed to post, as the goblin groups have dwindled.

Tania, sword in hand, maneuvers to get behind one of the last goblins. She raises her sword above her head and lets it fall, pushing down with both hands.

Move: BD62 for flank.
Swift: Arcane strike
Standards: Sword attack w/ Bless: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
Damage: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

Male Dwarf Paladin / 4

Wrath:

Sorry for the confusion: Feldspar has not been using his shield but has been wielding the warhammer two handed, so you're right: his AC is 15.

Sorry I wasn't clearer!

Idrian tries desperately to line his shot up with the goblin engaged with Feldspar, but the whirling nature of the combat makes it almost impossible to tell where the goblin is going to be for his shot. Just as the half elf releases the arrow, the goblin ducks under a wild swing from the dwarf and it whistles past the little creatures head.

In response, the goblins shift targets, the chaos of the melee drawing there attention from one opponent to the next. Tania had done well to swap weapons, for no sooner had she gotten the sword free, than her opponent stepped back in to engage her. Its lack of skill in combat continued to prove true though, for it missed extrememly wide of the young woman. (goblin 5 ft step from BE63, to BE64 and attack Tania.)

The goblin to the south follows suit, ignoring the dwrf to try and fell the dangerous woman and her longsword. It steps in under her swinging sword and retaliates with a strike of its own. The blow is much more competent than its firend, but True's armour turns the crude weapon away before it can do any damage.

(Goblin at BH64 5ft step to BH65 and attacks True)

Algus and Feldspar are up. Then if its still alive there is one more goblin, then I can resolve Tania's actions

Also, Idrian I couldn't see precise shot on your sheet so you took a -4 for shooting into combat. Let me know if I've misread anything there and I can rectify it. Since both Goblins missed this will not be difficult

Male Human 2nd Level Alchemist

Algus, seeing that the brawl is intensifying, yet going in their favor, decides to try and help push the advantage they have over the goblins. he swiftly steps between the group of vicious little critters and Jo'No, in order to provide a decent protection whilst still having the offensive edge. he readies his shot and fires at the vicious creature straight ahead of him.

I take a 5-Foot Step to BG68, fire the crossbow and reload it. I think...it's a legal move, but if not, I can simply shorten it to the step and then firing.

Crossbow Shot! To Hit, using Point-Blank Shot 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

haha, the dice don't favor me much these past few days. I hope I don't screw it up too badly. T_T

Male Dwarf Paladin / 4

Feldspar shakes his head as the goblin's score another hit on him. "Torag, guide my arm," he says as he brings the warhammer around again.

Power Attack (Two-Handed) 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 3 + 1 = 17 Forgot Bless last time.

Damage: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

I won't pick up PB Shot until level 2 as my bonus feat.

Algus steps away from the closing goblins and fires wildly at the nearest opponent. His aim with the crossbow is far wors than with his incendiaries though, and the bolt flies harmlessly over the cliffside and into the ocean somewhere far below.

Feldspar, realising how precarious his position has now become, swings the hammer with great power and this time accuracy, bringing his fow down with a sickening crunch.

The remaining two goblins suddenly seem overtaken with fear for their lives. They begin casting about for the easiest way to flee, but Tania has other ideas. She steps carefully behind the one who had moved up on her and drives her sword point through its neck while it looks around. It dies without a sound, dropping limp to the ground as the spine is severed just below the head.

And then there was one. True and Jo'No to act this round. I'm assuming the beast will die but best to check. You guys have done well so far, but I've been rolling abysmally in general :(

Algus, as far as I could tell your actions were fine. No different to Tania's good use of actions previously. Had to read over the rules to check for hers and yours but I believe we have them right.

Jo'no, looking disappointed in his mastery over his orisons, looks even more determined now. Knowing of how dim-witted goblins typically are, Jo'no suspects his movement may have affected his concentration. The shoanti stiffens his muscles, ensuring that he doesn't even waver has he again calls forth his trusted spell.

Sadly, I easily loose track of where everyone moves to, so here is my "general action". Jo'no casts Daze on a goblin that is threatening Feldspar. Preferably one that is not being flanked by pc's, although an unharmed goblin threatening him, will take target precidence over a harmed one. Will Save DC 14

Female Human Cleric 2

Now is not the time for delaying. Jo'no I believe that there is only one left alive and it is beginning to look for a way out.

True steps up to the last goblin and puts some weight behind the swing, aiming for the creature's neck.

Longsword 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16 Damage 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Wiping her blade on the body she shouts out, "where next? Can anyone make out who needs our help now?"

Female Human Cleric 2

"Do you require healing, Feldspar?"

As the last goblin falls, the sounds of exploding fireworks also fades into the background. Around them, the screams of people seem to have faded a little, though down in the docks disctrict there seems to be some combat still occuring.

A long drawn out cry comes from the cliffside, a high pitched voice calling fo help, seeminlgy struggling to get the words out, as if the exertion were hurting. Algus recognises the voice as Vizznet, his Gnomish friend.

At about the same time, the group hear another combat erupting up near the northern gates. It sounds like two dogs are barking and snarling at each other, while goblinoid voices are raised in a mixture of anger and fear. Though it cannot be quite made out from here, there seems to be a whirling melee of some type in that direction.

What's the matter with the town? Coordinated attacks in all directions!

Tania whips her sword to get most of the blood off, then sheathes it. She swings her long brown hair to get it out of her face.

"All these attacks... coordinated... something bad's happening. Anyone has a rope?"

She picks up her longspear and runs to the cliff to see who's in need.
