I thought it would be like exotic proficiency whip, exotic proficiency bastard sword etc. Yes, Exotic weapon proficiency(firearms) will cover them all.
GM Mort
JujuTrench zombies =) Bwaaaainsss...
Use your third level spells to cast second level spells - you can do that as a spontaneous caster. And if you're running out of spells - tell the group you want to take a break lol.
Mr. Whiskers
As Mort said, you can use higher level slots. I have been doing that.
You do have a point though, it would have been nice to know the type of opponent and their weapons before they opened up on us you with the rifles.
GM Mort
bristling with the armaments it possessed in its horrifying death.
Mr Whiskers recognizes the dead soldiers within as trench zombies - they are like juju zombies except their immunity to magic missile has been replaced with an immunity to acid and they have 5 DR/slashing and magic.
Einar 'Kinslayer' Bjornson
I'm headed to bed, if this fight gets serious Einar will rage and attack with the spear, the numbers should look like:
[ooc]Attack: +1 dragonbane thawing longspear (AC 23)Large,PA,FF[ooc]
[dice=attack]1d20+25+1[dice] [ooc]for[ooc] [dice=damage]2d6+18+12+1d6[dice]
[dice=attack]1d20+16+1[dice] [ooc]for[ooc] [dice=damage]2d6+18+12+1d6[dice]
[dice=attack]1d20+11+1[dice] [ooc]for[ooc] [dice=damage]2d6+18+12+1d6[dice]
GM Mort
Yeah. No problem. Though I'm facepalming here...
"Any confused character who is attacked automatically attacks its attackers on its next turn, as long as it is still confused when its turn comes."
Congrats Einar ;-)
GM Mort
Crummock - holler if you're running out of wands of CLW - I'll insert them in the lewt. I'm not counting how many that have been used thus far.
GM Mort
Yes. Those are his friends strung up in the rafters. No tossing! We need to find some way to fix them! In Crummock we trust!
GM Mort
Just a comment about tactics. When confusion is cast, generally the best thing to do is to close the door and let the confused creatures tear each other to bits =)
Planeshift at will means that the moment you throw the grenades - it planeshifts off. It'll come and find you some other time - all you have done is to kill a roomful of people who you might/might not be able to save.
Also since Crummock is currently AFK - if you need to retcon healing - just retcon it - Crummock can tick off the charges when he gets back.
Mr. Whiskers
Einar's neutral, he would throw the grenades, it was one of the good people that recommended we toss them...
...before he realized that there was a possibility of saving them.
---
As I stated OOC in gameplay, I thought they were already a lost cause like the people used for the tank.
So, who has silver or good weapons? I know that Dimitri has a good aligned rifle -- Holy does that. I don't think we have any way to align weapons in the group.
If we want to leave and return the next day, Mr. Whiskers could pick up a high level Summon Monster spell so he could hurt the creature and prevent the regeneration.
If we decide to go for it now, I'm going to dump some buffs on Dimitri so that he is protected. Currently, he and Geist are our best ways that I know of preventing the regeneration.

So, who has silver or good weapons?
:-) hey, just sayin'
Einar took World Serpent Totem and World serpent Spirit, one of them makes his weapon whatever alignment it needs to be, so he's good to go. Might even use that other mirror image when the time comes, ooohhhhh, he could cast shield too!
edit: if we were inclined to believe the things in the rafters wouldn't help it, Einar would use the hammer and freeze it.
GM Mort
Holy makes your weapons good aligned - there's no problem killing it really. And there's always world serpent spirit.
The things in the rafters won't help it...but something else might...Rasputin has a very long arm...but I suppose we can always do it off screen if you want.
Mr. Whiskers
Sounds like we have enough ways to deal damage provided we can keep those people going.
Do we want to try and maintain fireball formation so that Mr. Whiskers can utilize Getaway if needed?
GM Mort
Fixing the people in the tank would be possible but it'd be extremely problematic and costly - you'd need resurrection. But generally I don't like putting PCs in a position where they see all kinds of atrocities happening in front of them and can't do anything about it.
Mr. Whiskers
Before we go too far, can the Kyton planeshift when iced? I don't know, but Mr. Whiskers should.
Mr. Whiskers
...which is why I'm asking before Einar gets too far from the creature.
Mr. Whiskers
It is getting late here.
In case of bot, Mr. Whiskers would want to get the kids and the victims out of the camp. Even without the kids, he is getting low on spells. With the kids and victims, it becomes much more important.
As noted above, he also doesn't want the Kyton to escape.
Morning spells would be the same Mage Armor x2 (Greta & himself), Getaway, extended Heightened Awareness (himself), extended Heroism (Greta).
I need to look over the spell list again, see if there are additional changes I want to make.
Can any of the Summoned Monsters do some of the healing of the victims?
GM Mort
Krypton is a nice icicle now! It can't planeshift off! But you'll see it again! Once you leave camp off screen Rasputin will break it out.
GM Mort
Get restoration and regeneration on the spell list and you can. There's hp damage but also ability drain and also missing body parts.
Mr. Whiskers
Re: Kyton...drat.
I don't like the idea of trying to kill it with the youngsters here. I also don't like the idea of leaving it be.
Right now, I'm inclined to err on the side of the kid's safety. Get the victims and kids out, then have to deal with the Kyton later.
GM Mort
Lol. That's a plan - but if Rasputin appears now chances are all NPCs are going to die. Horribly.
Mr. Whiskers
Got to crash for the night.
If Einar, Greta and Dimitri were carrying the people (in Hill Giant form as an example) would Getaway allow us to teleport out with them?
Mr. Whiskers wants everyone back safely at the hut. Bot him as necessary burning any spells and arcane reservoir needed.
GM Mort
I think the more efficient way is for Crummock just to planeshift people around. Once they're out (either drunk/sleeping pot/morphine). I will allow everyone in Hill giant form for Getaway as well.
Crummock-i-Phail
Einar 'Kinslayer' Bjornson
I've got to get sleep before my meeting, if were fighting the dragon Einar will use the dragonbane spear.
Crummock could you retcon healing Einar
[ooc]Attack: +1 dragonbane thawing longspear (AC 23)Large, PA[ooc]
[dice=attack]1d20+25+2-1[dice] [ooc]for[ooc] [dice=damage]2d6+18+12+2d6[dice]
[dice=attack]1d20+16+2-1[dice] [ooc]for[ooc] [dice=damage]2d6+18+12+2d6[dice]
[dice=attack]1d20+11+2-1[dice] [ooc]for[ooc] [dice=damage]2d6+18+12+2d6[dice]
Mr. Whiskers
Just read gameplay.
If there was spell on the dragon, I should have been told. The arcane sight would have let me know that. It takes concentration to determine if something is a spellcaster, but I just see spells. If the dragon is a natural shapeshifter, then I don't think dispel magic would have worked.
Which fight are we in since it seems both got triggered? My readied action for Kyton would have been to be outside with the kids since I already burned the buffs for that fight.
Not happy that we triggered something when we had injured like this.
Mr. Whiskers
Alright, then Mr. Whiskers is at the entrance with both kids. We don't know it is a dragon yet. Kyton is hurt.
Mr. Whiskers
@Mort
So, I posted what I had intended to do then saw the Kyton was dead. Let me know how you want to arbitrate this.
GM Mort
Kryton down - then Crummock dispelled the dragon.
The reason why you didn't see spells was due to a certain item.
GM Mort
Thinking how to adjudicate this. Only those who were engaging the kryton would be in the room. The rest of the party would be out and after the kryton went down Crummock would have confronted and dispelled the dragon.
Mr. Whiskers
Alright, so do you want me to place Mr. Whiskers and the kids? Once the Kyton was down, Mr. Whiskers would want everyone in a group again which is counter to what the dragon wanted.
Glad to hear there was a reason he didn't see the spells. Annoyed that I failed to pierce the amulet of non-detection or whatever item was used.
Mr. Whiskers
Not out, just at the entrance where Mr. Whiskers could tell them "Run!" if things went bad and place a wall of stone between the kids and things going bad.
I will let you decide where it happens with respect to the map.
GM Mort
Current positioning for you and the kids is fine, I'll just move Einar, Crummock, Greta and Geist to where they're supposed to be once I get home. I am still out...
GM Mort
All right, manipulated it on phone. I wanted to deal with Crummock's dispel before I was stuck on phone because otherwise manipulating minis is a pain. Of course the hours I could check, nothing happens and once I get to no handphone zone, everything happens all at once ^^
GM Mort
You wouldn't want to be within 10ft of the Kyton. It has 10ft reach. So that would mean you do NOT want to stand at the entrance. That's as far as I can really move you, and Dimitri wouldn't move since he doesn't really care as long as he has Line of sight to the kryton.
I think you can wall from there if you like, that is from everyone from the inside.
I will say you won't be able to wall of stone between both of them since everything happened too abruptly.
Mr. Whiskers
Slide 10 I assume?
It is going to be tough without a grid. Is there some way we could put a grid under the existing stuff?
As for general positioning, this looks reasonable.
Edit to add:
Mr. Whiskers is going to try and talk this down, but will want to know what type of draconic being he is dealing with. First question will be about normal alignment.
