Game Master Whack-a-Rogue

So, I've got some free time and felt like running something relatively quick and simple. A PvP Arena seems like just the thing! After all, who doesn't enjoy killing things? :-)

Rules:
Level 7
20pt buy
Race Restrictions - No Fetchlings, or custom races
Classe/Archetype Restrictions - No gunslingers or summoners.
Starting Wealth - 23,650gp
2 traits

Backstory Requirements - you've entered a gladatorial arena. We'll be too busy killing each other to do heavy role-play, so I really don't care about it.

I think that's about it!

Gameplay Info: Each match will take place in a randomly-selected arena. Options are: 1) urban, 2) forest 3) open field, 4) ever-changing (think Thor 2 final battle). Matches will be one-on-one, single-elimination.

Selection Process: I want this to happen pretty quickly, so I'll keep recruitment open until the end of the week. Depending on how many entries we have by November 16, I'll either run a GMPC or keep it open for a little longer. I'm hoping for 8ish fighters, but we'll see what we can get. :-) If you're interested, post here and PM me a character sheet. This way there'll be no anti-PC submissions. In the arena, combat rolls will be done in spoilers.

About Me: My GM alignment is LN. I'm quite knowledgeable about the rules and don't fudge stuff. However, "Rule of Cool" is extremely important, so I'll figure out how to make the rules support any crazy shenanigans. Want to ride a shield down a staircase Legolas-style? I'll require an Acrobatics check to stay upright. Or maybe a Ride check if that bonus is higher. Do you have Shot on the Run? What about Mounted Archery? They'll affect your to-hit and number of shots. :-) Point being: the rules make up the physics of the game world, so we have to stay within their confines. However, it's not hard to be flexible. Have a crazy idea? Ask me, and I'll see what we can work out. :-)

Nobody even acknowledged its existence. :-( It's still available in case anyone wants to fight without all the Gestalt/Psionic/custom race silliness. I can do 1v1, team battles, PC vs monster, whatever. :-)

awwww..; I thought and hoped it was a wrestling RPG.^^

as it is an arena, I suppose you could make a grappler, monk, synthesist summoners and druids are the best way to go on that

Allow me to express interest and see how it goes from here.

Well, I'm super flexible here; figured this could be a place for people to let off steam by kicking monster a$$, test out theorycraft builds, run through a quick bracket-style tourney, really whatever. It's also a place for people who want to experience arena fighting without having to deal with the gestalt/psionic/custom races of that World Serpent Arena thread. So many options there... It got way to complicated and overwhelming for me, and I figure this can be a simpler alternative.

tldr: This is whatever people want it to be. Even a WWE wrestling arena. ;-)

any other race restrictions? obviously Drow noble is much more powerful than other races. maybe limit to certain races otherwise this can easily be a drow only arena.

Yeah, I forgot about Drow Nobles. They're banned too.

Hey I have a build in mind but it is for the brawler is that ok.

I don't have a problem with it. The Brawler's one of my favorite classes in the playtest. :-)

Agreed. That would prevent losing the element of surprise in the pvp matches.

Hey all still here I don't get a lot of posting time on weekends (got hooked on Civ 5 again yesterday again.
