Male Human Dude

Jack took a full round to aim and fire at the enemies *before* they reached the buildings (seeing as they set up in advance of contact):

BS:10+10+10+5-10+31=56

BS 33, custom grip +5, single shot +10, red dot +10, range +0
BS 58: 1d100 ⇒ 44

Stealth 40: 1d100 ⇒ 36 moving silently + silenced pistol

dmg: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

hit location: 1d100 ⇒ 10 headshot!

Awkward location of Stealth roll in this post is because I rolled it before I remembered to do the dmg roll and didn't want to mess with anything by moving rolls around

Female Human Paratrooper Medic

Anna will follow Pete and Rogers lead and shoot at the one Roger just shot.

BS: 37 + 10 (grip & buddy) + 10 (Half-Aim) - 10 (full-auto) + 10? (range) = 57

Full-Auto Burst: 1d100 ⇒ 67

Mark pulls his weapon into his shoulder, and sights at one of the hostiles holding Lema. He centres his reflex sight over the thing's arm and squeezes the trigger.

Full Action to Called Shot (-10 due to Deadeye Shot) the arm of the alien holding Lema's arm

BS 39-10: 1d100 ⇒ 91

BS 39-10: 1d100 ⇒ 50

Mark's shot goes wide, and he steadies his breathing for the follow up shot.

The enemy that jack fires at completely disappears, the normal gas the is emitted doesn't and there is no trace of a body. The other two enemies howl to each other as they take shelter against the outer wall of two of the buildings on the east side.

Pete's shots tear one of the 2 enemies dragging your teammate apart. The other keeps dragging her. As their ship de-cloaks it's side weapons open up on you attempting to suppress the team. The enemy will reach the side of the ship next turn.

Everyone except jack will have to test to avoid being pinned by the suppressing fire.

Female Human Paratrooper Medic

Pinning: 1d100 ⇒ 27
Willpower of 30. Any Negative Modifiers and I fail.

Anna, not being a fan of being shot at, ducks for the nearest cover once the ship de-cloaks and starts spraying a hail of alien bullets in their general direction.

If Suppressed and in Cover, Anna will use her only Half-Action to fire a Full-Auto Burst to down the other. Even if Not Suppressed, Anna will fire a Full-Auto Burst as a Half-Action then Delay her other Half-Action to see how things Pan Out.

Can Perform a Half-Action:

2nd Shot Damage: 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
3rd Shot Damage: 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
4th Shot Damage: 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

"Well, at least we get a Second shot at nabbing one of their fancy rides, right guys?"

The headshot had no negative effects on the alien?

Hit location is based on the initial roll Roger. It is inverted, GM Did the aliens not burst into gas the way Pete shot him? mark's roll forgot one shot and short range but still very much missed... by 1. I'm assuming they arent in forestry that gets in the way.

The hail of fire from the suddenly-appearing enemy vessel narrowly misses Mark, who ducks into cover. "Get into cover!" he calls over the squad comms, as he raises his M4 and fires off a round at the remaining hostile.

Spurred by the need to save and ally, Pete kicks up the dirt and place it upon himself to do so as no one else decided to close the gap significantly.

" Here we go, shadow me Ash. " And Pete rushes out full tilt running, kicking up dirt and grass as his leg muscles push him hard towards Lema.

Full Run straight towards them, BS tests get a -20 against him, Pete moves.. 18 m I believe.

Male Human Dude

Jack swaps out for his shotgun, and takes takes aim at one of the buildings, waiting for one to poke its head out.

Bob, swap out to your shotgun, we ain't budging from this doorway.

BS: 31+5+10-10=36 (BS+companion+standard attack, single shot-fatigue)

The enemy dragging Lema away manages to somehow dodge the fire from Anna, but cannot avoid the rest of the hail of shots coming at him. He collapses to the ground, gas emitting from his body. One of the weapons mounted on the side of the ship focuses on Pete as he charges forward but misses. The other sprays the group again and scores a lucky hit on roger, unless he dodges he will take 9 damage with 2 pen.

The group by the enemy craft can see two enemy crew that look like the enemies you fought last time behind the force field protecting the side of the craft. They look ready to rush out and grab Lema next round.

The one that Jack shot at also manages to dodge his shooting. Both the surviving enemies enter the structures they were next too. Fortunately they had been evacuated.

Male African American SWAT Close Quarters Weapon Specialist | " Diehard "

Pete knew the firing paths of the ship before and strafes expertly to dodge the oncoming blasts. Dirt kicked up as his legs pumped even harder as he notices the enemy having the same Idea as him.

" Shoot those bastards as soon as that field comes down! They are making a break for her! "

Being the only one who decided to rush forward Pete continued towards Lema, knowing one way or the other he would be a deterrent.

Run again 18 m same as the last, how far is he from Lema?

you are about 16m away from her. she is 4 meters from the ship.

Damn, its almost like they can drag people real fast.

Knowing the severity of the situation, Pete reaffirmed his suggestion. " Don't let any of those bastards step foot out of that ship without going down full of lead! "

Can I make a Dodge roll?

Dodge 40: 1d100 ⇒ 45 sonofa! Toughness bonus 2, so 7 dmg, Roger is at 4/11 wounds

If the enemy isn't coming out this turn Roger spends the full turn aiming. Otherwise shooting

not that it helped you but yes you can. I did note that in my write-up.

Female Human Paratrooper Medic

Pinning Shenanigans:

Did I get suppressed from the last round of shooting before we went? I didn't catch if I did. If I was, I would have attempted to make a +0 Willpower Test to break it at the end of our turns unless I'm not reading Pinning on Pg 255 in CR right.

If Pinned, Willpower: 1d100 ⇒ 56So if I was pinned, I fail the attempt to get Unpinned.

If Still Pinned, End of Turn Willpower: 1d100 ⇒ 26This would be a success meaning that, if this all does come into play, I'd be unsuppressed on my next turn.

If not pinned, Anna'll use her Delayed Half-Action to fire a burst off at the automated turret firing at them in an attempt to disable it.

Unfazed by the hail of Alien Bullets spraying at her and the squad, Anna Fires into the automated turret.
Full-Auto Burst: 1d100 ⇒ 46 with BS 47 After all the Modifiers for 1 Degree of Success + 0.5 Rounded up to 1 from Tracer Rounds for 2 Degrees Total.

Then, Anna turns her attention back to the Ship.

Cool! Then that means the Shooting bit doesn't occur and the Aim Action is only a Half-Action instead of a Full Action since being pinned only permits a Half-Action to be taken, iirc.

"We've got them Pete. They're not going anywhere," Mark calls, as he sees his fellow Brit get plugged by the ship's turret weapon. "Roger, get into cover!" He sights on one of the hostiles, waiting for them to emerge from the ship.

Full Action Aim on the nearest alien, waiting to blast him into next week

Male African American SWAT Close Quarters Weapon Specialist | " Diehard "

Pete gave a breathless response, " Good! That means I won't die for nothing then. Its covered in clouds too, so I dont expect it to be easy. Don't forget these ones like to cloak. "

Pete was gaining speed, the stray shot hitting Roger was concerning.

Roger responds to Mark rather calmly for someone that just got shot

"I'm fine, I'll duck once all the aliens are dead"

He sights the Gecko, breathes out half-way and holds his aim

Male Human Dude

Jack takes aim and will shoot the next alien he sees exiting a building.

Spoiler:
1d100 ⇒ 891d100 ⇒ 281d10 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 141d100 ⇒ 73

Pete gains the attention of all the defensive weapons on the ship and takes 1 hit for 14 damage pen 2 unless he dodges.

The two enemies on the inside of the force field jump out and get to either side of Lema.

Jack gets a good line on one of the two remaining aliens in the village, the other one manages to get into the inner building on the eastern side.

Shotgun: BS 46 1d100 ⇒ 50

Shot just grazes by the alien, gotta get this fatigue off of me. Clip: 10/12

Edit: if Pete's right and I do hit, damage is as follows:

Reconnaissance Specialist | Callsign "Spectre"

Mark sees Pete bracketed by the vessel's weapons, just as the two hostiles emerge from their protective field. He tracks the nearest and tries to drop him with a semi-auto double tap.

Half Action to Semi-Auto the first alien, then Half Action Aim at the same alien if it lives, or the other one if it doesn't. +20 from Full Round Aim, I've assumed medium range (38-75m)

Male African American SWAT Close Quarters Weapon Specialist | " Diehard "

Well Besides the fact Modified Stock gave you an additional +4 when you Full Round Aimmed, no. Full Auto Giveth and taketh away. A standard shot would have been +10.

Pete sees the shot coming right for him and knows the weighted padding could protect him, but attempted to do so regardless.

Dodge Agility 29: 1d100 ⇒ 36 -10 Vest with plates

The Blast hit center mass and cut through him like a hot knife through butter. A bit of steam coming from his back.

" Hnngh, yeah I'm alright, Don't worry about me! I've had worse. Someone had to have the balls to get out here. Engaging the enemy! "

Pete ducked low fighting through the pain, putting a reverse grip on his blade and drawing it to engage in melee with the two Spectres. Ashley pulled out her Combat knife for support.

Pete whispers to her, " If s!&* goes south you grab Lema and drag her and yourself up against the hull and wait for the rest to close.. hear me? You make sure you get back home Ash. "

Ashley cringes at the wound but nodded.

Reconnaissance Specialist | Callsign "Spectre"

Mark watches the hostiles drop to the floor dispassionately. He moves cautiously forward as the alien craft begins to emit a low hum, and suddenly rises into the sky. Mark rushes forward towards Lema and Pete.

"Anna, a lot of people need medical attention. Jack, what's happening in your neck of the woods?" he calls over the comms.

Male Human Dude

I have two hostiles in my area, I have all the civilians in the central building behind me since no indication was made otherwise . Bob and I are guarding the door, holding down the fort until you return.

Pete, placed two fongers up to his helmet coms.

" Copy That Jack. Mark is being melodramatic. We got Lema in tow and the Disk that tried to take her is leaving. Roger and I took a love tap but we are on the way back. "

looking to Ashley, he tells her toss Lema over him so he can rush back into cover and get them to Anna.

" Alright people lets get her to safety and regroup with Jack. Don't take your eyes of that Disk til it leaves. "

Seeing Lema is fine and Pete is carrying her back he runs back towards the village

"Jack give us the location of the last alien, we might be able to take him from behind. He's also alone and without a transport, so if we play this right we might get HIM back with us alive"

Male Human Dude

There's one in an inner building to the East, not entirely what he is doing there but I heard his weapon discharge. I'll radio if he tries to run away.

Female Human Paratrooper Medic

"Melodramatic my ass. Its not everyday that someone gets shot by Alien Whatever-The-F&@+s those were. So, stand still and let me make sure nothing's broken ASAP so we can get back to Jack and nail the rest of those f%~+ers."

"But, before that, Lema's been soaking in those "death gasses" or whatever that mist-s#~$ is, I want to make sure it wasn't a poison or anything."

And Anna walks over to Lema and performs a rapid check up to make sure she's at worst, unconscious.

Seeing that there's apparently nothing wrong with Lema, Anna shoots her up with a dose of De-Tox to be on the safe side.

Before application, however, she makes the side-effects of the Purging Drug known to the rest of the team.
"...so watch out for any Vomiting, Nose Bleeds or...bowel Movements. It's unpleasant but I want to make damn sure that nothing's wrong with her."

And Anna starts heading back towards the Village/Jack making sure to stay near Lema to monitor her situation Ie: not drown in her own vomit, potentially.

Spoiler:
1d100 ⇒ 30

Jack kills another enemy and the last one is in the wind. You have a suspicion that it was able to use a blind spot from Jack's position to get out of the village.

Lema is alive, but unconscious. Anna doesn't think much can be done until you get back to base.

As far as you can tell, all the enemies are dead or have fled.

Male African American SWAT Close Quarters Weapon Specialist | " Diehard "

Pete groans uncomfortably as Anna inspects him. " See, told you. I've been through worse, but I wear this armor for a reason. Just in case. "

When she finished he tossed Lema over his shoulder the numbing agent Anna injected working effectively. " Let's rendezvous with the Locals and Jack. Commander it might be a good time to call in our flyer and get Lema back to base. We need to collect the corpses too. "

Reconnaissance Specialist | Callsign "Spectre"

Seeing Anna working on Pete and Lema, Mark checks on Roger. "Holding in there mate? I'll get Anna to take a look at you, then we're gonna move back to the village."

Once the team is patched up, Mark carefully leads the squad back to the village to RV with Jack. He keeps a careful watch of their surroundings, hoping that they don't get ambushed on the way back.

When the squad is reunited Mark outlines his plan. "I want to start by saying good job to all of you. Great work out there. I'm glad to be serving with each and every one of you. We're not quite done though.

Anna, have a chat with the locals, see if anyone is missing, but explain to them that we've fought off whatever was harassing them.

Pete and Roger, dismantle the explosives - there's no point wasting good kit and I don't want any villagers accidentally setting them off.

Jack, you and I will gather up any - and I'm distressed how comfortable I am saying this word - alien weapons and corpses. Then we'll all get out of here."

Once everyone is working, Mark contacts Powerline. "Ready for extraction when you are."

Roger checks on Lema once they're back, making sure she's not dead.

To Mark he replies

"I should be fine, quite injured but I'll live"

Turning to Anna: "Make sure Pete and I don't die, otherwise you'll need to carry Lema and that's even worse than Pete's yapping"

After they enter the base Roger heads out with Pete to dismantle the explosives Ashley watching their backs I assume

She says smiling but with a small hint of concern.

"And make sure you don't fumble with those explosives. Even I can't reconstitute giblets of meat into a human."

~~Espanol~~

"Everyone, it should be safe to come out now. Would you mind helping us in performing a headcount? We fought off those...people...but we need some help from you in knowing if they did any damage or if anybody is...missing."

She says out loud walking towards the town square.

"As you can all see, while I wish we had been wrong in coming here, it seems that we arrived just in time. As such, we'll need a few of you to, during the day when its safest, to go to the other settlements and tell them about this so that they can prepare to defend themselves."

Anna just acts as a translator/communicator for the group but otherwise just performs rapid first aid on any who would need it.
