@ Donavaan - Sorry to hear of the accident. Hope you are feeling better and that things work out.
GM Valen
Movement updated on map. Need sleep. Will post summary tomorrow.
GM Valen
Hope you feel better, Dora. Take care of yourself.

Heads up, all. I will be traveling from September 30th through October 7th and it looks like my ability to post will be limited. Although I anticipate that our pace will pick up a good bit now that the starship combat is over (and website issues seem fixed), I don't suspect we will be completed with this scenario by then.
So, we'll likely have to take a week's hiatus and finish up on my return.
GM Valen
Ah, okay. I'll have to bow out of one of my session 2 games, then.
I'll do what I reasonably can to keep us moving, but concluding prior to mid-October looks unlikely.
GM Valen
Sorry, everyone, I am mostly back to normal and should be posting normally again starting tomorrow morning.
Glad to hear you are feeling better and that you will be posting again tomorrow (and not just because I can't score a single hit when rolling for Dora).

The low-level drones are Level 4, I think, and then there's a higher-powered one that is, I believe, Level 9 or 10.
GM Valen
Looks like my post from yesterday got eaten
Do you plan to repost?
GM Valen
I tried to move things along quicker that I normally would have, holding out a glimmer of hope that we could conclude before I leave town on September 30th.
We will get very close, but I have concluded that it will not happen. So, rather than putting up an advancing post, I will give more PCs an opportunity to chime in and role play a bit more if they so choose.
I don't expect to have an opportunity to post between 9/30 and 10/7. However, at a post rate of about once per day, I expect we will conclude no later than October 12th (although the party will likely have a potentially difficult choice to make that could require some time/discussion before reaching a consensus).
I am sorry that I could not accommodate those whose PCs were scheduled for games starting up for session 2 before then.
I hope you are enjoying this run at least as much as I am. I look forward to seeing how you all handle the remaining challenges.

Hey, no worries Valen! I appreciate you trying, but I'd rather pause and let a little extra RP happen than try to push through it anyway. Despite literally everything going wrong for Roddy that could possibly go wrong (outside of straight-up death) I, the player, am having an absolute blast!

Yeah, I agree. No problem. The last few days I've had a lot of work meetings that have kept me more occupied than I'd anticipated.

@Taeon, the Inspiring Boost ability specifically states the damage has to come from "a significant enemy." I don't think a trap or hazard counts as an enemy by the RAW, but I would get GM confirmation on that.
GM Valen
We are getting close to the end of this scenario, I realize that I neglected to bring a few things to your attention.
First, I hope that you filled out the Gameday Midpoint Survey. If you haven't, I suspect that the Venture Officers would still appreciate if you did so now.
Second, you have a chance to win a boon! Each player may roll a d20 here for a chance to win a boon. A "nat" 19 or 20 secures you a boon. If you win one, roll a d2 to determine which of the two boons you'll receive.
I'll go first to show you how it is done: Boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 17
Alas, no boon for me today.
Now, you all get to give it a try!
GM Valen
[dice=Boon?!?!?!]1d20
AW YISS!
1d2
It is as if the random number generator is saying "sorry" to Roddy for all of the awful rolls it plagued him with during thia game!

This past Saturday my right right started giving me some issues. I thought it would be getting better but today I went to the Urgent Care and the Doctor has made an emergency appointment for tomorrow afternoon at NM Eye Associates. The Urgent Care doctor thinks that my retina may be detached but wants the specialists to take a look at it.
I will keep you apprised of the situation.
GM Valen
Sorry to hear that Donavaan. Take care if yourself.
GM Valen
I may be wrong, but I am not yet sensing a majority view. Perhaps, there will be one if/when Donavaan next posts.
Unless there is a desire to wrap up quickly, I don't ppan to force the issue, but will give the group more time to talk it out.
GM Valen
Which one is the sequel? I'll have to go on Taeon's list to try.[/b]
Dora 34

OK, so far, we have Dora arguing to return without telling anyone so our superiors can make the decision who to tell. Flexer and Roddy seem to be leaning that way, also.
Taeon and Ashtif seem to be arguing for a tell everyone policy.
