So here's why I didn't heal myself magically before. I was at -3 hp after Light treated my wounds. According to the CRB, when I am at 0 or fewer hp, a standard action (like casting a spell/channeling/etc) actually causes me to lose 1 hp. At this point, my minimum healing from casting CLW myself is 3 hp, so if I cast the spell and rolled a 1, I would get to 0 hp, then lose 1 hp and go unconscious again. Not something I felt like wasting a spell slot on. I figured I could get a night's rest, which would automatically give me 2 hp, bringing my total to -1, then cast CLW because it would guarantee I would get into positive numbers. Also, I figured it would be ok if I slept a bit because it's the middle of the night!
Anyway. Things worked out ok. Let's debrief.

Hey. Just so you guys know, I sent Amelia a message a little over a week ago to see if she is sticking with us. I had noticed she hadn't posted in a couple weeks at that time and wanted to make sure everything was okay. I haven't had any response from her. I'm not sure if she talked to any of you recently, but I'm not sure that we still have our captain.
So Amelia dropped as well so im gonna try and recruit more to the party, in the mean time feel free to interact as you see fit.

Just to confirm, our party is effectively Kael, Light, Mordrin and Mr. Edison correct? I wanted to make sure so that I can get the recruitment running with as accurate information as possible.
Mr. Edison is kind of a resource you can use rather than a party member.

True though technically he is a sentient being so the characters would see him as a person at least.
Yes, though I wouldn't count him as a party member, just a member of the crew.

Think nothing of it, while it is true the net tends to boast a large quantity of undesirable people, this group is not one of them... most of the time. I assume you and the GM have spoke of possible ways to include your character's introduction to our possible crew?

Before we get into the thick of it I have to ask, do any of these items seem important or possibly worth it for anyone?
Also with the loot being split... how would you all feel if the GM simply gave them about the same as we had for the split? Otherwise the alternative would be paying them the amount.. which makes little sense baring no danger. Now I COULD see giving them a Sign on bonus.. but similarly the original crew wasnt to be paid until the job was done. At the same time I sort of dont want people to get cheated.

Problem is, what are these items. Unidentified and all? I could identify the stuff if you brought it to me, foc. I don't see myself using any weapons though. Maybe possibly a longspear to stab from the back.

As far as the items go, I agree that the slippers sound cool. Here's a link to the Slippers of Cloudwalking by the way. They're pretty neat! I don't think any of us would get too much use out of the sword or helmet, though I might suggest you bring them back to the ship momentarily so we can try to Mend them, hopefully increase the sell value a bit.
