A gnome wearing banded mail that had clearly seen some action, wielding a long bow and great sword looks at those assembled and scowls, "Ahn here … Paladin … but don't expect me to go throwing my cloak over a puddle for your wretched old grandmother to cross. I had a bad experience in my last mission with some stick-up-the … some … do-gooders questioning my morals for wanting to kill a vile slaver in cold blood … human or no, just like any other beast he deserved death. In any case … I've got your back, but don't go questioning my methods …"
"Anyone know why we're here?"
Me ... I'm not so confrontational and would probably throw my cloak in the puddle for your grandmother. Trying to get Ahn, a Paladin/Soon to be Oracle leveled up for Paizocon. He's going to be a Life Link heal bot. He's not you typical shiny-do-gooder paladin type though.

Grandmother: What's he say?! He won't even throw his cloak in a puddle for me?!
Miyako: Easy, grandmother. I bet he's had a hard live in which his grandmother abused him.
A human(-looking) girl walks up to Ahn, and puts a hand on the gnome's shoulder. "Shush dear, it's alright. Miyako's here to help you. Now tell big sis what's bothering you."
Miyako's a kitsune, but I have a boon for that. If the GM wishes to see the boon I'll link it to him in a PM.

It's fine. Once we see everyone, we will see where we land in Subtiers.
So far:
Ahn - Paladin 2
Miyako - Oracle 1
Roary - Barbarian 4
? - ?
Merc - 1
Actually, rereading the rules, because we have 1t level characters, it looks like there is no choice but to play Subtier 1-2. It's fine though.
My idea was to play both parts of Before the Dawn. Is everyone good with that? It's not required, but I'd rather know in advance if someone only wants to do part one. Another player has asked to jump in on part 2 because they missed it, so there will be an extra player eventually.
I also wanted to point out that a few of the players are new to PFS and/or PbP games. So please keep that in mind and try to help them out as we go. If things go well, I'm hoping to have each scenario done between 1-2 months, but that depends on a lot of things, and how often everyone posts.
I should also warn that I'm in the military, and there may be some times when I'm not able to post for a little while. It shouldn't be more than a few days, and I should be able to let everyone know before hand, but not always.

Also, I tend to look for tools that are usually available for use (such as often allowed from work) and also free. I use Google Drawings and Documents for maps, which allows everyone to move their digital mini around, and also to draw shapes and the like for thing like spell areas. The cool thing is that you do not require to have an account or anything as a player to use this. You simply go to the map's link and go. The two small downsides is that most phones do not allow you to move your mini, (the way touch screens work) and also that once you have move or changed something, it automatically saves and you can't just hit an undo button. There is a way to do something like that, but it's a bit difficult, so just keep in mind before you actually do it.
For Chronicle Sheets, I will likewise save individual PDFs on Google Drive, and give everyone the link to download. The link will remain, so in the future if you need to redowload it, simply find this game (click on your own name, hit the "Campaigns" Tab, and scroll down to "Previous Games"), it will be there.

Thats fine with me.. I wont be taking part in the 2nd run as ill be getting hardly any gold compared to a proper tier adventure.. Running this just for 1 xp..
Im fine with google docs and such..
Can you start discussion/gameplay so we can dot it?
EDIT: Actually with the timeframe you've set im probably better off just waiting for a proper tiered adventure.. Sorry guys, but thanks for the invite.. If you happen to run any higher games Beckett id be happy to join.. I just dont want him getting stuck in a 1st level tier for 2 months and higher tier stuff opens up..

So I guess you can't edit post, and i wasted a post. Lol
A man walks in stopping just inside the doorway to slide the hood of his cloak from his head looking around at the room. He's abruptly pushed out of the way by the muzzle of a medium sized brown bear. "Easy kesh... you'll get your turn", Bryn pats the bear on the head as they move to a table. "Please don't any of you get startled she won't do any harm. I'm Brynjolfsen and this is Keshra. I hope we're in the right place. We don't get into town much, and this note said to be here for our first assignment.
Bryn sets his pack on the floor and takes a seat, as Keshra lays down beside his table. Both appear to have been in the wild for some time. He runs his fingers through his partially unkept hair, scratches and smooths out his beard, and smiles and nods to everyone in the room.
hope I did this right. Haha

I'm good with doing both parts, I like the idea of continuing a story line til the end. Being former military for 13 years I can understand the schedule thing, so no worries there.
Thanks for letting me join in, and hopefully I'll pick this stuff up quickly. Is there someplace I can get something to help me better understand the working of the PFS world, or is does each DM run their campaigns in different worlds/realms?

A tall man wearing shining banded mail walks in, his cloak fluttering behind him. At first glance he appears to be another human. A closer look, however, shows his eyes be a deep golden hue. As he looks over the group that's arrived before him, be bows and says with a smile"Greetings to you all, and may the light of Iomedae shine upon you."
Hawkeye checking in! And yea, I'm cool with playing both scenarios.

If Dm becket said you were in (and I am not sure who all is in right now, at one point we were three players ... looks like four before you right now.) then you can and should post whenever it seems right to contribute. Even in combat you can post your intentions out of order ... DM's have different preferences exactly how they like combat handled.
