Toshizo reporting for Session 2 from Session 1
Galia Hartswift PFS |
As long as I eventually get something to eat, I'll be there. I don't put in for fancy dress and all that, though, so I may take to staying near the entrance while the rest of you take in with the fancy folk.
GM Kip |
Great. Hekra could I have your Pathfinder Society Number?
GM Kip |
Also Did you want to make a Profession Librarian roll for your day job gold?
Galia Hartswift PFS |
Ah, right. Rolling for my profession, too...
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
First time rolling this for PFS, hope I did it correctly.

Lol, I was reading through the part 1 gameplay thread and realised that Galia had been asking for food since around page two or three...
Kristof Jamison |
Thanks for letting me hop in on this. Kristof has been played twice (neither of them First Steps), but it's been a long time. It'll be exciting to develop his personality with you guys!
Azeban Guitou |
Sorry for being late! I'm a bit caught up in things but I'll post later. Azeban will also put some money for a Courtier's Outfit (30 gp) with the matching jewellery (50 gp).
And happy to see you here, Kristof!
Azeban Guitou |
Hi, Keolin! Nice to meet you.
Oh, I have a question. I'm not exactly clear on this, but do we get to keep the things we took from last session? I don't mean the things we bought with our GP, but, for example, the Thieves' Tools or the Alchemist's Fire we took from one of the errands.
HIJIKATA TOSHIZO |
I'm sorta drowning in work and an o/Seas assignment but will try to post.
Azeban Guitou |
Heya. My week's been slow. Haven't done much and I've been feeling down lately. Otherwise, I've been doing fine and sleeping a bunch. Good news is that I got accepted to this training thing for a company I applied to!
How 'boutcha?
And hope you're doing good, Toshizo.
Kip84 |
Ah, so beat! Started a new job this week. Back to forklift mechanics as it turned out a little tricky trying to balance university and a family with four young kids. Gonna reassess for next year and maybe take one unit at a time. Still I've had a great couple off months off and it's great to have a company car again.
Sorry to hear you've been feeling down Azeban. I hope your training goes well.
Hekra Hawkstorm |
@Azeben,
Sorry to hear about you being down as well.
@Kip
Hey glad to hear your working again !!! That awesome!!.
To the entire group
What do you do for a living and where do you live?
I am in the Army and am stationed at JBLM WA. I also am in College.

Azeban Guitou |
Thanks, guys.
It sounds like you have a lot on your plate, Kip. Glad to hear that things are getting a bit bearable and I hope your family is doing well. Hopefully you're not too tired for us though. ;)
Hekra, I'm in college as an undergraduate of Computer Science. I'm not working any jobs since my health isn't very amenable for it with college studies taking up a lot of my energy.
The training I'm talking about is a required course for my degree—referred to as 'On-The-Job Training', it's supposed to prepare me for how working will be like in my chosen field and what kind of things to expect, as well as give me insight on what kind of job I want to pursue. Well, ideally. I'll mostly be learning how to develop software at the company I got into, which hopefully I can do, or learn to do. I'm a bit nervous to be honest.
Also, I live in the Philippines!
That's nice to hear, Keolin. Did you choose to go there specifically? I've always wanted to go to another country, mostly during the winter in a country where there's snow.
Hekra Hawkstorm |
@Azeban hope you feel better my wife has a health issues, so I get the whole got to pace yourself thing. What"Language" is the software written in? I use to program Actionscript, and Lingo.
Storycrafter |
Heh, I don't even know when they come out, I just find them in my boxes every other month. Assuming you're talking about the PF comic?
Edit: I looked at my subscriptions, and I guess they're actually about 1/month. And I don't see a comic until May, so perhaps you're talking about something else comic related? I'll confess that I was a Heavy Metal reader as a kid and young adult, but never really much of a comics guy.
Azeban Guitou |
@Hekra Thanks, much. =] The software company uses Python and the Django framework, so I suppose that's what I'll be learning. Ooh, Actionscript is cool. I didn't know about Lingo before.
And no clue what comics you're talking about either!
@Keolin I can see how that can get tiring. Hopefully you might see a bit of sun soon. And huzzah for a full ride!

My daughter jumped from the floor onto the couch yesterday. Must of landed awkwardly and she landed on a pencil. End result a child with a fractured knee and posibly needing an operation under general anaesthetic to remove a piece of the pencil they think they saw on an ultrasound. I've never had a broken bone, they sure don't make them like they used to... My poor wife has been at the hospital since the wee hours of the morning and I've had to call in sick on the Friday of my first week in a new job... Not to mention my poor Autistic five year old who just asked for a bandaid and carried on until she woke on the middle of the night with one knee five times the size of the other. :(
Azeban Guitou |
Sorry to hear about that, Kip. I hope everything goes well and it's nothing too serious.
And I hazard you got new comic books on New Comic Book Day, Hekra?
HIJIKATA TOSHIZO |
Sorry, sickness and travel has delayed posting to now.
Kip wishing you and your family well.

Just recovering a little after the weekend in hospital. We didn't get out till Sunday lunchtime. Been catching up on sleep and house work.
Mirabelle's knee seems to be going well though she jumps about so much that the bandage keeps falling off and my wife is worried about the stitches popping.
It's all good! :)
