Sorry guys I have a sick wife and child last two nights, then I caught it. Thanks for the Crit GM lol glad it wasn't against us!

The Leader - Rataji |

Double move and Swift Action activate Eldritch pool so Mister Mage will have higher concentration DCs to cast this turn from my first level Arcane Power
Joliryn takes many little steps to get face to face with the Mage.

Marnarius"The Vengeful" |

Gm can I use my rolls from before? Cuz that's gonna be my turn same target and everything.

GM Skipper |

Manarius scores two hits on the caster as Joliryn moves up to harass her. She in turn steps back, but Joliryn follows with a wicked grin. (I'm assuming you'd like use Step Up). She then attempts to cast a spell defensively.

My readied action should have just kicked off, putting my initiative between Joliryn and Green. And since Red stopped laughing during the interim, I would have provoked an AoO for using a ranged weapon.

GM Skipper |

@Zurnzal: Ah, the joys of readied actions in PbP... She's no longer flat-footed, and you don't have precise shot, so you don't hit. You don't provoke from the musketman, though, since he hasn't even had the chance to draw a weapon yet.

"Very well. Choose the lucky one and dispose of the rest. Do it quickly so we may press forward. There is no time to waste." Rataji says as he walks through the room. I don't know what he is planning, but a scapegoat works splendidly for us.

@GM Skipper, 322 recognizes if one of those Pathfinders is Aram Zey?

GM Skipper |

Zurnzal executes the musketman, giving you plenty of time to work with the tapestry. With the notes you found in the Vaults, the Rending Ritual is disturbingly straightforward. A thin slit appears down the middle of the tapestry, and then its whole center tears open in a deafening rip and a crack of thunder. Planar winds whip out from the frayed fabric for several seconds as purple lightning dances in the tattered wound. The gusts die suddenly, and the fabric stretches painfully to create an aperture nearly 10 feet wide, revealing a peaceful woodland occupied by a growing army.
A woman bedecked in chainmail and scars steps through into the room and then motions for those behind her to remain still. She surveys the chamber for a moment before a broad, genuine smile cracks her tough expression.
“By Hanspur’s soggy hide, I never thought I’d see this world again.”
She shakes her head and wipes away a tear before it can quite form.
“The name’s Wolona, bronze rank. We’ve got good news and bad news on the other side. The good’s that everyone we expected to show up did, plus some more besides. The bad news is that some of them are starting to believe we’ve set them up.”
Wolona clears her throat loudly as though no more need be said.
“The only thing keeping them from just killing each other and the rest of us is my promise that there would be a welcoming committee who might prove this place exists and that it’s not all a trap.”
She starts to turn back to the portal.
“Think you can give them a little pep talk?”
She hardly waits for you to agree before muttering, “I hope they haven’t killed each other already,” and stepping back into the demiplane. She returns a moment later leading an eclectic entourage of about 15 delegates and war leaders, including humans, a halfling covered in bright war paint, a hag, a wyvaran, a yeti, a pony-sized green dragon, and more. They jostle one another while inspecting the room and prodding the dead Pathfinders.

Marnarius"The Vengeful" |

A wicked grin comes across Marnarius' face."Excellent work team, those pathfinders had no chance, did you see the look on their faces? Hahaha! Ooh it feels good. What do you think Rataji how are we on time? Do you think they'll be waiting for us when we go back?"

The Leader - Rataji |

As soon as the leaders of our aid beyond the tapestry have arrived, Rataji throws a Pathfinder body on the table in front of them. "Welcome to the Grand Lodge," he says stabbing the corpse in the chest. Blood trickles down onto the table and begins to pool while he raves. "There is no question of why you all were brought here. We have come to make them pay. Under the guise of 'history' and 'adventure' they steal what is rightfully ours, kill our friends, and humiliate us."
As Rataji's rage builds, he pulls the Wayfinder from around the corpse's neck, the snap of the chain reverberating in the silence. Throwing it at the nearest war leader to inspect, he continues, "Here is your proof. Tonight... Tonight it is our turn. Within their very sanctuary we will teach them what it means to work against the Aspis Consortium and their supporters. It means fear, insecurity, and blood. Call your armies through the portal, the path to revenge is but through these doors and together it will be ours!" He punctuates the end of his speech by raising the bloody dagger towards the door. The Pathfinder Society shall be struck a grievous blow this day, and it will be BY MY HAND!
Social Skill: 1d20 ⇒ 19 Idk what kind of roll you would call that, but Diplomacy is +12 and Intimidate is +15

Zurnzal elbows 322 and steps on Shohiraj's foot, then speaks up himself, "You are all right: we have set you up. We have secretly smuggled you into the center of the our enemies' stronghold, and we have destroyed the magic that lets them plunder your land.
"You have your weapons. You have surprise. They have land for you take. They have treasure for you to steal. So yes, we have set you up. WE HAVE SET YOU UP FOR VICTORY!"

Zurnzal elbows 322...
"What a f...?", 322 thought before realizing that Zurnzal was asking for her help with something, possibly assisting the party leader in his speech. She waits for Rataji finish his speaking and she starts clapping. "Bravo!", was her only expression.
aid another: 1d20 ⇒ 19 If it is Diplomacy the total is 23; if it is Intimidate the total is 33.

GM Skipper |

The motley army commanders roar their approval and immediately begin moving their forces through the gateway, spreading throughout Skyreach, and sneaking across the Grand Lodge’s grounds to cause mischief.
As the army marches through the tear, Gazwyr, a roughly human-sized green dragon, approaches you.
"Wolona spoke of a group that would neutralize the Pathfinder's powerful mage who commands the tapestry and owns all of the arcane books."

The Leader - Rataji |

"There is no sign of the mage yet, but if we meet him I can guarantee his demise. No Pathfinder shall be left unharmed. What spurs your interest in him?" Presumably his library. Unless the others disagree, I see no reason to not let him loot it. The Sky Key is our true goal.

GM Skipper |

Gazwyr smiles cruelly.
"His books are my goal. I shall be a part of this expedition, then"
Upon hearing this, Wolona steps in to try to discourage this.
"I can’t spare specialists like Gazwyr in taking my objectives; if he is going to abandon my crew, I need someone from your team to pick up the slack."
One of you now has the chance to swap out your character for the dragon. He's a very young green dragon.

Marnarius"The Vengeful" |

And what exactly do you require, what skills do you seek? Marnarius draws his new Flail and sets it over his shoulder. If no one else wants to swap then I will. Only if no one else wants to.

![]() |

I want to keep with 322. :)

GM Skipper |

Wolona accepts Manarius' aid, and Gazwyr is free to help you with your final task; acquiring the Sky Key.
xXCrusaderXx, you'll need to make a new alias for the dragon.
Do the rest of you have any preparations before we move on?

The Leader - Rataji |

"Excellent! A dragon, even a young one, is an incredible asset to our cause. Good luck my fellow Agents in your endeavors. I have no preparations to make. When you are all ready, we shall depart."
